It was ok. Went here for lunch. The yellow lentils came out steaming hot but everything else was lukewarm. For an a la carte order, I expect hot and fresh compared to a buffet order. Ordered Chicken Makani and Paneer Mutter. The masala tea was good. Service was blah. We left with only one patron left waiting for her food and no goodbye or anything. We came in to 3 men finishing up. It didn’t seem welcoming or warm. The table we sat on had a crinkled red placemat and a hair on it which I removed. Total for 3 dishes & tea was $ 40 which is overpriced for what you get. Def had better Indian!

I enjoyed the food from this place. They were very friendly and the menu is also friendly to those who are not of the culture. I took a chance in randomly entering this restaurant and I’m glad I did!

The food was amazing after a long day of work and moving. It was a welcomed sight that was open into the night. The staff is loving and attentive. … very willing to share and chat. We had the mint nan, palak paneer, goat niryani, and lamb vindaloo… omg. wonderful. EVERYTHING was delicious and prepared really quickly. We were given a treat at the end… ummm…ummm.good Thank you so much.

Delicious! We ate there tonight, and it was great. We had a small vegetarian feast, and the waiter was particularly kind to our family with young children. They got the order just right(mild for the kids, spicy for the grown ups) and everything tasted fantastic. Will certainly be back.

Outstanding food and servoce. Came here Saturday 11⁄7. Tandoori Chicken, moist, nicely seasoned with onion and green pepper in thin slices. Lamb Vindaloo, in a not too hot sauce that had a nice undertone of some spice, perhaps cinnamon. Fish Curry — fried boneless filets, light breading and moist in a very good sauce. Spinach with chickpeas, creamy and flavorful. Aloo Gobi — cauliflower and potatoes, Indian comfort food. Garlic Naan buttery good. Onion Kulcha excellent! Caramelized onion inside, tasty tasty. Kingfisher and Taj Mahal beer. We’ll be back. Wonderfully friendly and warm service. Thank you to the management for being so nice.

This place is ridiculous in how good it taste. The first time i walked in and had no idea what at all to order, and the guys who worked there(including the owner) sat with me at the bar explained damn near everything on the menu to me and treated the whole experience like i was some old friend that just rolled on through even though i don’t speak a word of Indian. after that day i have been coming here for the past 5 or 6 years and can say every single thing on the vegetarian menu was mind blowing and eye opening. one of the best things about this place is the fresh made bread. on top of good friendly service and food is the great selection of beers i cant get any where ells(King fisher, Old-monk).

The first time I had Indian food at another restaurant it was horrendous. I decided to give it a 2nd chance and I’m not disappointed! BESTMEALEVER! I will definitely be making the trip from the Bronx back to this restaurant!

This place isn’t half bad. The food was great, but the service was ok. The waitress was nice but she had to hear our requests at least twice before she took action. We ordered chicken makhani which was great, it had spices and everything. The daal makhani was really good as well. The naans were soft and the fish fry was amazing. However, the faluda kulfi was really bad. The noodle things inside were uncooked. We were very disappointed in the dessert. So far, this place is 3 stars. P.S: This place has a B grade.

Have been to this restaurant many times. Love the food. We know the owners who are very nice people. This is my family’s go to spot for Indian(Punjabi) food. They are open late which is a plus. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Had dinner here last night with my husband and his son, we had a bit if a language barrier with the female waitress, but she was very nice and the manager came to the tanks to help. We had the meat samosas and they very very good. We also ordered vegetable pakora which was crispy and tasty. I ordered Naan with raisins which they made special. It was crispy sweet and hot. We also ordered garlic naan and a bread I just call puffy bread because it comes to the table all puffed up like a balloon. It’s fried and really tasty. The entrée of chicken curry was very good, but the entrée of chicken tiki masala was more bell pepper than chicken. The sauce was very food, just not much chicken. The rice was kind of average, I have had better at other Indian restaurants. The rice lacked flavor and no aroma. It was merely a vessel for the tiki masala sauce. We also ordered the Mediterranean salad(I think that’s what it was called) Beware of this salad, it’s beautiful but it’s full of jalapeño and it’s spicy. I like spicy but it was a bit hot for me My husband ordered rice pudding for dessert which was very soupy, not the standard American version. He said it was very good, but if you are a thick rice pudding fan you probably will not like this. His son ordered the Rasmali for the dessert and said it was great. Super sweet with all of the sweetened condensed milk. They were very prompt with water refills and there is a big screen tv that is constantly playing Bollywood movies. They do not have a dinner buffet, so don’t come for a buffet. The buffet is only at lunch. I gave the rating a 3 because of the minuscule amount of chicken in the two orders of chicken tiki masala. They had a lot of to go orders while we were there.

Ordered on seamless, delivery estimate was 30 – 45 minutes; received the food 89 minutes later. The naan was hard as a brick, and it seemed that the paneer pasanda would have tasted like shit even if it wasn’t cold. When I called to ask where the guy was an hour in, he gave me the fk off comment of «yes guy will be there in 4⁄5 minutes» guy came half hour later. avoid this place for both service and low quality of food.

Very nice place. Plenty of parking. Nice traditional Indian Cuisine. Food is fresh and cook to order. The Chicken Tikka Masala is very good. Well season and a kick of pepper. The Naan are good too and they’re not dried out.

It’s really not a bad restaurant at all, its just that a lot of things didn’t add up to make it great. First off, this is essentially a bare bones dine in restaurant. Not exactly set up like a take out place, but has those plastic, sticky table covers OVER the tablecloths(it will fall with you and follow you no matter what you do, and everything sticks to it), with dark linen napkins that seem dingy. Mood lighting is very abrupt, and the main dining hall and adjoining banquet hall are designed with the typical over-the-top garish indian indoor design that is taking Bellerose/Floral Park by storm. The entrance is confusing because the banquet hall looks like a slightly fancier version of the dine in hall. Don’t go to the right, go straight through the doors for dining in. Biggest tick I had– their Unilocal menu does not match up their in house menu. I checked up their Unilocal menu to see what soups they offered and really wanted the Mulugthawany Soup. However, the waiter was super confused when I kept on mentioning it in hopes that it was a «secret» item since it wasn’t on the in house menu. I had to show him the Unilocal menu and he said it was a «optional» dish that wasn’t being made anymore(I think he meant seasonal). I know the Unilocal menu is not their responsibility but when you go in planning for something, it sucks when you can’t get it. The pricing seems accurate on this Unilocal menu however. We ordered the lamb vindaloo and chicken kadhai. The chicken kadhai had more bell peppers than meat. It tasted pretty oily. The lamb vindaloo was pretty tomatoey as expected, but also didn’t have very much lamb in it. My mom was pretty disappointed in the chicken, as she was expecting it to be just as excellent as the last time she had it a few weeks ago(she has been raving about that chicken almost every day). She told the waiter how much better the chicken was in the past and how disappointed she was in how the chicken didn’t at all live up to past excellence. He was sweet enough to give us some gulab jamum on the house. Naans were fresh and hot, as expected. Mango lassi was typical, and came unexpectedly with whipped cream on top.

Do yourself a favor and don’t order for delivery from this place. First they show up with the wrong order. Then when I call to tell them that, they have the nerve to ask me what to do…“oh so now I would have to go all the way back… you tell me… what to do”??? And then it takes 45+ minutes to show up with the right order. Talk about ruined dinner plans, never again!

Ordered last night for the first time through Seamless. Really really good food! We ordered Navatan Korma, Palak Paneer, and buttered chicken — everything was rich and fresh and delicious! The leftovers are already gone this morning! Definitely going back!
