Super friendly employees. I can’t believe we use to walk here when we were little. I remember on long walks when it would be getting late we would just be praying it was still open! It’s taken over new ownership since back in those days. .but I’m still thankful when it’s been a long day and I need to grab something quick from there. Whether it’s beer, milk, candy, lotto tickets, even a cool seahawks hat. …I am grateful to be able to stop in with ease and and not have to go to the big commercial grocery stores. I’ve even been able to find random stuff I didn’t think I would in there. .items I assumed I would have to hit the big stores for. Always greeted when I walk in, regardless of who’s working… which I think is awesome since although I do stop in now and then I’m not a regular or anything. I think the owners are doing a great job, thanks for the convenience!

Sid’s is always a great place to «stop in» for a quick Red Bull or bag of Doritos, and if it’s coffee you’re after, you can always drive-thru Gourmet Latte on the corner!!!

If only this place had a drive thru option! I passed this place everyday for a year before going inside because the exterior looked shady; however, when I finally went in, out of pure necessity, I found a very clean and diversely well stocked store. The owner/cashier(not sure if he is Sid!) is hilarious and engaging. I feel safe in this store and am so happy to have it near my neighborhood. If you’re looking for basic convenient store items, Sid’s has them. The bonus factor is the booze. Expansive selection of beer and wine. And I think I spotted some cheese in the refrigerator. Don’t be afraid to swing by on your way to a party. Your haul will be well received!

Awesome neighborhood convenient store. Love that they have so many local brews from Georgetown and Fremont. They have Georgetown’s Lucile on tap so it’s great to be able to come here to fill up a growler rather than going all the way down to Georgetown. The owner was making a ton of recommendations and very helpful. Support local!

Great little convenience store. They recently painted the outside a fresh coat and also repaved and painted the parking lot. They have Mac and Jacks on tap and 1 $ off growlers on Mondays. Great friendly service.

Love this place because it is the only thing close to my house and the same guy is always working. They don’t bug you, and there are always different beers to try.

Sid’s has the BEST drinks selection! Both alcoholic & non-alcoholic.

Convenience makes it. You don’t go here for the prices, selection or gourmet items — just basics that you want to get in a hurry at 9:00pm without driving all the way to the grocery for coffee or toilet paper. They have LOTS of cheap beer. And lottery tickets, of course!

This is one of those reviews you write just because you can. There really is not anything that makes SIDS stand out from any other convenience store on earth, except it’s location and it’s longevity. In the only little strip mall off stuffs on my hill,(family owned pizza place, small family owned hair salon, and SIDS) it’s the beacon of the neighborhood for all the shit you just need now and don’t want to travel«into town» for. My kids and their friends walk here multiple times a week for treats after school or on weekends. More than once, when a group of kids comes up short on their purchases(big eyes, small wallets), random patrons or the owner will often«spot» the kids the difference. It was exactly the same way when I was a kid and came here. The employees are the owners, their family and a few neighborhood folks who’ve all been there a good long while. And it shows. They know the names, lives, and ‘favorite brands’ of all the regular customers. They are, after all, neighbors-literally and figuratively. I do hope SIDS remains a part of my neighborhood for a long time to come.
