This place has horrible customer service and definitely does NOT deliver on time. I have ordered from there now 5 times and each time it has been at least an hour delivery after being told a 30 – 40 minute wait. This place is in Oak Square and I live in Packard’s Corner. The last few times after it being over an hour and 20 minute wait and our food arriving cold I received free pizza coupons which was my only reason for continuing to order(hey, its free). This last time the coupon I received had exceed the max usage and after calling the branch and explaining my situation he said I needed to try again. I had been trying for 5 minutes and had multiple people try and type in the code. I was told there was nothing they could do and they wouldn’t give us a new code. My boyfriend then called and they actually tried to help him by giving 2 more codes to try none of which worked. We were then told there was nothing that could be done. I don’t expect a lot from chain restaurants but seriously? If you’re going to offer something to someone because you messed up royally don’t continue to give them expired and already used coupons and blame the recipient for them not working.

Decided to get some late night munchies at Papa John’s last night. Showed up 10 minutes before they closed and luckily they had a pie for us. The staff there seemed pretty friendly. However, this must have been the saltiest pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had. I’m usually a Dominos guy and it looks like I’m going to stay that way.

2.5 stars would be my real rating. Its a chain, there is nothing special about them. No fantastic people, nothing that makes them better than another pappa johns, but there are better pizzas to be found a few steps down the street.(Just saying)

Submitted a pick up order through online and the whole process went very smoothly. When I went to the store, my pizza was ready to be picked up. I don’t live nearby Brighton so I don’t know what this chain is like with their delivery services but if you want to do a pizza pick up order, then I highly recommend! They usually have special offers on their website so make sure to check out their deals first before ordering!

This is the best for franchise Pizza period! The staff is always super friendly and has my order to perfection. Nasir is the man! He is quick to resolve issues and very professional! Delivery is not available where I live, but I have no problem going to this Papa Johns to get treated so well!

The pizza is always hot… they just don’t deliver to us which makes me sad, so we have to pick it up… Staff inside place is fine. not the most pleasant, but not terrible. Overall, it is fine… Papa Johns is Papa Johns, not much to complain about… but nothing to rave about :)

What is it with Papa John’s? After waiting an hour and a half plus for a lukewarm pizza and cold breadsticks, needless to say, we will never be using this location again. Management is horrible, and clearly their delivery people aren’t that skilled. With so many other options in this area Papa Johns needs to step up their game. The pizza(especially when cold) isn’t even that great. Personally, I would love my money and my time back

We always order our fast food pizza from this Papas. It is the best fast for type pizza out there. It is always fresh and the crust is doughy on the inside and crispy on the out. I give it 3 stars for the wait times. for delivery and pick up. It is mostly late or we are waiting in our car for it to be ready. I do it though because we like the fresh ingredients and we like the taste. Not to mention it is CHEAP! Not cheap on ingredients but cheap cost wise. If you get coupons you can feed five hungry kids and 2 adults for $ 10 no kiddin,’ Please work on your efficient and on time delivery. You would rock if ya’all could fix this issue.

Honestly, for what it is, I have to give Papa John’s 5 stars. Great website, very prompt delivery, and everything in the order was correct. I also placed the order on a snowy night so the timely delivery was even more impressive. First time I’ve tried Papa John’s and for late night drunchies I’ll definitely be ordering it again!

I’m giving them 1 star because it’s the lowest score that I can give them. I just spent an hour waiting on an order that never came. An hour waiting in anticipation for a delivery that I was assured would make it to me in a timely fashion. Know what happened? Got a call after an hour of waiting telling me that they don’t deliver to my location, even though they are a mere 4 miles away from me and the closest restaurant to me.

Papa John’s used to be one of my favorite pizza to-go places. They always have new deals and have a good selection. However they do litter your front door with flyers 1 – 2 times a week which is a bit annoying. Recently I have been unhappy with my pizzas. The crust seems different, lacking flavor, lacking ay sort of crispy goodness — basically it has become lack luster. One of my orders was not even cooked through! The staff said«your pizza looks a little undercooked. Sorry» Um, what?! I just learned they are under new management. Hopefully they realize there short comings and get back to the pizza I remember.

Ordered online twice from this Papa John’s and did carryout.(Carryout is the way to go guys.) No problems, delays, or horror stories after each visit. The people at the cash register have been consistently friendly and the pizza is always piping hot when I get it. Let’s keep it that way Papa John’s. The Parmesan bread sticks here are great! A lot better than one of the Dorchester ones. And the spicy italian sausage pizza is great too!

This rating is more for the service/delivery NOT the quality of food. For its food I give it 4 star rating for its quality and consistency. I have eaten Papa Johns pizza for over 12 years(it was my first American pizza) but the quality has been good throughout, never had any trouble. The delivery at this location has been a hit or a miss for a LONG time. Sometimes it’s on time even in bad weather(After Nemo– 60 mins) and sometimes it takes them over 2 hrs to deliver with good weather and driving distance of about 1 mile. So in end pizza is good but if u r starving and craving Papa Johns maybe u should do a pickup or order 2 hrs in advance. Oh have to say the garlic sauce is to die for. Just wish they could add more without charging extra.

I was driving through town and always wanted to try a Papa John’s, there’s only on street parking(good luck with that) so I had to park illegally for 25 minutes to wait for my carryout order, I went with the large 5 sausage special, it was decent not great a little pricey and an order of hot wings, when I got home I realized they gave me honey bbq wings instead which were good but TINY not a value, kind of a crummy neighborhood as I don’t like being solicited for SPARECHANGE…

If I could give less than one star, I would. Always takes at least an hour, they always screw something up, no one is ever helpful. We once went in 40 minutes after placing an online order and then waited(in store) because they said they didn’t have our pizza order and were making a new one. After 15 minutes, they found the pizza we ordered, sitting on a rack that ha been there the whole time. So, over an hour later, we walked out with our now ice cold pizza. There are always at least four people working and usually one person at LEAST is doing nothing and no one ever gives you a straight answer. I have a coupon for a free pizza there that I will not be using. Even for free food, it isn’t worth the hassle.

Last night, I had one of the stupidest conversations of my entire life. I called Papa John’s solely because I had a coupon for a free medium pizza, and who doesn’t like free pizza? So, I placed my order for a medium pizza with tomatoes and onions. When I went to pick it up, the following conversation ensured with the employees(two of them). Me: I’m sorry, but this isn’t what I ordered. I asked for tomatoes and onions. #1: There’s onions on that. Me: Yes, but there’s also some sort of meat. #1: No, there isn’t. Those are tomatoes, and there are onions under the cheese. Me: Yes, but there is meat on this pizza. The pizza I ordered had no meat. #2: You’ll definitely taste the onions. Me: I believe you that there are onions on the pizza. But see this?(pointing). That’s meat. I ordered a pizza without meat. #1: I don’t want to stick my fingers in your pizza. #2: Yeah. Me: Agreed. But… never mind. Whatever. I give up. And, when I got home, I enjoyed a delicious pizza with tomatoes, onions, and HAM. Which is not onions. So, I have to say, I’m a little concerned that two different employees didn’t understand that phrase«There isn’t supposed to be meat on this pizza» and kept talking about onions. Ham is not onions, people. The pizza was tasty, but the customer service left much to be desired. If I were actually a vegetarian(or Kosher), there would have been a problem. Also, the website said that it was .5 miles from my address to the store, so, since it was rush hour, I decided to walk. Unfortunately, the website lied, and it was actually .9 miles each way. So, you may want to double check Google maps before setting out. I don’t mind walking 1.8 miles, but I don’t really want to carry a hot pizza close to a mile in the cold. I highly doubt I would go back without another coupon.

Do not order from here. Look at how many 1-star ratings there are. That means it’s a deep-seeded problem and not just one person’s bad experience. As for me, I ordered 2 pizzas, they tried to charge me for 3, I caught it, they fixed it, I tipped the driver $ 5, he lied and added $ 5 to the CC receipt as well. When I later noticed the error I called to resolve it the guy said it was hearsay and it would be a huge hassle to fix for just $ 5. And on and on and on. DON’T ORDERFROMTHISPLACE. YOU’VEBEENWARNED.

ugh. today will be the LAST time i ever order from this shit hole. which is a shame really, because i actually really do enjoy their pizza(and its freaking cheap!), but i can no longer put up with the utter imbeciles that run the place. just under 2 hours to get my order… instead of the toppings that i actually ordered(and paid for) i got plain cheese. the extra sauce that i ordered and paid for didnt make it either. lesson learned.

I can honestly say this is the worst run pizza place I’ve ever ordered from. I don’t even say that with anger or harbor any bitterness towards the place; it’s just repeatedly displayed ineptitude at receiving an order, completing it successfully, and delivering it to customers. The first time I ordered from here, the delivery boy got lost and it took 2 and a half hours to get our pizza(fortunately the manager let us have the cold pizza for free). The second time I ordered, the order was at least correct but it took around 1.5 hours to receive it(my house is a 5 minute drive from the location). The last time that my friends and I ordered from here, they not only screwed up the order, but LEFTTHEPAN that they cook the garlic bread INSIDETHEBOX. We called to tell them about the wrong order and pan, and they said they would fix the order and pick up their pan, free of charge. They then delivered THESAMEWRONGORDER. So it essentially took them 2.5 hours to deliver the same wrong order twice and pass a pan back and forth with us. Also, this is the only Papa John’s I’ve visited but the pizza here essentially tastes like Domino’s with garlic sauce on the side. Personally, I think Domino’s is gross and therefore I wasn’t all that impressed with Papa John’s taste either. The toppings didn’t taste as «fresh» as the commercials make it sounds… they taste like chain pizza toppings. I don’t see why you wouldn’t just order from Brickhouse down the street unless you love drowning your crust in garlic butter.
