Love the fact that I came in on a day that they had the 40% off sale on everything. The women here were so upbeat and passionate about their products I had to leave with something. I ended up signing up for their membership and left with a full bag of awesome products they recommended. Will be coming back.

I had a membership card yesterday and the employee said it’s 2 dollars so I bought it. I tried to make sure so I asked twice. After I came home and I found out it’s 10 dollar on the recipes. I called the customer service and they said it’s never 2 dollars. I’m not so concerned about the 8 dollars, but I think they shouldn’t be lying to me. I’m pretty mad at this. BEWAREOFTHEMEMBERSHIP!

Came here for the first time today and bought a tea tree oil and a seaweed face mask. The two ladies were nice but one messed up on the register and charged me for a vitamin e serum and a bannana shampoo that I never even purchased. The lady then proceeded to tell me to do a membership card. The lady never told me it was an extra $ 10. Had i Known i would not have done it. Most people tell customers that a membership card costs money. This whole time I believed it to be free. Tried to cancel the membership card to get a refund but was told I could not do so… Beware customers!!! Added one star for the products. The tea tree oil smelled good and seemed to do wonders for my skin

I had such a good time shopping here!!! I normally just use Unilocal to check out new places to eat, but after coming here I just had to. Catrina and Katie were so welcoming to my daughter and I. Normally when I go into stores with my 5yr old, the sales people look at me wearily. Not only did they greet us both warmly, but Katie treated my daughter to a bit of pampering while I shopped. Catrina was so knowledgeable on both the products and didn’t try to pressure me into buying anything. She was able to address all of my concerns while helping me save with the rewards card. I can’t wait until they start having their workshops! I really appreciate how she was honest in her selection of products and how carefully she was able to explain the steps of skincare to me. All this time I had never used toner, now I see how much using it has shrunken my pores! Once you get past your 30s investing in good skincare is important. I will not be going anywhere else for my skin. Next time, I think I will try the shampoo and makeup :-)

Probably the best customer service I’ve had in years. I was that pain in the butt customer with three groupons that all had to be used individually and I was trying to out how to combine the membership discount with the groupon. Not only did the two girls working at the shop treat me like gold, but they helped a sister out with suggestions on how to best combine the membership and groupon deals to get the most bang for my buck. When I checked out, they were both very patient and accommodating, ringing up each of my items separately so I could get the best price. And they did it all with smile. I highly recommend The Body Shop in the Brea Mall – the customer service is amazing!

I love the body shop. In fact i recently began shopping here more often so im glad i did purchase the reward card since i already got my money back through my savings already. Heres my reason for the 2 stars… For as much as they push the rewards card then they should really suggest us spending a lil more money and get out points. Example: my purchase came out to $ 43 before taxes; through the rewards program that qualifies me for 1 point. But if i spent $ 7 more i get 2 points. Strike 2: i purchased a $ 26 vitamin E serum… i walked into another store(same day) and i see my SAME serum in a gift bag with the Vitamin E night cream for $ 30. So the sales associate didnt even tell me «hey if u spend $ 4 more u get the night cream that is usually $ 20» Whats the point of my rewards card if the sales associates arent experienced in suggestive selling. if its gonna be best for the customer? im not saying overwhelm me with products but if its only $ 5 say something! ive spent so much and only have 2 points. Employees need to be educated on the points system. The employee here told me my $ 43 purchase would give me 2 points. not true unless i would have done 2 separate $ 20 purchases.

Rude employees. Absolutely unprofessional. One time I went into the store to check out some body butters and I wasn’t even greeted; they just briefly glanced my way. A few minutes after I entered, two girls came in. They were greeted and told about sales and promotions. They left and got a: Thanks for coming in, without buying anything. When I left, it was like I wasn’t even there. The second time I went, people were already in there. The employees were just standing at the cashier or sitting at a chair just talking about their own personal lives. When I asked them about a price, they replied in an annoyed tone and didnt even look at me. I was ticked off by then so I put back the things i was going to buy and left. This has happened to me numerous of times alone, with my parents, and friends. Unbelievable.

The Body Shop is my favorite place to purchase quality skincare products. Initially, the prices might seem a bit much, but they always have sales and buy 3, get 2 free deals. With a combination of deals, each item averages to about $ 10. The rewards card is also awesome and well with the $ 10 annual fee. Some of my favorite products here come from the Brazil nut line, the peach line, the tea tree products, and the vitamin e products. I was also intrigued by their wild argan oil line, but I’ll have to try it next time!

I love the Butter Creams but I Hate going in the store because the always try to make me buy the discount card I mean first of all why do I need to pay for coupons and if I say no they don’t have to ask 5 times after that do they get a bonus for offering the card or what’s the deal with that

I came by Monday evening and the team working was very unprofessional and gave no attention to anyone in the store. I heard so many great things about TBS from my friend and wanted to buy a couple items but wasn’t greeted or even looked in the eyes by any of the 3 ladies working. They were too busy discussing one of their perspiration issues.

I haven’t been in The Body Shop since high school, but was drawn into the great deals for the holiday season. It was a fine experience for the purchase, not particularly helpful but not very difficult experience. I purchased a few things for gifts but unfortunately had to exchange a couple of items. When I returned for the exchange is when the experience turned into a negative one. The sales person was quite unpleasant and kept just telling me what I could not exchange for rather than suggesting options for the exchange. Really uncomfortable, especially since she kept talking loudly across the store at me, rather than coming closer to tell me things. She made me feel like it was some sort of personal attack on the sales person because the items I had purchased didn’t meet my expectations. It’s unfortunate as the company seems to advertise themselves as customer service oriented and community service focused. Basically, be careful when purchasing from there and pay attention to return criteria before buying anything, as the return/exchange here is unnecessarily confusing and unpleasant and clearly, customer service goes out the window. They lost a possible long term customer and I’m going to be spreading the word of this experience to everyone I know who expects good customer service from from the beginning to the end of the purchasing experience.

I don’t usually go inside The Body Shop stores because nothing goes on and items tend to be expensive but somehow this store captivated me and drew me in. We entered to look at the gift sets on the table. We were pleasantly greeted and asked us if we want to play a game to see what sort of deal we would get for the day. There were so many gift sets with great packaging that it was a bit difficult to choose. We got 50% off on regular purchase excluding the gift set. Awesome deal. Great staff.

The staff here are by far very friendly, professional, and helpful. I always leave here very satisfied, whether i purchase an item or interested in one, they are very helpful in offering samples! Also, if a product does not work well with my skin, they are very helpful in exchanging it, just keep your receipts so you can get your full refund. So my advice is to ask for a sample before investing in it. Tip: on the weekends they have deals. Like buy 1−2−3 get 1−2−3 free; uts random offers. Also, sometimes they have groupon deals. Keep an eye out! :)

I first became a fan of The Body Shop when I was going to school in the UK and have frequented many shops both in England and back here in California and this location is, by far, the friendliest! Their team is incredibly friendly and knowlegeable about their products and they truly create a great atmosphere when you’re shopping. They suggest products and mention sales without pressuring you to buy which is also really awesome. An associate there suggested mixing the floral and fruity body butter scents to create a unique fragrance and I fell in love. I used a ton of their skin care and masks and my current favorite products are their body butters. I think they would have more traffic if the mall directories were updated with their new location as I got a little confused looking for them. They’re on the first floor by Macy’s. :) Happy shopping!

I don’t visit this location much. Compared to others, it seems to be a small shop, but I needed some of that incredible foot scrub and crème so I just popped in while shopping at the Brea mall. Service was good, and what I did not find on the shelf, they went to the back room and pulled out more. Much appreciated! And if you haven’t tried the«foot rescue» line, girl or guy, it’s a must have to revive tired feet and reduce rough spots and callouses. Better than many product lines I have tried.

I love this store. Tina and Karla are so knowledgable, helpful and give great customer service! I live in Orange so I am closer to the Mainplace location but would rather drive to Brea just so Tina or Karla can help me. LOVE them! Definitely see one of them if you need anything or have questions on their products. They are both wonderful!

Best customer service ever. I completely agree with Kris G., not all Body Shops have the same knowledgeable staff or customer service. And I can say with 100% confidence that the staff here offer phenomenal customer service. They go above and beyond to assist you in explaining every product and making sure you are receiving the full benefits of a Body Shop cardmember. Location does make a difference and this place is a kazillion times better than the LA branch in the pico mall. Will definitely be back!

Get a Love Your Body Card and you will get even MORE rewards!!! Woohoo for free stuff!

Why am I writing a review of this place? Two reasons: They use proceeds of beauty products to fight human trafficking! AWESOME They have a membership club($ 10) and you get a free gift of your choice(not from a preselected list, but YOURCHOICEOFANYTHING) for every amount u spend & free birthday item(Again, your choice) and my personal fave: poppyseed hair mask.
