What I really like about this place compared to other Chinese joints is that they are not stingy with their portions and their prices are more reasonable compared to the other places. Also, the cook knows how to cook. I used to go to Café Ore for takeout noodle and fried rice dishes but Kung Ho gives you more at a better price. If you compare this place to a Chinese café or greasy spoon — you won’t be disappointed.

This is our spot for Chinese, and it always impresses. A staple for us is the Salt and Pepper Shrimp with garlic sauce, and Singapore style noodles. Delicious!

This was my second visit and this place is okay to me. It’s not that great because I’ve had better experiences at other Chinese restaurants. My mom and I came here at dinner time, around 7pm and we were surprised how there wasn’t any people there eating. At all. We thought they were closed, but I guess business was just slow. The lady seat us and gave us the menus so we could pick our dinner. After a few minutes, I looked up and noticed that she was standing by the other side of the room, watching us so that she would be available when we’re ready. I feel like that’s creepy, though. Having someone watch you while you and your company decide what to eat. We didn’t order a big meal so it was only the two of us. We ordered the pan fried dumplings, sweet and sour chicken and mongolian beef. Like I said, the food was okay. But the sweet and sour chicken was pretty good, not gonna lie about that.

While the service was sweet, and I have nothing against the two very kind-seeming people who were working there on the night my boyfriend and I came in, the food was horrendous. My almond chicken was made with the same fried chicken as my boyfriends sweet&sour chicken, which I have never seen, but wasn’t COMPLETELY opposed to, until I noticed the gravy on top was old, and instead of almonds, it had peanuts on top. I’m guessing because peanuts are less expensive. I’m also guessing that the same fried chicken was used for both dishes in another effort at saving costs. FYI, cutting costs will cut into your business, which will cost you money anyway. The interior of the restaurant was dismal(seems like people mostly get take-out), and I had to ask for green tea; which was the only thing that took the edge off the biting cold atmosphere. We will not be back. We just moved here and it looks like this is not a good area for decent Chinese food…

Love this place. There’s your classic Americanized Chinese food which I think I’m allergic to so I can’t rate that, but the Chinese menu they have in the back and on the windows always delivers. There’s a delicious pork meatball in the appetizer section that’s a chunk of pork belly, braised and steamed and then stuffed into a rice noodle type bun. There’s salty duck, and it’s actually DUCK, not chicken. The pork chop rice is delicious, as are the noodles. But what I LOVE are the braised«lion heads». 狮子头。 I grew up eating this dish, braised meatballs in stew, and it always reminds me of just happy times with my family. They use Napa cabbage and vermicelli bean thread noodles in the most delicious stock. SOGOOD.

Used to be much better quality when during 1st and 2nd owner. Now a very Americanized Chinese place. Disclaimer: I’m personally not into fake Asian food, so I didn’t rank this very high on my list. Service is OK pace because the place is relatively small. Doesn’t get a ton of customers at this place. Food quality is OK. Nothing to write home about. Miss how much better it was say a few years ago though.

Tasty hole in the wall Chinese fare. So far have had the salt/pepper chicken, mongolian beef, beef chow fun and house fried rice. All tasty. All satisfying.

Kung Ho is super mediocre. I wouldn’t say there’s any the wrong with it but it’s totally forgettable. If you’re looking for Chinese in Bellevue try Yea’s Wok or Szechuan Chef

Solid, if not spectacular, Chinese restaurant in Factoria. Prices are slightly lower for dinner than at nearby restaurants with similar offerings. I had the moo goo gai pan, a dish of chicken and mushrooms in a light sauce that I found bland. Their egg drop soup was also a bit lacking in the flavor department. Their eggroll was solid, crispy and stuffed with veggies. Kyla ordered the orange beef, which was much more to my liking, sweet with a little kick.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. For American style Chinese Food it has always been consistently great. The owner is so nice and friendly I feel like I am in here home. Leave full and happy every time

I have been wanting to try this place since I relocated back to headquarters as its right in front of my work. It always worries me though as its not that well lit up and looks closed at night. And the reviews aren’t the best. I found out its open to 10pm every day and decided to try on the way to my work(I work the night shift) First impressions are always iffy when a business answers the phone saying just Hello and taking my order and saying ok and hanging up but oh well. I figured hopefully my order will be ready, and it was actually the restaurant I called … I arrived in 20 minutes– My food was being bagged– Ordered General Tso Chicken, white rice and a small Hot and Sour Soup. Got to work and unbagged my order– The portions were really large! Everything was $ 14 which was a good deal compared to what I have paid for at other restaurants in the area. The soup was really delicious– Perfect Hot and Sour Soup just like I like it– Lots of vegis! The chicken was also really tasty– Not too fried the sauce was perfect– And of course the rice was fine as well. My order was lunch and dinner and again a lot of food for the $$$ ! I have to say I am really impressed with this place-Lots of people eating in the restaurant– The prices are super affordable and they have a dinner special that is really affordable with rice and soup as well. I am excited to go back and try some other menu items– I gave this restaurant five stars as being back in the PNW this is the first time I have had my two favorites, General Tso Chicken and Hot and Sour Soup that were perfect!

Great prices! They have the best orange chicken and Mongolian beef in the state! They hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had, I wanted to lick the bowl clean! They also have some really good traditional Chinese dishes too! Just ask the lady that works there about them, she is super sweet! I’ve been going here for lunch for years and it’s always been great! I’ve introduced a lot of friends to this place and they loved it too! There dinner is great too! True lady recommended a meatball casserole dish and it was to die for! So gooood! I’m craving it now! Totally recommend!!!

After reading the mixed reviews I was skeptical about visiting this place but last time at 9.15 this was the only place that was open for take out. I must say I wasn’t expecting them to serve dinner combos and even more… serve them at lunch combi prices. I ordered kung pao chicken which came with a side of fried rice, choice of hot n sour or egg drop soup and an egg roll. When i went home and tasted the food, it was pretty good and so I came in again today and tried the mongolian chicken which is even better than kung pao. I will definitely come here again :)

Our food was great… At first. Halfway through my boyfriend flipped over his egg roll and there was a roach deep fried in it. We couldn’t eat any longer and when we brought it to their attention they didn’t act surprised. Didn’t offer any way to make it right with us. Disgusting and horrible customer service.

If you’re looking for late night Chinese in the area, this place is an option. Yeah, it’s not the most inviting or glamorous restaurant but the employees are nice and the food is good. If you’re one to seek out«holes in the wall,» you won’t mind Kung Ho. I’ve been satisfied with my experiences and take out is quick. Like I said, it’s a late night option if you’re not picky, want to eat relatively quick and don’t want to go somewhere that’s packed.

Maybe because I was hangry, but 25 minutes is way too long to wait for food when you’re the restaurant’s ONLY customers. I’ve come here when I was younger, and I remember it being lively and crowded back in the day. Fast forward to last week, and this place is dead on a Saturday night at 6:30PM. Makes me kind of sad actually. We ordered two things, and waited. 20 minutes pass. Nothing. If the place was busy, I would understand, but it was completely empty. I had to go ask the lady up front when our food was going to be done(I would never make a comment unless I really felt like an unreasonable amount of time had passed). When the food did come, it was pretty good. So, at least the restaurant had that going for them. The restaurant needs a major revamp. Tables have cracks and bumps and pieces missing which made the tables look dirty. Lights are out and light fixtures are outdated. The only source of heat is from space heaters lined up against the wall(ghetto…). Their food saved the review from being a 2 star.

I will never come back to this place again! The lunch special was reasonably priced, but then again all the prices on the laminated menu were cover with white out and the«new price» was listed. I took my sister her for lunch today and the food was terrible. the fried rice had way to much soy sauce on it and the egg rolls were filled with cabbage and nothing else. The waiter took forever to bring our check so I had to walk to the front and request it. What put the icing on the cake was when the lady upfront came to bring our to go boxes she smelled like a pack of smokes. This restaurant really need to be updated on the inside. It reeks of deep fried food and cigarettes.

Update: I am sorry to do this, but I have to drop my previous 5 star rating down to 3 stars to reflect their dip in quality. I still buy their rice ball and wa-gui when my cravings hit. It’s still the best — when they don’t have an off-day. At the rock bottom price that they charge, and seeing how their restaurant isn’t doing so well, I’ve trained myself to expect hits and misses from them. It’s still mostly hits but. one time the fried dough in the riceball was rancid. One time soymilk was just. bad and the cup it came in look like it sat and gathered grease over the last decade. Also they don’t put cilantro on their wa-gui any more, it’s all these little things and in general, I have to force myself to overlook possible hygiene issues a little too much these days… I know the owner probably won’t /can’t read this given her limited English. I’ve actually tried talking to her about raising her prices. I’d happily pay more to get the quality riceball back. I hope someone close to them will see this and help them fix the quality issues. They’re clearly losing customers. I’d be very sad to see this place close. — — — — — – Best Taiwanese breakfast on the Eastside, actually, anywhere south of Vancouver and north of the Bay Area. Ever since discovering their weekend Taiwanese breakfast special menu 5 years ago, I’ve been a loyal regular and they’ve never disappointed — except for when they run out! I always get the fan-tuang(rice ball) It’s the traditional version with white sticky rice that’s deliciously fragrant on its own, fried dough, dried pork and some preserved veggies inside. They’re also the only place that makes wa-gui(碗粿) in the greater Seattle area. It is another super delicious and traditional dish from Taiwan — steamed rice cake that’s made in a bowl. Their soymilk is made from scratch in house. I end up getting just these three items whenever I visit and just for how authentic they are on these, the place is a 5-star. Prices are reasonable, the place is humbly run by a couple; husband cooks in the back, wife takes your orders. Limited English, but enough to take your order. Service is nothing spectacular but down to earth and friendly. Their other dishes can be a bit of a hit or miss, I find most of their stir-fried dishes too oily for my liking. But if/when you do order lunch dishes, they give you really yummy pickled cabbages on the house that’s another rare treat that’s hard to find outside of Taiwan. Perhaps the only negative is that the place is clearly run down, it’s hard to tell if they’re even open till you open the door, and décor is dated. But I go there for the food, and I am happy that they don’t charge me more just for pretty décor.

Want to get a decent Chinese/Taiwanese home cook meal? You will have to check out Kung-Ho! Came here for the first time last week… and I ordered the pork chop over rice… It was the BIGGEST rice plate I have ever seen! I would say there is 4 – 5 bowl of rice… with another 2 bowl of minced pork… and a giant fried pork chop over the whole plate. I am a pretty big eater and can’t finish the dish. I can see why someone would not like this place because they don’t use much MSG or oil, however, the favor and«WOKHEY» are still there! The owner lady is also very nice, we chatted w her for a bit and she is very welcoming. This is a 3.5 star experience for me… and I would come back for sure!
