My family and I really enjoy shopping at The Fresh Market in Bonita Springs. They have delicious prepared pasta salads and other prepared items such as Vermont mac and cheese, twice baked potatoes, chicken pot stickers and a great olive bar! The bakery has many fresh choices and you cannot beat the 2.99/lb. chicken breast, ground beef and gallon milk special on Tuesday’s. It’s definitely a pricier option than other stores but there are things there you simply can’t get at other chains. The store is always very clean and their are plenty of employees near by to help.

The store is great overall. But the meat department definitely needs help. Bought«fresh lamb» from them only to discover when I got home that it had already gone bad; it stunk up my whole house, and I had to throw it all away. They did refund my money, though. And every time I’ve bought their sashimi, I bite into it and discover it is still frozen. Their sushi is pretty dodgy too.

It’s a shame, the meat dept, bakery, and cashiers are always great. The Deli, and Management however is terrible. I made my complaints known to the Corporate office, who knows if they’ll care. Whole Foods and Earth Organics are much better choices, and they know how to treat a customer.

The meat department is overwhelmed and either need more help during season, or they need customer service classes. We asked a simple question as to whether or not our chicken can be sliced in half and instead of a yes or no, we received attitude about wanting it cut. HE even stormed of and told someone else to help us. When we discussed it with the manager, he seemed to protect the employee rather than try to correct the situation. Its a shame because we live here year round and like the store, however, Publix and Whole Foods give much better customer service without the sarcasm or attitude.

I was very impressed with this Fresh Market. The employees were very friendly and anxious to help. The layout was pleasant and it was easy to get in and out of the parking lot. We stopped there for a few items and it was the first time I had shopped at a Fresh Market and would shop there again.

Been going here for 5 years off and on. I only buy sealed jar/can goods and bakery items I can’t find at other places. Meat/Seafood — had to call them more then a few times about bad Meat, and I use a cooler bag and ice packs. I don’t understand how it can smell so bad unless its past its date. Deli — watched an employee arranging raw chicken(by hand) then reach in the hot case and start serving without changing gloves bakery — they are very clean and the items are very good. I can’t remember a time they weren’t. Cashiers and costumer service — now I can say it one day they are polite the next they’ll ignore you. Example: I was buying 10 bottles of wine as a gift for a friend the cashier told me if I bought 12 I would get a case discount(10%). So I agreed and bought the 12 the cashier was super nice and helpful at that time. But after I got home later that night I noticed they charged me for the 12 and gave no discount. So I called they told me they would fix the next time I came in, but I didn’t go back in for 3 weeks because I was leaving for a trip, Rhonda then told me it was okay to do it when I got back. When I Returned and went in with my receipt(clear as day no discount). The front end asst. Wouldn’t return the discount and the store manager offered me a five dollar gift card. Something about wine and returning money, I wasn’t returning wine I was wanting my 10% wine case discount. Five dollars wasn’t even close to 10% when I spent 129 $ before taxes on the wine. So I said forget it and I haven’t bought wine, meat, or deli from there since Store — the store is clean I do recommend most baked goods, all can/jars and dry goods(but check the date, sometimes you’ll get something expired, but that’s with any store.)

I enjoy going to the Fresh Market mainly because it’s so aesthetically pleasing to just peruse each aisle before or after picking up the one or two specialty items I came for. The cashiers are always pleasant. However the same cannot be said for the people behind the deli counter. For some reason, whether they’re busy or not I feel like I’m invisible and have to beg for their attention. I have experienced this more than once and at other locations as well. Hmm! I’m perplexed by this Fresh Market deli counter personnel phenomenon! Another thing that bothers me is the small selection of extremely overpriced organic produce and the vast array of conventionally grown produce, also over priced. I prefer to eat my veggies without a side of round up. While I know the name The Fresh Market in no way implies that their products are all organic, it does create a false sense of security and trust. I will continue to visit occasionally for one of their amazing bakery products on special occasions, or for the wine and herb rotisserie chicken that we love so much.

The meat counter attendants are the grouchiest, most sour pussed people I have ever encountered!!! What’s wrong with them??? And it’s NOT just me — several of my friends have voiced the same opinion. If you don’t want to get snared at when buying fresh neat then go to Whole Foods, they are so much nicer to their customers!!! I rarely write bad reviews but I am sick of their crappy attitudes!!! Get another job where you’re not in contact with people if you’re THATMISERABLE!!! I was telling a neighbor about my bad experience at the Fresh Market(Bonita Springs) meat counter, and before I could even finish the sentence, she chimed in recounting her own bad experience at that meat counter. I quote…“they are so bad, I’ll never buy meat there again; from now on I’ll get all my meats at the German butcher shop in Naples. The location isn’t as convenient, but at least I’ll be treated as a welcome customer.”

Upscale grocery store. in Bonita Springs… Found this place while wintering in Florida a couple years ago. The best breads that I have had in florida in a very long time! Fresh veggies, an assortment of deli meats and many cheeses. The meat and seafood counter is FANTASTIC. Worth the few extra bucks. Have good sales… go to web site… we buy sale items… superior to other stores

The Fresh Market is an upscale grocery store — translated — they carry specialty items at expensive prices. So this is not a place to do your regular grocery shopping. That said, this is a wonderful place if you don’t feel like cooking but want a terrific dinner or if you’re hosting and don’t want to turn on the stove. My husband and I have come back here a number of times to get dinner and eat at home. My personal favorite is the salmon but my husband loves the wings. Lots and lots of terrific sides, an impressive wine selection and an unbelievable dessert section. If you’re into organic items, then Fresh Market is the place for you too.

Upscale small quaint grocery/market store. Found this place while vacationing in Estero, Florida a couple of weeks ago. The best crab cakes that I have had in a very long time! Fresh veggies, an assortment of deli meats and many cheeses. The meat and seafood counter is very inviting. Worth the few extra bucks. Will be back in the spring.
