My car was hit on Black Friday by another driver. I went through her Insurance to have damages fixed. I was referred to Carr Autobody by her insurance company. The insurance company called me on Christmas Eve to let me know according to their estimate it would only take 2 days to fix. So, they wouldn’t cover my car rental any longer. Due to the time of year, repairs were taking longer than expected. Carr covered the cost of my rental after Allstate refused to pay. The experience with Allstate was horrific. Luckily the Manager of Carr was the only helpful party in this ordeal. I got my car back in tip top condition. They cleaned the interior and washed and waxed the exterior. Carr really did a superb job and covered an expense that the Insurance company should have! Where Allstate dropped the ball, Carr picked it up. Thank you!

Brought in my less than 2 year old car to get some work done. All cosmetic due to my car being badly scratched in a parking lot hit and run. I brought it in on Monday and was told it would be done that Wednesday. I didn’t end up getting my car back for two weeks (10 days later than specified). When they finally called I showed up to see they forgot to remove a scratch. Not a major deal any other time but after the lack of communication in the first place this was just the icing on top. I ended up just hanging out in the waiting room while he buffed it quickly instead of risking my car being MIA again.
Less than one month later my rocker panel is falling off (which is what they removed to paint). I come back and they basically tell me to leave my car and they’ll get to it when they can… No estimate or anything.
I’m pretty good about uncontrollable circumstances interfering with work but this place is just excuse after excuse and they can’t own up to anything.
Needless to say, I won’t be coming back here or suggesting this place to friends & family.

Rick over here at Carr told me that the car I was buying had just been detailed even though there was ash from a cigarette in it. This should have been where I got in my car and left stopping them at their first lie. How do I know they lied you may ask? I found a rental agreement in the car with all the customers info on it including license address. It is no surprise that these people are more worried about a paycheck than return customers as they say. He also lied to me about the deal saying that it does not matter if I wait for my credit score to go up or not I am still going ot have high interest. It seemed like he had a good story for everything I said and he has all kinds of stories of his own. He told me he works alone but had just a hired a guy to help him. After the very rude finance company called with their «welcome call» Rick suddenly had Linda calling me to make sure I took the call Who the heck is Linda? Hope Linda and Rick get no more sales. I wish I had waited another month and not gone ahead with this deal. Please do not see Rick Totten for any kind of financing even if you are in bankruptcy and desperate. That is when they stick their claws in and really sock it to you. Believe me I know Carr Chevy did the same thing to me in 2005 I should’ve known better but that Rick is a smooth talker do not fall for it like I did. Good luck to you and shame on CARR!

If I could, I would give these con artists no stars! They took my information and told me they were going to run a soft inquiry to get some loan numbers for me. Instead these dishonest scumbags ran 31 HARD inquiries on my credit report!!! Every single one of the loan inquiries they ran were for different amounts. I also had told them I wanted to do no money down, and was only interested if my payments were in a certain range. They came back to me every time with a down payment amount and a payment higher than what I said I wanted. Are you kidding me? This is not how you run a business. As we went to leave (fed up with their scam), they tried to get us into a different SUV The thing was infested with ants and the other salesmen were eating their lunch in it (this must be the norm, as most of the cars we went to look at had trash and cups left in them) Also, the guy helping us kept making comments about shady business ie. If the car we wanted was out on a test drive, we could sign the papers and buy it out from under the other guy, or how some of the cars on their lot had been hit by their own people, but they keep that from the prospective buyers and refuse to fix them or lower the prices. I will NOT be getting a car from you guys ever, and anyone who ever says they are going to you, I will be more than happy to share my story of regret with them. LIARS!

Stay away from these liars. Told the car had recent tune up and 150 point check. 2 weeks to the day of purchasing and less than 600 miles later my check engine light came on and when I called them up I was told that that is not covered by the extra warranty I paid for.

I recently bought a car that was supposed to have a safety check done. Basics of a safety check is have a properly working horn. Unfortunately I didn’t find out until all the papers were signed. I drove 2 hours here to check out a Corvette. To my surprise the Corvette that I was looking for where no longer located here, but another 3 miles away at Carr Chevrolet.
The services here were so amateur and snail slow. First the salesman Eric that was helping us did not know anything about what he was selling nor how to even sell it. I understand that he might be new, however he should know the basics of how car sales are like.
He asked us for too much information, like how each of us needed two references; meaning four in total. There was also no negotiations about the price. He just kept going back and forth with paper work to his manager.
We were dealing with paperwork for two hours. Not including the the extra few minutes after we came back from eating. In the end they made us do all that paperwork to not negotiate on lowering the price. A total waste of time and gas.

Ah, yes. The old bait and switch. Bought a car from these guys three months ago. They sold me on how great their customer service was. On how great their aftercare was. How they would help me if anything went wrong with the car. I guess I was naïve. After buying the car within three months things started going wrong. They completely abandon us. Literally said it wasn’t their problem and I could buy another car if I didn’t like it. I know used car lots are a roll of the dice but these guys took it to another level. I would not recommend buying anything from this lot.

Fox at Carr auto was able to get my husband and I ridiculously low monthly payment. He even was willing to get into a little trouble for it. He definitely went above and beyond. Even so far as offering my husband a job, to help with payments.
Will definitely go back and refer friends and family. Love our new Pontiac vibe!

The manager was not pleasant to work with, we could not meet terms on a sales price and walked out of his office without returning. He didn’t even come back in to let my wife and I know we were done talking. This was a very, very, very unpleasant car buying experience
I understand a deal isn’t always made but you can at least be civil

I recently replaced my p.o.s. Chevy S-​10 with a Toyota Tacoma that I discovered at Carr’s Used Auto store. Ironically, I bought that S-​10 from Carr Chevy just down Canyon road, and I never wrote a review for that experience. That’s okay, the Toyota purchase mirrored my Chevy’s purchase, so consider this the review for Carr Chevy too.
I really don’t have anything to point out that is earth shattering. They have a great selection of used vehicles, everything from the simplest budget sedan to a few sports cars (I think I saw a Corvette) to a decent selection of pickups. Lee, Marty, Cameron and Travis were all very accommodating to me. I am entirely satisfied with my pickup, and I’m pleased with the price and terms of the deal.
That’s really it! No 5^th star because of a friend that complained about them recently and, well, I refuse to give Kuni BMW down the street a 5^th star, so Carr doesn’t get one either.
