I’m 8 months pregnant and we spent over $ 30 on our breakfast there and Amed at the register refused to give us a cup of water because«he is trying to make money» excellent costumer service!(Sarcasm)

Pretty good bagel sandwich with cream cheese, lox, capers, tomato and onion. Appreciated how quickly the line moved on a busy Saturday morning!

Favorite place to get salmon bagel in Boston. I’ve just had my 15th or so in the past few years now. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I couldnt possibly think of how to have a bad experience at a place where you get delicious bagel sandwiches and refillable coffee. I also love that the employees are from diverse backgrounds and that the establishment has a socially aware employment process.

Bruegger’s has some of the best bagels and specialty cream cheeses I’ve ever had. I eat their bagels several times a month and have never had a bad experience.

I think this Bruegger’s is just ok. It’s fairly large with a lot of seating, and the inside and always nice and clean. It’s nothing spectacular but I come here fairly often when I want my bagel fix. They have a good selection of bagels even in the afternoon after the lunch rush. The bagels themselves are not bad — pretty average as far as bagels go. The staff here are all very nice but they just generally seem really poorly trained and very sloppy. Bagels are just carelessly tossed into the slicer and just cut poorly — I’ve had bagels where the top is a thin sliver and the bottom is 90% of the bagel, or bagels that come out completely slanted. Cream cheese is so weirdly done — each one has a little ice cream scoop in it. The presence of the ice cream scoops makes the staff think that assembling a sandwich is just scooping everything onto a bagel like an ice cream sundae and then smashing the top half of the bagel down. Some staff will schmear it well, but some of the newer? lazier? staff will literally just plot a giant scoop of cream cheese onto the bagel and smoosh it down with the other half, no manual labor of spreading at all. Always makes me cringe and results in a smashed bagel with very poor cream cheese distribution and just bad proportions. I guess you can make the argument that you’re getting your money’s worth(a small scoop of cream cheese is like a whole half inch on the bagel) but if that’s not your jam, might want to look elsewhere.

12/27/2015. 120pm. Quite possibly the angriest crew in the restaurant industry. The lady making the sandwiches mumbles so you couldn’t hear her, and gives you a scary stare if you request her to repeat herself in a decibel normal people can hear. Don’t try greeting them a good cheer. It is Christmas season after all. They look annoyed when you do that. The food is ok. But I’m genuinely sad after I met the three angriest people this holiday season. Is there a rating less than one star?

Excellent spot to get bagels in Boston, I see they have many locations…- I’m not sure how they make them differently from the NYC bagels which are more dense and chewy-these are fluffy and bread-like inside. Not what I’m used to getting for a bagel but delicious! Got some cute touristy pictures outside this location too, with the green awning in the background. The coffee is very good.

I come here every morning since my office is right around the corner. First things first, in the morning rush, why in the world is there always only ONE cashier? This seems so counterproductive to getting things done. I have been there a couple times when there was two people cashing out customers, but it is very rare. And also people are not given bags for their items unless they ask for them, or VERY rarely when the cashier asks if you want one. This should be standard to get a bag for your item, unless you say you do not want one. Next thing, my order has been wrong various times here and it is always shrugged off and just dealt with. I am never quiet when ordering because it is loud and busy in the morning, and my order seems to get bunched up at least twice a month. I KNOW, I KNOW it is not a lot but still, service is important and order accuracy is included. I cannot have cream cheese(OHHOW I WISH I COULD) and they always seem to put cream cheese on my bagel instead of the butter or other condiment I order. Over all it is not a bad place, just needs some tweaking!

Had the turkey harvest sandwich toasted on wheat bread — sooooo gooood! A guy in training helped me and did a great job. Service was fast and my food was awesome. I’ll totally come back for lunch and maybe try a breakfast sandwich on my way to work…

I come to the city(From The Cape) almost once a week to visit my boyfriend in school. Brueggers is a must. Bacon egg and cheese on a cinnamon sugar bagel is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this cute little place! Definite five stars

Given the location and the number of random tourists cycling through here all day, I expected to find a messy eating area and down in the dumps staff. I’ve come here many times over the last several years and the place is spit spot clean and tidy, the staff are extremely friendly, and the bagels and coffee are reliably good.

Nice place for bagels in the morning. It was right outside our hotel. It was actually pretty comparable to the bagels in NY that I’m used to. I would have given them 4 stars had they actually gotten my order right(one of the bagels was missing the egg). I also found it a bit odd that I had to tell the cashier exactly what I ordered(all 6 specialty bagels). You’d think the person making my bagels would tell her. Nonetheless, the bagels weren’t bad at all.

The location of this place is pretty good. Its around the corner from the orange line off of State. We went here right after a red eye flight and just wanted a simple breakfast. The wait was pretty long for a bagel and cream cheese. My bagel was made quickly, and then I waited at the cash register for a while because no one was there. I also ordered a coffee. Everything I ordered was very bland and the bread was hard and old.

These reviews are so scathing! I can only comment on the coffee, which was just fine to me. I had a mix of the french toast and regular coffee, and I really enjoyed it. It was dark without being too bitter, although I did add some milk to cut through any bitterness. I did think the service at the counter was too rushed, so my review went from 4 stars to 3 stars. The man behind me was basically pushing me out of the register area, and I can’t stand places where I don’t get to put my change into my purse without someone being rude next to me. I asked the cashier if it was always like this and she didn’t really get the joke… I could have used her saying ‘take your time’ or something. Anyway, a little uncomfortable, but still okay!

They make a good breakfast sandwhich. I got the benedict. They do serve a better breakfast than subway, but I wouldn’t call this a breakfast place exactly. You can watch them cook the eggs fresh sometimes and they don’t seem to import them freeze dried like other places, but I wouldn’t say it is the best quality either. The price is the worst. You will spend over $ 4.50 for that sandwhich and with a water and tax it is over 7 dollars, which is very expensive for the average quantity that they give you. I can understand why a lot of people hate this place, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. They do serve you quickly so I guess that is why my review is higher than the others. I went in when nobody was there, no surprise, I wonder what the service is like when it is busy.

I’m demoting them to one star, because I went again two days ago and the wait was incredibly long for just a sandwich. There were only three people in line ahead of me and it took quite some time for the counter person to figure out how to make my egg salad sandwich on wheat — and I didn’t even get anything extra on it like lettuce or tomato — it was just plain egg salad on two slices of bread. These folks are slo-o-ow! Not only that, but the egg salad tasted rancid and I threw it out after only two bites. What a waste. I want to like this place for its convenience to where I work, but I can’t go back there again. There are other places in the area with much faster service and better-tasting food.

After writing the first review, a marketing manager had contacted me to correct the situation. She had asked me of 2 things, one to give a detailed explanation for her to send to a district manager to properly train the employees. Second, she asked for a mailing address to send some coupons for the previous messed up orders. I am not able to prove if she did or didn’t send my experience to the district manager for better quality control management, but it’s been almost 2 months and I have yet to receive these coupons. Not that I am dying for the coupons, just the fact that someone had contacted me telling me they will do this and had not followed through has made me completely lost hope for Breugger’s. Chances of me returning to Breugger’s? None.

Not the best bagels I’ve ever had. Much smaller than I was expecting actually. I got the everything bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, and a croissant. The croissant was absolutely delicious. Light. Flakey. Just great. The service was great. The everything bagel was extremely disappointing. Very chewy and hard to rip. It also tasted a little funny. I think I’ll come back for a croissant, but not for a bagel.

Bruegger’s Bagel is like Subway but with bagels. I like how you can customize your choice of bagel, cheese, and add whatever you want inside! They even have siracha as one of the sauces! I usually get the breakfast bagel, which comes with sausage, egg, and cheese. They are really quick with the service. The bagel is soft and crispy when it is toasted. I really like the sausage! It is so juicy and flavorful. The egg is also soft and fluffy. Everything just come together and turn into a perfect breakfast bagel-wich! They also have different flavors of coffee such as hazelnut, french vanilla, decaf, and regular. This is a good breakfast spot if you are looking for a quick bite.
