My school hosts an annual school-wide lunch on our outdoor patio, each year with a different caterer. I am a Mexican food fiend, so I might be a little biased when I say that Tacos Torres serves some insanely delicious and authentic tacos. They have a nice set up — meat frying on a huge stationary skillet in back with the grand master of tacos in front creating heavenly tacos made to order. Seriously, you won’t believe how fast this guy can make you a plate of tacos; he’s got it down to an art. The tacos consist of two small corn tortillas, morsels of tender, juicy meat of your choice, topped with cilantro, onions and hot sauce. Each bite is a burst of flavor and before you know, you’ve eaten 10 and are in line for more. Caution: these tacos are addicting! I got to the luncheon too late to enjoy the Mexican specialty drinks, but I heard rave reviews about the horchata and strawberry concoction(lemonade, perhaps?). A must try if they caterer our annual lunch again.
