Ok. Here for dinner. Let’s see how they do… Great pizza. They were really flexible with our make your own order. Good food. Good price. I think I like them better than Mod.

The food here is the best! Much better than pieology! They have a spicy Marinara sauce and it’s actually pretty spicy! I highly recommend this place

I liked this place better than MOD pizza. I felt they have more veggie toppings here and Sea salt as a topping is a nice addition. The buffalo chicken was very good and the crust is lot better and not too chewy like MOD. Would definitely visit this place again.

They have a good selection of toppings for build your own. They get xtra points from me because they accommodate Michael no cheese pizza. We are all impressed with the wood fire and you can see your pizza cook. I love the thin crust and that I can get fresh mozzarella cheese.

I love this new concept of customized personal-sized pizza. Crust — it was chewy, flavorful, and held up well against the heavy amount of toppings I put on. Sauces — My favorite is the spicy red sauce, but my parents like the white cream sauce. I wish they had a pesto base. Cheese — I love the variety they offer. I get a combo of goat, feta, and mozzarella. Meat toppings — My choices(chicken, meatballs, and sausage) are crumbled over the top. Make sure to ask for more, since they don’t load it up as much as you’d like. My parents like to ask for LOTS of bacon. Vegetable toppings — Again, the immense variety. They offer my favorites(spinach, artichoke, grilled peppers, olives) along with grilled zucchini, arugula, and roasted garlic. Service is friendly and simple. When the pizza is done in the oven, someone cuts it and places it on the pick up counter. Be sure to ask them for a drizzle of pesto or arugula(if you want it), since they don’t usually ask you.

Service is amazing! Friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and we got our pies super fast with extra help even coming out to help! I am picky about my crust and the thin crust at Blaze was great! $ 7.45 for a good size pie? I’ll be back.

I came here with a coupon for a free pizza that I got from work. The concept is that it is the«Chipotle» of pizza, where you can pick your toppings and they quick fire it for you. I can’t even remember what I got on mine(which will tell you something). It satisfied my pizza craving, but wasn’t anything special! I added my own pesto to it when I got home, and that made it better. If you’re going to pick one of these places to eat in Beaverton, I would choose Mod!

Thought I would be excited about this, but after ordering on line and putting in all my credit card info I still had to pay when I got there and then they were suppose to fire my pizza. I waited starving with my son for 20 min wondering where our food was. They never fired it!!! So still waiting 49 min later, to eat in a cold environment. The young girl at the counter was nice, but when your dealing with a mom who hasn’t eaten lunch and is starving with kids. I’m sorry doesn’t cut it. Their corporate headquarters are in Pasadena, CA. Not even Local. They use plastic utensils and salad containers. No recycling available. Don’t know how the pizza tastes cause I am still waiting. Ok pizza came and it was yummy. Dawson made our night! Such a great employee. I’m not Hangry anymore either. They also gave us a couple free coupons. I’ll go back and try again.

I’ve been to Blaze twice now, and with competitors just down the street offering frankly a better pizza I don’t think I’ll be back. Although most of the fast casual made-to-order pizza joints operate on the same basic idea, the difference here to me is really about the crust. The crust doesn’t have much flavor or texture — it’s truly a vehicle for the toppings. I prefer the char and good chew of a wood-fired pizza, or the crunch of a cracker crust. The crust really tastes like the crust of a frozen pizza. A basic cheese pizza runs pretty light on cheese — you can, of course, ask for more and I’d recommend you do. Other toppings look fresh and seem to be piled on nicely, so that’s a very good thing. I’d also recommend saying yes to the sea salt finish — it really pulls a nice flavor from the sauce. Really though, there’s not much here that others aren’t doing, and doing better. I hate to make comparisons, but since fast-casual pizza seems to be popping up everywhere lately, comparisons will be made. Blaze will need to differentiate itself to be the go-to in this market.

It seems like lost of the quick made personal size pizza places are popping up these days and I’m perfectly happy to support them as it’s a great idea. Blaze does a good job and I would say is even tastier than the competition overall. They also have more choices for sauces(a spicy red in addition to the classic), and I think more cheeses than I recall for most including goat cheese. Overall things seemed of a good quality and the staff was on top of things. Basically for a fair price I got a very tasty thin crust pizza, I’m down with that. Now adding smoked mozzarella and organic options would make me really fall in love but even without I’m a fan for sure. My only gripe is they make the employees yell out greetings whenever a customer enters, I for one never cared for this as it seems forced and really kind of rude when they are waiting on another customer, but it’s becoming a semi fast food standard procedure these days.

They made it really easy to like them. Blaze totally delivered on the fast and friendly concept. As a first-timer, each staff member was friendly and helpful as I moved down the line from ordering and payment to delivery. I chose one of their signature pizzas, the Link In(sausage, roasted red peppers, sauteed onions, cheese and red sauce). Probably the best surprise was that one of the lemonade options was blood orange and it was delicious. At this point, it is hard to tell all these fast-fired pizza chains apart. Especially in this case when MOD is a block down the road and(the more traditional) Pizza Schmizza is also a couple blocks away. I actually ended up here because the line to order at MOD was ridiculous and Blaze was much less frenzied. Not a place I’d go out of my way to visit, but perfectly fine for a quick bite to eat.

Gonna pass on coming back here. Not anywhere as good and much less healthy than Mod pizza. A clear copycat. Parking is tough in this tiny lot. The salads are in plastic containers and you mix them. Really? You can’t toss a salad? 12:30 on Sunday and we are the only customers in here. That should say something.

Blaze Pizza is now the third fast food restaurant to occupy this building on Cedar Hills Boulevard. Lately there has been a wave of fast pizza restaurants in the Portland area. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is one of the latest to catch this wave of fast food pizza. Was not impressed with MOD on down the road so I entered Blaze with low expectations. However, Blaze Pizza very quickly won me over. For starters, Blaze offers a gluten free pizza crust and vegan cheese. In addition to pizza Blaze Pizza offers salads and a dessert(a s’more pie.) Diners are given a choice of three pizza sauces: red, spicy, and white. Blaze is primarily a «build your own» pizza type of operation. They offer about eight«signature pizzas» and diners are invited to add ingredients as they peruse the buffet line. At the end of the line your pizza is handed off to a pizza chef. Blaze can cook multiple pizzas at a very high temperature. They can have you your pizza in literally minutes. A build your own pizza costs $ 7.45. A one topping pizza goes for $ 5.95. A simple pie consisting of mozzarella, parmesan cheese, and red sauce sells for $ 5.00. On my visit I went for a «Meat Lovers» pizza. This brought me a pizza topped with pepperoni, crumbled meatballs, and onions. I added olives and mushrooms. The sauce was delicious and the toppings were first rate. The crust despite being minimalist was full of flavor. Lovers of thin crust pizza will be in seventh heaven at Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza. The interior is clean, simple, and clean. Blaze is actually a very spacious restaurant. The staff here is friendly, energetic, and very helpful. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza gets my vote as the best fast fired pizza place in town!

What competition this street has going in regards to build-your-own-pizzas! Came here because I got a coupon in the mail for a free pizza! I was not disappointed. If you like thin pizza, then you will like this place! Although this place has less options to build, it’s fast and delicious! It’s all one sized pizzas for $ 7.45 Also, I bought a s’more cookie. I didn’t like it as much as I had hoped /: The customer service was great — everyone was super friendly and was very attentive Bottom line: I’d come back, for sure!

Best pizza of our lives! Ok, best thin pizza. For sure. A mail coupon brought us in last night, and this place is like Chipotle married Mongolian barbecue and then decided to open a pizza place. It’s hip and cool inside, and thank goodness they serve beer and wine, also at a reasonable price. The generous personal pizzas were two meals for me and at ~8 a pizza, that’s a really dang cheap and tasty couple meals. The staff was overwhelmingly helpful and friendly, guiding me through the extremely generous and diverse toppings selection. Seriously, it’s like the fro yo of pizza, but it’s unlimited toppings. My pizza piled high with spinach was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. Could barely wait for it to cool down after coming out of their beautiful oven. As Mario Batali says, a great pizza is even greater when it’s eaten the next day under the light of the refrigerator. This pizza holds up to that. Also crisped it up on my cast iron. My husband is lactose intolerant so this place is AMAZING for him. He gets what he wants with no confusion or allergy issues. My only thing that I would want and I apologize if I missed it but, I was really in the mood for a spinach feta and balsamic pizza, but I didn’t see any balsamic, maybe in the finishing touches. Silly ingredient I know, and I suppose I can figure it out at home as well. But the guy cooking and cutting up my pizza seemed to really know what he doing. We shall be back! Going to try ordering online next time so I have less ingredient selection anxiety.

2nd visit to this new Blaze location and still impressed. Low priced pizza, with all the fresh toppings that one could ask for at no extra charge and ready in less than 10 minutes.

In the«fast» pizza category, my initial reaction is Blaze slightly edges Mod(see Pros & Cons below). Whether or not this Blaze location is successful may depend on accessibility. Blaze is in the old Famous Dave’s location on a very busy and crowded Cedar Hills Blvd and may be missed by most drivers. The parking lot is also small and shared by multiple businesses. Enough about that, though, what about the pizza?! Blaze has an assembly line — just like Mod — and you can choose pre-determined«signature» pies, build your own or customize one of the signature pizzas. I found the pizza tasty and the crust better than Mod. Blaze claims the pies take 3 minutes in the oven, but my wait time during a rather slow period was more like 5 minutes… similar to Mod. Prices were about the same as Mod, making Blaze a good value. PROS: — Fresh toppings — Unique toppings(e.g. Fresh mozzerella, sea salt) — Multiple red sauce selections — Thicker and tastier crust than Mod — Friendly, outgoing staff — Competitive lunch prices CONS: — New staff makes a few mistakes — Lack of napkin dispensers(only at drink dispenser) — Minimal non-fountain-soda drink options — Difficult location & parking — Strange branding and slogans(trying too hard to be hip/cool Tip: Try the sea salt. It makes for a nice finish. Overall, Blaze makes a good pizza considering the speed and price. They are competing for the quick lunch and dinner crowd and not for gourmet pizza lovers(read: Pizzicato). They’re worth a try.

Food was bland! Honestly For the price I expected a decent pizza! The atmosphere was way too much! Super loud and obnoxious! It was the first thing I noticed when I walked in! I did not have the best experience with the employees, thought they were rude! Expected more with such good reviews!

Very loud in here. They had 12 workers on duty and each one did a couple of things to your make it your way pizza. With so many of them and everyone talking it was hard to hear anything they said. Pizza was good and very fast. Salads also were fresh and good. Place was very clean with one person just waiting to pickup things from your table. If they had a olive oil base offered it would be a 5. Not all of us want red sauce.
