Local and lovely. The décor is like a chic farmhouse –warm and inviting. I felt like I was sitting in my grandmas kitchen. The food is to die for! The food of bursting with flavors and the service is quick and kind. When I ask my kids were they want to eat, they don’t say McDonalds, they say Jackson’s Corner.

I’m a local farmer and I grew 22,000# of potatoes under contract, which these deadbeats have renegged on. Think about it when you eat their… food.

Thought we’d try a quick bite for lunch, first impression walking in was nice open area lots of windows huge beer selection. Wife and I ordered a sandwich with salad for each of us. The sandwich I chose was a steak and cheese with caramelized onions on a homemade roll hers was the portobello with caramelized onion kale and gruyère cheese. Salads were a mixed greens with a vinaigrette blue cheese dressing. I had a beer and she had water. Although the portions were extremely small food had excellent flavor. VERY overpriced is the only downfall $ 35 dollars for what we had is a bit much. Couldn’t imagine how much it would be if I was hungry and actually ate enough to get full.

This is my new favorite restaurant in bend. The quality of the food is next level. I enjoy dining there with my family. I always get outstanding service and the food is consistently amazing. The steak special is my favorite. During the day I prefer their salads. The manager(I think his name is Palmer) is really good looking and friendly. I would Recommend this place to any lovers of fine high quality food. The staff is consistently friendly and always takes great care of me. On one occasion there was a delay in my order and the server went out of their way to keep me informed and make it right. And the pastas are better than any pastas I have had anywhere in the world including Los Angeles and New York.

So, as Dorothy would say, I’m not in Kansas anymore. Holy Cow, what a delight! The pasta special was angel hair w/prawns, fresh spinach, delicate garlic, in a white wine sauce. Love the service, atmosphere and food/wine! I’ll be back!

I’ve only been one time and was very impressed. I took my family who was from out of town to try something new for breakfast. Their cardamom and sea salt french toast was super yummy and I would return just for that dish alone! They also had Thump coffee which is great. My mom had the stuffed french toast and was in love. The staff and ambiance made this place even better. One staff member even came outside as we were leaving just to wish us off and to have a good day! How sweet is that? I plan to return to try their lunch or dinner. They also have a nice beer selection to try later in the day.

One bostock(not an authentic version but theirs with berry jam and it was good) + one house baked biscuit + two refillable mugs of(local roaster Thump) coffee from a pump pot = $ 10. Not a bad price in Bend’s over priced market and I like this space a lot more than the mothership location on the westside. Had I not felt I needed to scrape the ice cicles off of the woman behind the counter where we placed and paid for our order, this could have been a four star review. Glancing at Unilocal reviews I note locals rate this eastside Jackson’s Corner higher than do visitors. I was a Bend local for sixteen years but my trips to the city now are as a visitor and maybe there is a different perspective when that is so. THEVIBE The old Bend local in me says hooray for the light, bright semi-industrial vibe space where unlike the original location they have so far resisted any urge to pack in tables so tight as to create a sardine can. Unlike the west side location, one can actually get around in here to get from ordering line to tables and loo too. For now at least. Nice. More thumbs up for the seating, which has a good amount of standard height tables(which I love and so it seems does everyone else since) as well as the high perch seating(which seems to be the last to be used when folks have other options). Outside tables for warm weather days are standard height too. GOODSPOTTOGET A LITTLEWORKDONE At certain times of day(as the late morning when we visited) between the morning breakfast crowds and the lunchtime rush, one can snag a table and spread out out a work project, as we did and as did the folks at the table behind us and along side us too, to meet with others and work while noshing. No guilt involved about that as there were lots of tables to spare during the time we were there, but I sure wouldn’t tie up their tables during the rush times. GREATADDTOEASTSIDE Locals know how much the East side could use a place like Jackson’s Corner right near Bend Memorial Clinic and St. Charles hospital so woohoo for that too. THEDRILL But that frosty counter service cooled me down as did the need to pump coffee out of a pot(which never keeps it hot enough) at the cocktail bar. The drill here is take a menu(both breakfast and other menus are at the counter), line up to place your order, they’ll either hand it to you at the counter to take to your table(as in pastries or other goodies) or find you at the table(with number or without depending on your order) to deliver the rest of your order when it is ready. If you’re drinking coffee, you’ll be directed to pump pots on the bar to fill your own and refills are free. MENU&FOOD The menu looked good, creative and original like breakfast special that included eggs and kale on that morning. Our testing of the food at this location was limited this time, but the friend who joined us for the work session has eaten there several times and said the food has been really good. Prices are on par with the rest of Bend. LIBATIONS Only in Bend, which is so alcohol fueled these days that even bakeries sell beer and wine, would a little place like this have a full bar, but so it does. The list of specialty cocktails on the chalkboard looked pretty darned intriguing and I can see a bourbon speciality drink in my future on another trip to Bend. THIS N THAT 1) PARKING: In a private lot but too small for the needs of the place at certain times give that when we left around 11:30 it was already nearly full and lunch hour wasn’t even in full swing. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Some accessible parking in the lot. Level in and throughout. Reasonable path of travel with several tables at standard height. 3) BOISEBOSTOCK: If authentic Bostock is on your radar, visit Boise and have that pastry at JanJou patisserie in Boise’s North End. As authentic as one can get.

There is not one thing to complain about. Every drink and food item I’ve ordered has been delish and the employees are super cool. Take some time and relax in a cute atmosphere with good food and drinks!
