Hershey’s is **out of business** at this location.
Was looking for a mom & pop ice cream place, thought we’d give it a try with the family. This store is now a bubble tea shop, with the remnant coolers and likely stock from the previous establishment. The staff was very friendly, and the ice cream was ok. Not exactly what I was looking for to end a summer weekend. Prices seemed a bit high for the value.
I hope they do well with their bubble tea business. My search continues for local ice cream that isn’t Carvel or Friendlys.

I’m sure the ice cream would have been awesome, had we only been allowed to buy it. We came in with a Living Social deal and the store clerk not only wouldn’t honor it, but dismissed us rudely out of her store for trying. For a store trying to get rid of merchandise a day before closing for the season, selling to us would have been the smart thing to do. SKIP the Hershey’s in Bellmore and take a 5 minute ride to the one in Wantagh.

I have always loved Hershey’s ice cream so when this family owned and operated shop opened in my town I was very excited.
The staff is very friendly, they are open late and the décor is classic ice cream parlor.
My favorite ice cream is the peanut butter swirl which Hershey’s has always been the only ones to make it with such huge chunks of creamy peanut butter inside their super rich and creamy signature vanilla.
Did I mention I love Hershey’s?
Awesome addition to downtown Bellmore!

The décor is really nice, but there’s not many seats inside, and outdoor seating is not available. Everything is average price. The ice creams alright, but I think its not made at the store, they get it shipped in from a factory or something. Parking can be a pain.

Hershey’s ice cream! What else is there to say. The décor is a nice touch, and the ice cream and shakes are all excellent.
A refreshing change from seeing all the frozen yogurt shops popping up all over the place.
