Albertson’s Food & Drug

A run down store with higher than expected prices.

Come on guys, we all know Albertson’s is the hood rat of grocery stores. This Albertson’s, is the hoot rat with the undiagnosed STD. The only reason why I have gone to this travesty was because it’s the last store nb on 527 before 405 and I have forgotten something.
The store smells, the employees are obviously depressed because they all mean mug, and the selection of produce and meat is sub par.
You’re better off heading to QFC or 7 – 11.

I’ve shopped at this Albertson’s locaton almost exclusively for years. It’s by far the best available grocery store near my home.
This particular location recently finished their remodel that all Albertson’s have been doing lately.
And, it’s what cost them a star for me. They changed the recipes and offerings of some of their store name products that we really liked.
They re-​arranged parts of the store and some of it just doesn’t make sense to me. but I’m sure some marketing geek did some survey, somewhere.
I love the self checkout. I’m not a small shopper. A ‘quick’ trip to the store is a couple hundred bucks and at least one full cart for my family. But I still love self check out. I can get in and out faster on my own, even juggling all my shopping onto the small bagging area, than in a line elsewhere.
Another small deduction for not having conveyor belt self checkout like the crappy Albertson’s on Aurora though. That would have made it 100x for me.
Stopping in today for quick ‘storm’ stock ups solidified why I do love this store. My errands took me quickly to a few other places, and in all the ridiculous chaos of it being nearly Christmas and «storm watch» time, this store was the ONLY one without crazy lines and unstocked shelves.
I was in and out with $ 200 worth of stuff in 20 minutes.
For location, employees, service and good sales, this is still a top notch store for ‘just a regular store’ grocery store.
