Pretty solid choice in the neighborhood. Some of the tofu dishes are the sort of puffy/fried kind, which I LOVE, but not all of them… Happy with my orders through Seamless and Grubhub. Nice delivery guys(only one Grumpy Gus but he might have been having a bad day). I probably order once per month. :)

It’s a new addition to the seamless delivery list for my hood. It’s fast and pretty straight forward. I typically get the steam pork dumpling, the mu shu pork and broccoli with garlic sauce. When I have a craving for Chinese food and I’m nowhere near Chinatown, this cures it. At least, for a little while!

I have been eating here for 14 years and although it is a hole-in-the-wall with a bullet proof glass ordering area, the owners know what I like almost better than I do and always make me something I like. I get: «Perfectly steamed veggies and tofu, sauce on the side, fresh rice» without my even having to ask. The veggies vary depending on the season. they aren’t frozen and watery. As soon as I enter, the woman who takes the orders just nods her head in acknowledgement and I walk my dog around the block. When I return, a delicious meal is waiting for me with a «free drink» and a bill of $ 7 or $ 8. It doesn’t really get any better than this. Order something off the regular menu. It looks like a dive, but this place is really delicious and the staff is wonderful.

NEVERORDERFROMHERE. Order for delivery. Gave them the correct address, they misread it. Went to the wrong location. Then told me I was«too far.» After the delivery man was already«on the way» and I had been waiting for OVERANHOUR. Dropped a pin via iMessage to delivery man, still no reply. Had to go into restaurant to demand a refund; owner was very slow to do so. Never tasted the food but the service is ATROCIOUS.

I am going to round up to 4 stars because of the following… the people are super nice, they have no problems cooking to order so yes you can have it your way. They got an «A» rating from the board of health(more important than you may think). The food is not greasy(although I never got anything fried from them) or too salty and they have some decent meatless options. All in all a hole in the wall but a proper hole in the wall.

This place is okay — just okay. It’s not the best Chinese food in the hood, but it’s closer than Kum Kau and Happy. Still, the proprietors are very, very nice. They’ve treated me well on numerous occasions.

Typical greasy Chinese food– that will hit the spot if you’re looking to satisfy a craving; especially if you’re not feeling too particular about it having gourmet flavor or aesthetics. OH and the delivery guy was really nice.

Love this place because it’s always open and super close to my work. The prices are hilariously cheap compared to some of the restaurants on Fulton(and the food doesn’t always measure up anyways!) I’m a devotee of the General Tso chicken, which is drenched in sauce, but delicious nonetheless. I love that I can get a huge portion of chicken with rice, an egg roll, and a canned drink for less than $ 7.00. Special dinner plates with a drink run at $ 8.50. Not much to be seen inside — one table with benches and an ATM, but I’m not going for ambience. Service is very prompt and the staff is friendly enough. Couldn’t ask for more from a typical neighbourhood Chinese place.

I lived by this restaurant for many years and feel like I have to give it one final review. I moved a short while ago and still wish this place was right around the corner from my apartment. First, the lady who works the counter is super nice and tries her best to give you what your order, super accommodating and friendly. She’s there every single day. They also do grub hub for those moments in the month when you don’t have cash. Food wise I’ve had everything under the sun and it hits the spot for that cheap chinese food craving. I topped off all my food with a bit of sriracha and it was a perfect meal. My favorites were the garlic dishes. There was this garlic spicy tofu dish and sometimes I would get the white sauce dishes. All the soups were great and you get a ton of food for the price. They recently raised their prices but they are the cheapest you’ll find in not only the neighborhood but anywhere between South Park slope and north brooklyn. I love this place

this is one of FOUR chinese restaurants in a 2 block radius from me. definitely the cheapest(just by a quarter or two, for their lunch special) but also the most disappointing. service is good/average and i wish i could comment more positively, but their food really loses on taste. i usually get their general tso’s chicken — so overly drenched in sugary sauce that not even stirring it into rice can overcome the tacky sweetness. also, their home made ice tea is sweeter than anything i’ve ever tasted. in my life. get it for a dare, but avoid it at all cost otherwise.

It seriously is a typical chinese take out place. It’s a little dingy on the inside with an ATM machine for convenience. Still, I didn’t come here for the ambiance. The lady took our order and relayed it back to us, which I appreciated. We didn’t wait too long for our food — just a quick lap around the block to enjoy the coming summer weather, and our food was ready! I had the mongolian beef, my brother had the garlic chicken, and we both shared an appetizer of cheese wontons. Our order came with a free can of soda — so we got canned seltzer water. I was a little sad that the mongolian beef I got didn’t come with ginger — but supposedly you’re supposed to ask for it in there when you order, so now I know better for next time. Food was typical chinese food fare — maybe a little less sloppy and greasy tasting as normal. Great for when you’re lazy and want a tasty, fast meal.

easily the worst chinese food i’ve ever had. zero flavor. the fried rice was no where near fried rice and i’m pretty sure the broth in the wonton soup was yellow water.

Typical neighborhood chinese takeout. I use to come here all the time as a teenager and get chicken wings and french fries. Sometimes I would get egg rolls or pork fried rice. Ms. Lau was known to everyone in the community. I’m not sure if she’s still there. If your hungry the food here will do but don’t run here expecting deliciousness.
