This Café Yumm location is FILTHY. It’s 06÷15÷16 at 4:25pm, in hopes the owner cares to see who is on staff. Every table in this place is dirty and sticky. My son’s soda came in a dirty glass. There is ONE other customer in here. I count at least 5 staff, they are blah blah talking to each other instead of cleaning. The staff all appear to be under twenty years of age. If I saw someone that even appeared to be management I’d give them an earful. This isn’t the first time and I will just NOT be back and spread the word. Of note I am a frequent visitor to the Old Mill location and other Café Yumm locations. Owner really needs to do something about this one.

Very disappointed overall with«Neff Place» location. Small Yumm bowl was not very appetizing looking or yummy. Requested Yumm sauce on side … thankfully. Quite un-yummy sauce to me. Ingredients crammed in a tiny bowl making it hard to eat, requested extra avocado(very sweet counter girl asked if I’d like any substitution as I requested no cheese or sour cream) — received minimal avocado, but did receive an overabundance of black olives with almost non existent salsa or cilantro. Awful uninviting color scheme– horrid blue«ceiling», loud annoying music, bus tubs overflowing with dirty dishes while 3 employees stood talking in kitchen. Won’t be returning. Too bad. Great location, needed options on east side of town. Jackson’s Corner in same plaza will be my option.

OK if you like beans and rice. Apparently the sauce is what makes the difference here when you get a bowl of whatchamacallit. Not so much a fan of the sauce, I would go with a straightforward tahini sauce, myself. All in all ok, if you are ok sitting in a crowded, busy place that does serve beer(Plus!) and charges a little much for beans and rice. Face it, the mark up here has to be in the range of 400%.

I love Café Yumm & usually get great service at their locations in Eugene, Salem and Corvallis. But I had a unique experience here, that was so bad, I felt compelled to write about it. I called in the morning to give them a heads-up about a large order I would be placing for lunch(I do a TON of catering for my job & know that most places appreciate a heads up phonecall). Well the guy who answered the phone wasted no time telling me how«he» would appreciate me calling after 11am & how I was making«his» job more difficult. It was surreal. Then, when I went in to place the order @ 11am(per angry guys instructions), they seemed annoyed &(naturally) overwhelmed. So, going forward, I plan to avoid this place. I can do business with lots of places in Bend(it is after all a MAJOR restaurant town), so for now… heading elsewhere. I love places that think of their customers needs first & who appreciate my money.

I love yumm bowls. I came in, girls were nice, I order just a regular yumn bowl. I’m eating at work and one piece of avocado was particularly hard to slice through. It had the whole shell still on it. Also two of the other pieces of avocado were completely raw. And holy olives bat man. Not the worst I’ve seen, but a huge oversight on the staffs’ part.

So happy we have a location on the east side my wife and I eat there at least three nights a week fantastic food and service would recommend this location to anybody not wanting to travel to Old Mill for a yum bowl.

Yummy. Healthy. Fresh. I’ve been eating and loving the yumm bowls. You can mix and match to make anything custom. They are super friendly and fast. It’s hard to find good vegetarian options sometimes. I only wish the tofu and tempeh were better.

I love Yumm. I have been eating here more than once a week since it opened. Good people and good food. When there was a problem the staff went above and beyond to fix things. I would recommend this place to anyone.

They messed up my order four times and I finally just ate the bowl they brought me because I was hungry and wanted to get out of there. I am vegan and they brought me a bowl with dairy in it on the first two tries. I don’t plan on ever coming back.

Slow service resulting in being served nothing like what you ordered after several tries. Counter help was nice but kitchen staff completely out of it even when only four people in the restaurant. It’s worth just heading to the old mill location.

Sandwich with plastic garbage that my daughter put in her mouth and almost choked on!!! Our order took 35 minutes to arrive whilst it was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant. Then it was brought out wrong twice. We drove home before realizing our to go food was never brought out despite spending nearly an hour there. We had to drive another ten minutes each way to bring our daughters sandwich to her. The Reuben we brought back to her was only dry gluten free bread(supposed to be rye bread with dressing), sauerkraut and tempeh. No condiments but in the sandwich one of those hard square pieces of plastic they use to close up your loaf of bread that would have a date on it.(I am attaching photos). We had payed extra to get coleslaw and avocado on her sandwich but instead she almost CHOKEDON A HARDPLASTICDISK and after several phone calls to the restaurant and also café yumm corporate, all they have done to reconcile is s gift card worth two dollars less than my daughters sandwich cost. We LOvE our café yumm in the old Mill and eat there often enough that their awesome and competent employees often remember our regular order. I would recommend driving about five miles farther to the old mill location. THISISTHEFIRSTTIMEINMYLIFE I HAVEBEENSERVED A PEICEOFGARBAGEINFOODINMYENTIRELIFE! Worse yet, it was in my daughters food, it went into her mouth before she noticed it, and she could have choked on it. Plus the problem has been handled with multiple calls yo corporate café yumm and the east side location in question unreturned and promised refunds unrecieved, As a parent I am angry that not only was my daughter fed a dry disgusting sandwich that we had to drive across town twice to get, but even more so that plastic garbage was in her sandwich, and that the management of the east side location obviously could not care less.

I work at the hospital and all of my co-workers raved about this place so I decided to give it a chance. Since I am vegetarian, I can be a very picky eater. The staff was really friendly and the place was very clean. They accommodated my wonky dietary needs with no complaints. It was also very fast service. The food was very delicious. A little expensive but for fresh food, it is worth it. Can’t wait to go back and try another flavor!

Had a terrible experience with my mother… the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way it was super pink… then the girl tells me” it’s Ok it’s pre-cooked”…no pink! is cooked little girl… Even better you can watch them just microwave everything this place is a joke… not worth your money. also the girl added some large bowl which we didn’t order to my order and the manager on duty was giving me a hard to to refund their crap food…
