Spring Creek Barbeque

Going here for many years and haven’t been here in a long time. But today I was reacquainted with their tender brisket and tender ribs.
What a good day. Two meat combo is a great value. $ 13.95 plus all the vegetables you can put on the plate.
The brisket was tender and full of flavor.
Ribs. Wow. I enjoy barbecue all over the country and these ribs were among the best. Tender. Juicy. Tastey.
Always have fresh hot rolls with lots of butter. Mmmmmmmm
Soft drinks and beer and tea. Good choice.
The green beans really were over the top, not sure what they put in them. But excellent.
I will promise to come back much sooner.

If you are picking up a to go order you have to go to a separate counter to order and pick up your food. This takes a minimum of twenty minutes for them to organize your order.
You are better off going through the dine in line and pick up your food, then walk over to the to go counter and request a box, package it yourself, and get the fuck out of this shit hole.
Fucking morons.

Ambience: ⁷⁄₁₀ (seemed clean enough)
New girl at take-​out counter. She barely know what she’s doing and had to correct and switch my order to get the price I wanted.
We ordered a 2 meat platter to go and when the order came, I made sure to ask her if everything’s in the bag, and that I ‘trust’ her (to do her job correctly), which was a total mistake. She checked and notice there’s no rolls and put some in there.
When we laid everything out on the table at home, it’s no surprise that there’s no BBQ sauce included. So, I have to hop into the kitchen and fix one up myself real quick, which was probably better than the one we would have gotten.
Food was fine but nothing to write home about. Definitely overpriced for sure as usual.
Brisket and sausage were good, ribs were a bit dry, potato salad was meh, fried okra tasted like fried okra…
I definitely prefer Dickey’s BBQ and their godsend spicy bbq sauce, and it’s not even close.
tl;dr — Go here for the bread rolls and avoid everything else.

I had the combo plate today with turkey and brisket with their delicious green beans and potato salad. I did not care for the potato salad so I will stick with my usual double beans next time. Same feeling about the brisket while it was good with that tasty bbq sauce the flavor of the turkey can not be beat. I hardly ever eat dessert but their free vanilla Blue Bell can not be passed on.

Got their combination plate. Beef & Chicken. Very little beef. I complained to the person cutting the beef and he said it’s all in weight, funny thing is he has no scale to weigh. I also complained to the cashier and all she said was sorry. Where is the manager???

What a disappointment! I have always enjoyed Spring Creek but have not eaten there in a long time as I try to eat more healthy. But tonight, we decided to go as a special treat. I did the brisket and sausage plate and am glad that I did as I found the brisket so marbled with fat, I really thought I was chewing fat rather than meat. The beans were almost bland and lacked the kick they use to have. Not even the potato salad was up to standard! But we were very disappointed in the rolls! The ones normally served are not as good as the fresh ones but we were almost finished with our dinner before they came around. I am hoping it was just this location but not sure I would go back unless I was meeting friends!

So it’s Father’s Day and the place is bustling. Even with all the people the staff still maintain a positive a cheerful attitude. Not to mention great food.

The BBQ here is fantastic and I recommend any meat here. that is one thing I can’t say about any other BBQ establishments. the only thing is the portion for how much you pay is rather small. They have my favorite Cole slaw. The barbecue sauce is sooooo good!

Love their meats! Chicken, zesty sausage, beef. They have done catering before at my job. Their meats are always tender and love the buttery rolls. I’m not a big fan of their sides, if I were you I’d just go for the meat! It’s decent bbq for the area but not the best… but I’ll always find an excuse to eat their tender brisket! Prices are pretty good as well.

I like the beef dinner, the rolls are always awesome. Usually good beef brisket. We go eat here fairly often. This location does NOT have TVs.

Best beef BBQ I’ve ever had. The pulled pork is really good too. Service is quick and kind and the guy cutting slabs behind the counter is awesome. It’s worth traveling here just for the BBQ.

Not worth it. Unnecessarily overpriced, and 2 of the 3 managers are ridiculously rude. The only saving grace is that the staff is typically very nice and helpful. However, I won’t be going back– bad food and bad management. I think not!

On my last visit decided to try the pulled pork sandwich. It’s usually my favorite meat. I took one bite and drank ½ glass of tea– It is very spicy (comes with sauce mixed in)-had I known that i would not have ordered it-​no one mentioned it either. I don’t like spicy food-​the pork was tender but not sure what it really tasted like since it was drenched in sauce. If you like spicy you’ll like this-​if not, stay away and order something else-​unless they offer it without sauce.

Ordered take out and they gave me wrong order! Ordered slide brisket and chicken and gave me ham instead of the chicken! And very small portion! 3 small slices of brisket and 3 small slices of ham! Won’t be going back!!!

Spring Creek is my go-​to place for BBQ. Always my favourite BBQ and the sauce is the best. The rolls are always fresh and the sweet tea is amazing.
The reason for the four stars instead of five is because it does take some time before they bring the rolls around, even had to ask if they had any one day. But other then that, eat here if you love BBQ!

Pretty good bbq, but seems like standard fare compared to other places.

Basic stuff here folks… move along. I don’t know, it just felt like a cafeteria. You shuffle through a line with a tray and just pick meats, veggies, etc. I get that that is efficient but I just prefer and traditional wait staff, etc. I personally had a salad so I can’t comment to the point of how good the BBQ is or not.
The interiors are like a backyard picnic, only inside. Everything is self serve so service is not an issue really here.
Bottom line, if you’re in TX I can promise you, you can find a better BBQ joint.

Big fan of Spring Creek. It’s my go to BBQ place when I need that smoked fix. Which is why I must let management know about my experience tonight (⁵⁄₁₅) at the Bedford location. Took the family out tonight, we all (4) had the rib dinner. Sides were great, bread was right on, but the ribs were off tonight. Over done, charred, crispy, and very dry. Nothing near what has always been served in the past.
Checked the ribs of others at my table and the same. Big disappointment. You guys can do much better.

I not a huge BBQ fan, I prefer Memphis BBQ over Texas. But Spring Creek BBQ is pretty good.
Some of my favorite things about things place are the fresh baked rolls and they offer Jello for dessert. Because there is always room for Jello. You also can by Coke in a bottle.
I love their ribs, green beans and Mac and cheese. Those are the only things I have ordered here. My husband says the brisket is very tasty with that nice smoke ring. I also find their BBQ sauce tasty .
Ribs — they have a nice smoky flavor and a beautiful pink ring. The top layer has the nice crisp texture while the meat below is a juicy fall off the bone texture.
Green beans– are not over cooked or mushy. Nice bacon flavor .
Mac and cheese — the Mac is always cooked nice never too mushy. The cheese is nice and cheesy without being greasy.
The Jello is sublime !!!
