Was not impressed. Service I will give it props on. The staff was friendly, really nice girls, and that’s the only thing keeping this over 1 star. Tried 3 soups before settling on one, all of them were underwhelming and seemed easy enough to make at home. The bread was just bread, fairly tasteless and just filler to sop up your soup with. I hated the price. Soup should not be this expensive, especially average quality soup. It costs 10 – 14 $ for the largest container, depending on the soup, which admittedly is a fairly sizable container, but it’s average quality and cheap, so you could probably make five times as much for half the price. Seriously… it’s SOUP, not a full meal. They need to slash their prices by at least half to make it worth the money, but hey, if you want a random menu you can’t rely on, and some over priced soup that tastes like something worth a ¼th of the cost. This is your place.

Meh. Soup is my favorite food. The entire category of soup. I. love. soup. So i was thrilled when I saw a sign go up for a «soup and salad» place near my house. Couldn’t wait till it opened! I’ve been there 3 times(trying to give it a chance to work out the kinks… it’s hard being new!) And… meh. I’ve ordered soup or a salad each time. Soup isn’t that great. Very salty. Not any better quality than you would get from a standard grocery store. I don’t think they’re doing a huge amount of volume because each time I’ve been in there has been a «film» on top of several of the soups(I know that probably isn’t unsanitary, it’s just unappetizing.) My biggest complaint is pricing. It’s very expensive for the quality. New Seasons down the road has a great soup selection at about $ 5/bowl that you know the ingredients are fresh and house made. This soup looks like it’s coming out of a heated bag and rings in at $ 6/cup and over $ 7 for a bowl. I’m not against paying $ 7 for a bowl of soup that is fresh, flavorful and unique… but their soup doesn’t fit the bill. They get three stars because their staff is great. Every time I’ve gone in they are enthusiastic and ready to help. They are excited about offering samples and eager to answer questions. So…meh.

Uhh not a fan of Zoup. Service was very slow(which honestly I didn’t count against them… New restaurant, growing pains). Despite the slowness, the employees were fabulous and super friendly. I wanted the food to be good… But it just wasn’t. Almost every sandwich comes on French bread or a wrap. Call me old fashioned but I prefer regular slices of bread. I ordered the 3 cheese pesto. Cheese was barely warm, not melted whatsoever. With my sandwich I got the Lobster bisque… Which was ok… However it definitely had the consistency and taste of a canned soup. Overall, not impressed.

Three of us went in during lunch. Each had something different and we all agreed that the lobster bisque was the best, but the others were good also(chicken pot pie and spicy crab & rice). We only had soup. What we saw, that other customer had(salad, sandwiches), looked very good. Three sizes of soup plus a bread bowl and quart size. I had a bread bowl and found that there was not enough soup, they don’t hollow out the bowl, so I had to go back and purchase a small size to fill me up. The web site seems to update every day so that you can check there to see what is being served on that day. While you stand in line to order they ask if you want to try a sample GREAT idea! especially when the cold weather comes. We’ll be back.

I was going to go to MOD but the line was back to the door, Baja Fresh was almost as bad, so I came here instead. It is new so people haven’t discovered it yet. I liked this new restaurant. They are big on pushing soup samples, The guy working said they rotate over 100 soups. The soups are available in a range of sizes. They also have salads and sandwiches. I had the combo with Lobster Bisque with a Caesar Salad and up sized the soup from side to cup for 99 cents. I wound up with more food then I could eat, The Lobster Bisque was very good, It was creamy with lots of big chunks of meat(and one small piece of shell. I will definitely order it again. It was great on a wet cold Oregon day. The Caesar Salad on the other hand was a bit disappointing. First off they put the dressing on the side. I know some prefer that but I find it is hard to get dressing throughout the salad. The dressing was also on the bland side. My other complaint is they do not have napkin dispensers. Instead they gave me 3 napkins on the little tray under the food. It worked OK but if some soup had spilled they would have been wet. In all I liked the restaurant, The prices are OK I came in under $ 10 for a good sized cup of excellent soup and a big salad(next time I will have a sandwich) and a Sourdough roll. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Mediocre soup. Only one Gluten Free option and no Gluten Free bread. $ 7.25 for a bowl of soup and a $ 1.25 for an off brand bottle water. Disappointed to say the least. Too pricey. Soup Nazis.

Not bad actually, not stellar. The bread is tasty. Soups are not bad. Sandwiches not so interesting. Salads ok. My biggest suggestion is to offer more eco friendly plates /bowls. Reusable dishes would be better. How about a recycling system for all the plastic? Nice changing tables in both men’s and women’s bathrooms for zoup babies, that’s appreciated. Nice staff.

I found the food more flavorful(and the bread better baked) than Panera down the street. The bread was crusty on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. I had the Asian Noodle soup which was salty, spicy, and loaded with vegetables. Loved it. I also had the Veggie wrap, which had an unexpectedly spicy note to it, which I didn’t love. My son’s turkey club looked yummy and well toasted. My biggest problem with this place is their misleading nutrition information. The menu highlights soups that are under 175 calories, and sandwiches/salads that are under 350, but what they don’t tell you is that their«portion size» is only a half sandwich/salad or 8 oz. soup. So, essentially, they’re only telling you what half a serving is calorie-wise. Definitely uncool and misleading. Also, while they have a «kid» option, it’s quite literally a small sandwich on wonderbread(not even cut in half), with a milk. There’s no side of apples, yogurt, or anything else. Thankfully, we ordered our older child an adult ½ sandwich(he wanted turkey, and the kid options were only PBJ or grilled cheese), and were able to give the side soup to our other child to supplement the crappy PBJ. I’d steer clear of their kids meals, and just split a pick two between them(if you have multiple children).

Just went in and got take out. Got home and the shrimp asparagus soup the was stringy and hard. Called the restaurant and the person said to go on line and tell Zoups to remove it??? Not the response we were looking for.

Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t mind blowing either. Soup came out a little colder than ideal, French bread was dry and plain, and the salad was satisfactory. Maybe I just ordered the wrong stuff but I definitely didn’t feel that the combo I got was worth nearly 9 dollars. I would come here again, but with Panera up the street, I’d probably choose that instead. Also, all the paper and plastic dish ware felt heavy on my environmental footprint.

Cold bland soup. Boring breads and tortillas. The vinaigrette tasted like syrup not vinegar. Extremely overpriced. 2 cups of soup, half sandwich, half salad, medium drink and large drink. 25.00. I will not go back.

This place is great for lunch. The Try Two Combo for $ 7.75 was a great deal. I got the chicken Greek wrap and tomato and feta soup. No regrets :)

The food is good, but it is on the pricey side for soup. Having said that, the lobster bisque is excellent, and the Asian salad was fresh and crisp. My only real complaint/suggestion is to tone down on the spicy soup offerings. Half of the offerings on that day were spicy, which presents a problem for people that cannot eat spicy or don’t like it. Remember that you can add spice to something, but you cannot remove it.
