Conveniently located in Branford, right off the highway is this cozy and welcoming salon. I recently visited Robyn and her team for a day of pampering for a wedding I was in and could not have been happier with the end results.
I opted for a natural makeup look but with a little something, and Robyn was able enhance my eyes, and cheekbones without making me look like someone else. She consulted with me what I was comfortable with and ensured I knew what was coming. No surprises! I’ve never had my makeup applied before, but my fellow bridesmaids have, and they couldn’t stop raving on their now flawless skin tones, seductively long eyelashes and perfectly tinted pouts. I took more selfies yesterday and I have in the last 5 years collectively.
Taylor completed my look with a formal updo. How she managed to tame my mane convinced me she’s has some sort of wizardry skills. We went over a few pictures of things I liked and she was able to pull together a classic look that didn’t budge, no matter how hard I did the whip and nae nae. She was efficient, and didn’t have me sitting there for any longer than I needed.
I cannot recommend this salon enough for weddings, and I’m eager to stop by for a regular service in the near future. Go ahead, book your appointment — you won’t be disappointed.
