I have lunch at this place at least 4 times a month. Their pizza is always consistence!!!

Been going to this place for over 10 years. Most of the time I get one big pizza for carryout or delivery. The pizza freezes well, so getting a whole pizza will last for lunch days later. I grew up in New York, and this pizza is as good as any classic NY style pizza. My friends from NY also say it’s the best.

Corner slice is a go to for pizza when I’m in the Betheada Area. It is absolutely delicious and the slices are huge. Pricing is pretty good and I think it gives & Pizza a run for its money. This is more of a take out restaruant but it has a few tables.

i got a crappy piece of pizza and a drink for 8.90. #insane the slice was half of what you get at lunch with a drink for 7.00. i guess just go for lunch?

I just tried their pizza for the first time yesterday — definitely the closest to NY I’ve found in the DC region so far. Huge, foldable slices with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. I’ll definitely be back!

This pizza is so freaking fantastic!!! I’m from NY and it reminds me of being home! Owners are awesome too and they know their S*#t about making dough! Great job guys!!!

As a girl from New Jersey I know a thing or two about what to expect from pizza. Their pizza has the right consistency to appear to be NY style, but it’s not a true NY style. It’s okay, definitely one of the better slices I’ve had in the area, but definitely not the best.

I liked this place a lot. I’m a fan of the trendy pizza places like &pizza(DC artisanal pizza chain) and The Upper Crust(Boston-area pizza chain) but this is the best pizza place I’ve been to that isn’t trendy and hipster-like. My pizza was cooked fresh just for us with freshly cut peppers and onions. The sausage was incredible. The pizzas are cut in the typical NY style of being huge and fold-able. The two guys who own this place are there regularly and have been there for 15 years. You don’t survive that long without being good at what you do.

Pretty decent NY-style pizza – the best I’ve had in Bethesda so far. Not the best I’ve ever had, but the staff is friendly and the location is super convenient to me. The pizzas are HUGE(20″?) which make the slices HUGE as well. If you sign up for their emails, you get a free slice. Nothing wrong with that!

We ordered 20 pizzas from these guys for my kid’s 1st birthday party. I chose them because they were closest to the venue but they have a customer for life! Moalst importantly the pizza was amazing — the crust, the cheese, the sauce — all clearly fresh. Asides from the delicious pizzas(we got meat, veggie, pepp, and cheese) the staff was incredibly helpful and flexible. Can’t wait to have this pizza again!!!

Pretty good New York style pizza in a great location. Normally I’ll eat pizza crust and all but I found myself struggling a bit with the slices I bought from them, as the dough seemed a little dry. Toppings are tasty though. The owner is friendly and the place has a bit of a retro feel to it. Good for a quick slice although a little pricey.

The pizza was okay, the owners attitude and the way they treat there stuff was disgusting. He belittled two of the workers in front of everyone.

Every year I purchase pizza from Corner Slice for an office party. I purchase 10 pizzas and most of them are their specialty pizzas. The pizza is really good; I never have anything but great reviews and feedback from everyone. However, this year they no longer take their online coupons which are still on their website for downloading and printing. If they no longer accept them then they need to be taken down from the website. He wasn’t happy when I did give him the coupons and he kept asking are you sure we didn’t talk about a discount over the phone? «No, you did not.» I write everything down for goodness sakes… YOUDIDNOT speak of a discount over the phone. So he did 10% off the whole bill which I believe was wrong, but I wanted out of there as fast as possible so I kept math skills to myself. Also, I am a 24 year old female and when I went to pick these pizzas up I was asked if I was a stripper. The manager literally asked this, hopefully it was in a joking way, however, he did this in front of a group of men. I was so uncomfortable and actually embarrassed which overall made me annoyed and want to instantly cancel the order. The reason why there were so many dollar bills was due to the fact that the pizza party is based on individual monetary donations from everyone partaking. It was a bit odd that he would say that, until I said no, «I am actually a government employee» and he placed on this odd looking smirk. I was over it. I do like to use this company for our annual pizza party but I will send the boys to pick the order up in the future. Regarding the pizza, I ordered: 3 Cheese Pizzas, 2 Pepperoni Pies, 2 Veggie Pies, 2 Meat Pies and 1 Spinach White Pie. The Spinach White Pie, Veggie and Meat pie have never been ordered before. I wanted the office to get a variety this year since I took over planning and I have to say all the specialty pies went first and we had two boxes of cheese pizzas left for them to eat tomorrow for lunch. My stars are based on costumer service, rather than the product.

Best pizza around! I’m not in Bethesda often anymore but I always try to grab a slice when I’m passing thru. Always fresh and delicious.

I can’t ethically support a place the doesn’t serve water. Also, the slices are small and start at $ 3.50 for a slice of cheeze pizza. That’s a bit over priced!

We tried a whole pie — carryout. It was big, and pretty good, but I gotta say, I prefer a reheated slice here. The fresh whole pie did not have that perfect, ever-so-slight crunch to the crust that the re-heating gives the slices. Interesting. Anyway, it was a little disappointing because the slices are great.

Been going to The Corner Slice for 2 years and they never fail. The $ 8.002 slice and a soda special is the way to go to get your fix. My only suggestion to the owners(having worked in a NYC pizzeria myself, is to lose the«balanced» news on the TV and go with ESPN or live sports. The object is to make people WANT to come in, not drive them away in any way at all. You can watch what you want at home.

Corner Slice is a Quick Place to go for Great NY Pizza! This cool restaurant is a fun place to go with a simple menu and a dedicated staff. Order from them by phone as they deliver too. They have pizza and soft drinks, that’s it! They keep it simple and do it well. Great Lunch Prices! Thanks Corner Slice! I’ve been there a few times and had good experiences. The last time, I called on the phone and it was ready when I arrived. They have three areas to eat at and plenty of napkins when I go there. They have a TV, which one reviewer was boycotting because of the news channel, but that’s silly! My only«beef», so to speak, is that they need to fix the bathroom lock, fix the pacman machine, and leave the TV on the same channel when customers are watching it! It is directed at us, not the staff. I was interested in a news story but they muted the thing. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s a cool place to go and it will meet your expectations for a mid-day pizza take out. Enjoy Corner Slice!, Ben

2.5 Stars, but decided to round down. Don’t expect fresh pizza here unless you are ordering a full pie. The za’s made ahead of time and simply reheated. I was pretty disappointed as the pizza was pretty thin and the toppings sparse(although they spread it out on the pizza to make it look like you are getting more then you really area). The location is convenient, but what did me in from probably not returning was the fact two slices of pizza cost me $ 9.50. Talk about profit margin. The interior is sparse and the presumable owner seemed to come off with an atitutde/sneer when ringing me up(it might be the same guy as South Street Steak). I’d come here in a pinch, but would not go out of my way. Pretty underwhelming.

Two and a half stars. Street parking and a small lot nearby. Two arcade games shoved against the wall where room is available, some seating inside and out. Lots of soda options in the fridge. Parmesan, oregano, and red pepper shakers. Legit sized pies. I enjoyed my slice of white more than I enjoyed the slice of pepperoni; though the dabs of ricotta didn’t float my boat much, the cheese base was sufficiently pre-herbed. Reasonable amount of grease for both. Evenly thin crust that had a little crunch at the edges, but super bland as far as carb fixes go. Prices are a touch steep. While they can’t offer the gourmet ingredients of a more upscale establishment, they outperform PdM in pizza quality and edge out M&O’s for grease factor.
