There’s a lot of stuff to say about this place, unfortunately not much good, however if you just need a roof over your head for a night it’s OK. I’ve stayed here several times over the last 8 years due to the fact that it is directly across the street from the nursing I needed to be at daily and it just never gets better. When the hotel chain was bought out I had hopes for it to improve but it didn’t. I reviewed this hotel back in 2012 and noted it was in desperate need of renovation… fast forward two years and nothing has been done except new flat panel TV’s. Because I stay at Extended Stay America hotels across the country, I know the company is renovating many of its properties from the ground up, but this one hasn’t been touched in years. The carpets are filthy, the furniture is disgustingly dirty & old, mattresses are well beyond replacement time and the appliances are super old. Repairs are patch jobs. The equipment in the fitness rooms rarely worked during my extended stay. The trash room is emptied nightly but on the weekends it’s like walking through the smelly dump. There is no security! The exterior doors require a key card but they were all broken for most of my stay and the front entrance door is left unlocked so anyone can walk in, any time, which happened more than once. The police are called often, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Smoke alarms were set off several times a week at all times of the day and night requiring the fire department to show up. I also experienced a termite infestation and had to go to the store myself and by bug spray because there was no one on site who could do anything about the 1000 or so bugs crawling around«until Monday», and in the end it was a couple weeks before the bug guy came to spray. Breakfast is a grab & go granola bar, muffins(maybe), fruit and coffee & the stuff goes fast in the early morning. The Staff: some good, some bad, some care and some don’t but the general attitude comes across as don’t bother me. The evening staff spend most of their time on their personal phones hiding behind«the wall» so they don’t have to interact with guest. Bottom Line: they can do better if corporate will spend the money to improve the property and hire staff who does their job. Thumbs up to the maintenance guy Gary. He cares, he does his job the best he can with what he has to work with.

I got this reservation on Priceline Express Deals for $ 39 and I would have been bummed had I paid more. Everything about this place screams cheap owner and lazy employees. There’s not even coffee at breakfast, just Sanka and hot water. There’s absolutely nothing in the rooms, not even a plastic cup. Basically, if it costs the owner any money, it won’t be in your room. My husband went to the desk to get a coffee pot and the evening desk clerk, Nate, told him there wasn’t one but there would be one available in the morning. One of the long term guests heard the exchange and told my husband that the employees are lazy as $*** except for one girl who works hard. This place sucks. There’s not even a privacy thing to hang on the door. Probably because they cost money hut also because the owner probably wants overnight guests out ASAP so housekeeping can get off the clock.

So far so good here. We arrived about a week ago and plan to be here 1 month if not longer. They have great monthly rates. It’s clean, service and staff are very friendly, and they have a pool! :) we are really enjoying our time here. The location is great; and we are really enjoying our stay here.
