Burger King

This is really not a great Burger King. I much prefer Wendy’s, but BK is much better than McDonald’s, and I was hungry Saturday around noon, and was getting pizza following going to some places in Weymouth. Consequently, I stopped here. This place is hopping! Huge line at the drive thru, and barely any parking. I just drove around the drive thru and went in, wasn’t going to wait for 10 people to finish their transactions. Interior was brand new and nice, yet it was also quite busy in there, and not a place I’d return out of choice. Staff seemed friendly and their is convenient access to the Pearl Plaza via the South entrance. If you need something quick, this is a fine choice (good food, just don’t expect for the trip to be 2 seconds… be ready for some waiting) for quick food in this section of Pearl Street in Braintree. 3 stars.

Have only gone there twice and both times I was ripped off. I went through the drive-​thru both times and they were horrible! Both times I drove away WITHOUT getting my change back!!! The first time this happened a couple of years ago, I gave them a $ 20 for a $ 5 meal. When you drive up to the window they take your money, close the window, come back with your food and hand it to you, then they close the window again. I drove away forgetting to get my change back. The first time they did this, I turned around and went back and got my change. Today it happened once again, I didn’t realize it until I was too far away to turn around and go back and get my change. I guess what I’m saying is they SHOULD first take your money, then give you your change back BEFORE they hand you your bag food!!! I swear they do this on purpose so they can keep all the money that has been overpaid! Total rip off!!!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. The service sucks, the God is always sloppy, the lines are long and not to mention they charge a 7% sales tax. Isn’t Massachusetts tax 6.25%. Wtf. I would NEVER eat here! Stay away!!!

Barely worth the one star. Worst fast food establishment ever! We waited to order for 10 min and no one even acknowledged us.

This Burger King needs a serious makeover or get out of town. The food is bad, awful customer service, it’s run down, long waiting time. Replace with a Wendy’s Restaurant or anything else but this BK!

This is by far the worst bk experience I have ever had. I’ve had past experiences where they have messed up or gave me a wrong order and at other locations it’s still good. The bun on my sandwich was rock hard, I would have thrown it clear across the restaurant but feared breaking a window. The ketchup might as well have been tomato soup, and all of their flavored sodas have run out.

I wouldn’t really call it «fast food» if it takes 15 – 20 minutes to get an order under $ 10 done mid-​day when there is no crowd.

The manager was very conscientious and accommodating. The food was as good as any Burger King. Perhaps is the timing but this visit to a Burger King was very satisfying.

place was empty, no cars in the drive-​in, yet i waited 5 min for someone to show up. i could see someone fiddling this his iPod without glancing at the corner. Once someone else showed up, service was quick, although the veggie burger i ordered was dry, leathery — the worst ever at any BK (usually they are great). Had a bit of a tummy ache shortly after.

I’ve been in Braintree for a decade, and it amazes me this place has been this bad for this long. I go back about once a year, at this point more to see if they have changed than anything else. While I am hardly a BK Gourmet, the occasional Whopper hits the spot. Well this is NOT the spot to get it.
The floors are consistently dirty, sticky, or greasy; and many times a physics defying mixture of the three. That being said… the floors are the high point of this BK. The counters are unclean, the condiment area a mess. I understand these are high traffic areas and need to be kept after constantly to be clean, but what the management needs to understand is: THESE ARE HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS AND NEED TO BE KEPT AFTER.
While on the subject of management, well… they don’t appear happy in their position, and that is really the only nice thing I can find to say.
Bottom line the other reviews are correct, this place is bad.

this place is dirty and full of lazy people. My friend and myself were the only ones in line. It took them 3 minutes to even come up to us and we wait a long time for food.

I’ve been here 15 minutes. So far, the cashier walked out, it took 10 minutes for an order of chicken tenders, they ran out of bbq sauce and there is currently a fight going on in the kitchen between two other employees.
On the bright side, surprise onion ring in my fries!

Why did we even bother? Hubs and I KNOW this is the world’s slowest BK. Past visits (and believe me, they have been few and far between) be they drive-​thru or dine-​in/​take-​out have made us want to kill somone just to have something to do while waiting… so why did we ever give it another go recently? Sheer morbid curiousity. Nothing has changed. The drive-​thru wasn’t moving, so we opted for «take-​out». Went in, saw 3 people waiting for food (all looked as though they had been there a while), no food actually coming out of the kitchen, and the manager counting money right on the counter, with little to no regard for any of the customers (including the 2 who just walked in, i.e. us). I think there may have been only 2 other employees. We turned around and walked right out and went to the McD’s up the street (take note, Ron C., if you’re ever in the area again — take a left out of the BK, drive about 2 minutes up the street, comes up on the right). We were in and out of there in no time (with better fries). This BK was, is, and apparently always will be a travesty.

I thought all Burger King Fast Food Chains run the same. Nope not this one. This has to be the slowest Burger King. Their employees look confused & perplexed. Makes me wonder if the owner cares about making money.
