This meal was very MEH to me. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla and fish enchilada. The shrimp quesadilla was sort of burnt, but edible. Pretty tasty actually with and without the sour cream. On the other hand, the fish enchilada was pretty terrible. The fish meat inside tasted like burnt fish sticks, only worst! There was barely any meat. The enchiladas were stuck together with cheese. I did not enjoy it at all and didn’t bother finishing it. If you are going to order seafood from here, I don’t recommend the fish. Why sell fish if you can’t cook it well? Their shrimp is always good though.

I’ve probably eaten from Eagle City more than 30 times in the past couple of years, and I have never been disappointed. I mostly just get the 7 or 8 dollar special, with General Gao’s(extra spicy), white rice, and an egg roll – it always hits the spot. A lot of Chinese places in Brooklyn are so bad you almost want to go into the kitchen and make sure the chef is doing OK, but these guys clearly know what they’re doing, and actually pay attention to what they’re cooking. (And yes, I signed up for Unilocal just to review these guys, since I think I’ve actually eaten their food the most out of any restaurant in the city, besides maybe the pizza place next door and a few Viet places in Chinatown)

Cheap Tex Mex Chinese. Nothing special and better but the guys here are nice. Not clear what is traditional Chineese here but good fried fast foods.

It’s a Chinese spot… that serves burritos. tacos. and all that jazz. I enjoy my meals. the meals are not greasy as most Chinese fast food spots. so I’d recommend it. The prices are average. There is no room to dine in, there is one table with seats that hold up to 4 people comfortably… 6 people if you’re desperate. I’ve known the workers for years, real cool bunch. One of the better Chinese spots in this part of Brooklyn. Some people say Kelly(girl at counter) has an attitude. suck it up and get tougher skin IT’S BROOKLYN!!! THISISWHATWEDONYCBABY! A WHOLE… LOTTA… #tude «1 Love, remember you are what you eat! Chew wisely my friends»

Had my cravings for Chicken wings and i ended up with the chicken wings and the dumplings. Then went back 2 weeks later for their awesome MADETOORDER tacos! It is right around the corner from the C train Cliinton/Wash station so it is easy to stop by after a hard day at work. The Yummy and juicy wings. the Sesame chicken! TODIEFOR! And Did a say the price is a fraction of what it is worth?

Ok… I’m a bit scared to think that this place is a dump. In Clinton Hill? I never actually saw the place myself. A friend got it delivered to us in bed-stuy and i thought the food was pretty good. First, we have to understand this is just a takeout place– so expectations should not be high– It’s not China town, you know! Anyway, I like ordering from there because they offer somethings on their menu that’s not on menus in my neighborhood. That’s another thing– they deliver all the way to where I live(quite a distant) and the food is still hot! All the time. They get my order right all the time. Even with special instructions. Everybody likes different types of chinese food. So you just have to take a chance and try something you know and compare it. You either like it or you don’t. 100% BETTERTHAN Kum Kuo-EVERY TIME! …So overrated. Oh yes… the mexican food menu– Again, check your high expectations at the door. But again, I don’t have a tex-mex option where i live in bed-stuy. Chilli Nachos, and the shrimp fajitas are good to go! Tacos are generally tasty. Reliable. Consistent.

Okay, so it’s not going to win any awards for décor or quality, but as far as holes in the wall go, this is about as good as you can get. The dishes can be hit or miss, but it’s a friendly neighborhood spot(they even remind you that you get a free soda or whatnot with your order when you hit the right threshold) and the relatively simple stuff turns out okay. They have a so-called Mexican menu as well, and the tostada salads are surprisingly satisfying

I still don’t understand why none of the Chinese is spicy in BedStuy. If a dish is supposed to be spicy, says it’s spicy, and even has a red pepper next to it — it should be spicy! Or have some flavor. Sadly, Chinese that delivers to me all seems to suck big time. The cheapness doesn’t make up for how bland everything tasted. Their Szechuan Shrimp seems to have almost the same sauce as the General Tso’s. If you just want fast, cheap delivery to fill your stomach, then I guess it’s ok. Being high doesn’t even improve the taste though, so be forewarned.

The food is pretty good. Chinese/Tex-Mex thing going on. Don’t think of it as some fancy fusion or anything. It’s basically how the Chinese make quesadillas and tacos. I like it. Great for delivery, but if you walk past the place and see where you’ve been ordering from, it can make you lose your appetite. Stick to the delivery menu which they stuff under your door at least once a week. Try not to walk past it.

You call up Eagle City when you… — Just want some food RIGHTNOW(delivered within 10 mins) — Don’t feel like walking a block to Kum Kou — Are high — Only have $ 6 on you(min delivery of $ 5) — Want a can of soda for free(with $ 8 purchase) — Need both Chinese and Tex-Mex at once
