Crazy Dough’s Pizza is not very good and there are no two ways around it. Sure, they come up with creative toppings, but the execution of their ideas is terrible. They always put way too much sauce on everything, and this makes the already undercooked crust soggy. Sometimes, the center of the pie is raw. The only redeeming quality is that Crazy Dough’s is close to me and cheap, but honestly, I would rather have Domino’s.

What a great find! Driving home after a full morning of swimming, both young boys are starving. Pull in here, sit in the window overlooking the train yard and enjoyed frame at pizza! Bbq pizza was fantastic and the boys loved the crust. Well done!

Something definitely changed within the last year … I remember having crazy doughs BBQ chicken pizza last summer and was blown away at how awesome it wAs. Ordered a meat lovers, buffalo chicken pizza and Caesar salad tonight and was extremely disappointed. The delivery took roughly 50minutes which ok, I get it it’s a Friday night but the pizza was luke warm at best. The meat lovers pizza tasted like it came out of a stop and shop frozen pizza box, it was blah. It wasn’t crunchy or crispy, which are two big disappointments. Then the Caesar salad… It was huge with only one tiny dressing cup(which isn’t the end of the world but still need some dressing on your salad) I took a big olé first bite and as I chewed I had the feeling of chewing dirt particles between my teeth. It was absolutely disgusting. I don’t if the lettuce was dirty? I honestly can’t think of what else could have given the gritty feeling between my teeth. Sadly, the Caesar went to waste and my favorite food of pizza deeply disappointed me tonight. There are many options in Brighton for great pizza and sadly crazy dough is no longer one of them.

Oh, Crazy Dough’s Pizza is the bomb. I just ordered their cheese and pepperoni pizzas. They were amazing, way above average. The service & staff were all on point. The only gripe I have is their prices are high for pizza $ 17 for an 18″ cheese pizza. I also had just and OK salad which was way overpriced for the small portion I got and with skimpy toppings. This is a Pizza place! My opinion: Pizza is above average and tastes amazing. Cons: Prices are very high. Salads kinda suck don’t order.

Ordered delivery for my office and the delivery came so quick and everything was hot and fresh. Such a hit with the whole office due to the many flavors of pizza to choose from.

Pretty average pizza but in a great location right by a train stop and Boston College. Some seating inside and out. Prices are decent and the service is quick. I got two plain cheese slices and they were more than enough. The slices are huge so order accordingly.

The slices of pizza at Crazy Doughs are huge! Definitely a good deal for a few slices, and they offer 15% off to students. Their potato bacon pizza and Hawaiian pizzas are my favorites and their garlic knots are delicious. The service is nice and orders are done quickly. Great place to stop in for a slice or two during lunch.

I’ve been working on BC’s campus for a while, but have never managed to make my way over to Crazy Dough’s for lunch. Today, I decided it was time to try the Pizza. I have slowly been trying all of the Pizza places near campus(during lunches) in an attempt to find my favorite one. The actual restaurant is clean and nice-looking on the inside. I was greeted as I walked up to the counter, and I asked the cashier what deals they had, and generally what people liked(pizza-wise). He recommended either a personal pie or a few slices, and said that they had a special with a free soda. I ended up grabbing a personal bbq chicken pizza, and got 15% off because of my BCID. It took like ten minutes(like he said) for the pizza to be ready for me to take. It came in a little box, and reminded me a bit of a CPK pizza. Overall, it was a good pizza with great sauce, the crust was a bit crispy for me though. UPDATE: I’ve gone back a number of times, and just had their regular(not personal) slices, which I like a lot. The price is definitely the best for a few slices(especially w/BC ID) if you compare it to Pino’s or any of the other popular pizza places near campus.

I have ordered from Crazy Dough’s before and the food was expensive but good so I decided to treat myself today. It’s too bad because the food here is really good. However, I recently got a delivery order and it was horrible. The food was cold, the guy messed up the liter of soda with the wrong one, I had put in the order that I was paying with cash and I asked for $ 2 back and he didn’t have any change. I had to give him a $ 5 tip for sub par service and his attitude was cold and uncaring. Sorry Crazy Dough’s, but I will not be ordering from you again.

Ordered for delivery last night with my roommate and a friend. We ordered around 6:15, and our order did not arrive until 8:30. We called after the first hour and they assured us our order was almost here. We called twice after this and they did not answer the phone. When our order finally arrived, there was a hole at the bottom of my calzone and all of the toppings had fallen out into the box. There was no cheese in the calzone… at all(or in the box with my other toppings). I also paid a dollar extra to add a topping which they did not add. They must have forgot it with the cheese. I may have been a little more forgiving if it had been two hours late and enjoyable. After this entire ordeal, my roommate informed me that this is actually the third time this has happened to her. Will not be ordering from them again. Only giving them one star because zero isn’t an option.

Terrible — tasted fake. Most frozen pizzas are better than this. Definitely not using homemade or fresh ingredients in their pizzas. Greek salad though somewhat fresh, was tiny and overpriced.

Last night I ordered from crazy doughs. I’ve ordered from there before and it was pretty good. For this specific order, I called for delivery and it was nothing but trouble from the start. The person on the phone was preoccupied and in the middle of my order took another call without telling me to hold or even putting me on mute to tell that customer to hold. All I wanted was 2 pizzas. Then as I am trying to get their attention, another person gets on the phone. I tell them my order– a personal cheese pizza with hamburger, pepperoni and black olives and then a personal size Tuscan tomato basil. Not a hard order to complete. I was blown away it was over $ 20 when it should have been around $ 15. After waiting 45 minutes my pizzas came and I was so disappointed. They gave us a personal size cheese pizza(with none of the toppings I asked for) and 12 inch Tuscan tomato basil. Sure, they got the last pizza right but not the size which probably was why it was so much more in the final cost. The fact that the attention to detail was lacking bothered me. I remember specifically repeating my order to the person on the phone when in actuality, they should have done that. What is most frustrating is that it was a Monday night and not a busy Friday night. There isn’t an excuse for mistakes like this and I am likely not going to recommend this restaurant to friends nor do I think I will end up going back.

Literally the worst gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. Ever. Seriously, so bad. I just wasted $ 25 on something that I am putting in the trash.

Do you like salt? And do you like uncooked dough? If you answered yes to both questions, then I have THEPIZZAPLACEFORYOU! I must have drank a gallon of water after eating at the Crazy Dough’s by Boston College. Everything, from their pizza to their garlic knots, was undercooked. Which meant that I had to really like chewy dough. And everything was so heavily salted that the undercooked dough tasted delicious! It was a strange experience eating something that you knew shouldn’t be good, taste good because there was so much salt on it. Definitely skip this location unless you’re high as a kite, drunk as a skunk, or just stupid like my family was last night. Pro tip: BC students get a 15% discount, so make sure that if you don’t bother listening to my advice, at least save yourself a few bucks.

Five stars, if you’re a BC student. Probably four stars if you’re not. They give 15% off to all non-BC students. This really helps my almost daily meals there stay cheap. Their salads, sandwiches, and pizza are all pretty good and not too expensive. My one beef with Crazy Dough’s: for orders over 75 $ they charge an automatic 15% gratuity for delivery, which I think is unreasonable. We ordered about nine dressed-up pizzas for $ 150. We asked it to be delivered about ½ mile away from the store. They were about to charge us nearly $ 25 for a very easy delivery that would’ve taken them maybe, maybe 10 minutes total. I talked to the manager about this policy. She doesn’t think it’s unreasonable. We ended up borrowing a friend’s car just to avoid this outrageous delivery fee. 15% is what a waitress gets for doing an ok job of waiting on you for an hour – not a deliveryman who drops off your pizza in a few minutes!

I have been to Crazy Doughs probably about five times now. Today, I went and got one roast beef slice and one balsamic glaze slice. It is now 3am and I have been running to the bathroom all night. This means that 20% of the times I have been to this location I have gotten ill from the food. I’m not looking forward to running all of my errands tomorrow. I’m a student on a budget and I probably only get take out twice a week. It sucks that ones of the only times I will be getting take out I had to get sick from it. My stomach is quite strong and I rarely get stomach sick. I will probably skip this place for a while until I forget about this incident. I think it was the roast beef slice. The roast beef was rougher than usual.

Right next to Boston College and VERY decent pricing compared to campus! The pizza is really good and the staff is nice. Very tiny dining area, but I’m not going to ding for that.

Growing up around all the mom and pop pizza places here and realizing how crappy franchises like Papa Ginos and Pizza Hut were as I got older, I was very skeptical of this place with the stupid franchisey name. Although I had long wondered why a pizza place never attempted to set up shop in the shadow of BC, I had always hoped for an independent one. Although as I’ve gotten older I don’t eat as much pizza, I have to report that this place is not bad at all. Plenty of creative slice options always on hand. Also like the option for wheat crust and different types of sauce. Overall not as greasy as many places too, which is good. My only wish is that they could be open later than 11pm on the weekends to satisfy those midnight cravings.

The crust here is a bit thin and tough for my taste. Did the gluten over-develop? I preferred the Potato Bacon Cheddar to the Eggplant Roasted Red Pepper. The bbq chicken calzone was stuffed full and had a tasty sprinkling of parmesan on top. It was served with your choice of dipping sauces — I went with the marinara. Service was friendly enough, but if they were more organized, they’d have put the calzone in the oven first. My pizzas were out and sitting there for several minutes while waiting for the calzone go rotate and bake a few more rounds. POTATOBACONCHEDDAR A white pie topped with mozzarella, seasoned red bliss potato, smoked bacon and finished with scallions and freshly shredded cheddar. Best served w/Ranch dressing on the top or side. #1 Customer Favorite! $ 6.50/ $ 9.75 /$ 19.25 Personal 10″ /12″ /18″ EGGPLANTROASTEDREDPEPPER Our signature tomato sauce, mozzarella, breaded Italian eggplant and fire-roasted red peppers. $ 6.50 /$ 9.75 /$ 19.25 BBQ Chicken Calzone Italian chicken, red onion, smoked bacon, BBQ sauce & mozzarella … $ 7.75 Crust comes in White or Stone Ground Wheat. I preferred the white. Bathrooms are available in the back past the counter seats and the soda fountain.
