I had the best time here. The music was current and eclectic. The food was not anything gourmet or worth writing home about but the Old Bay wings, Buffalo Wings, And nachos and queso we got to munch on were all pretty solid. I liked the bartenders and they poured great drinks. The strike punch signature cocktail was yummy and packed a punch. We went for a birthday party that had approx 20 ppl & we were all accommodated nicely so I would definitely recommend this place for groups. It had a feel like DC’s Lucky Strike but with a more intimate vibe and better food and drinks. I’ll be back.

Very disappointed. I used to order from them a lot and now their food has gone down hill. Order cookies and ice cream twice them came burnt and melted. I called only the second time and they were rude and didn’t really care. Amazing how this place went from my favorite to my least. As a regular customer you would think the value you more

I have attended private functions at Mustang Alley’s and enjoyed the facility each time. However, yesterday afternoon, April 23, 2016, I brought a group of friends(really nice individuals by the way) to experience the venue in preparation for an event that we want to put together, and my experience was less impressive. The female bartender could not have been less inviting. We ordered several drinks as well as several plates of food. Frankly, she didn’t smile once while taking our orders. She also couldn’t be bothered to thank us. I have to say that I was really surprised by her behavior because that has not be the case with in the past with other employees. Perhaps there is a specific staff that handles private events As it stands, while my friends loved the overall vibe of Mustang Alley’s, the overwhelming conversation when we left negative was about the service. I personally hate the bored«I’m doing you a favor by serving you» attitude. The consensus is that we won’t risk our other guests being treated in such a manner and will find another venue

The first step to admitting a problem is identifying it. My soon to be wife and soon to best man came for a night of fun in a place I figured was perfect to pop the question. We went and the door man who sold us the shoes and gane time was very commical and whitty. Made me feel welcomed. We wanted a ten pin lane but they were not available… for whatever reason, we settled for duckpins. I opened a tab and bought a bucket of beers. Seemed a bit pricey but I was ok with it. We played our two hour session and encountered problems the whole time. While we played the sessions, the bowling ball system keep going down. It would not return our balls or reset the pins. It happen so much they had relocated us to a different lane. I was also fine with that. Now to be completly honest, im a nervous nancy. Our 2 hours for $ 90 witch came out to be 4 games was over. It was time to pop the question. I was nervous so i threw another bowling ball down the lane. One of the workers came down the lane from behind the pins with the most disrespectful tone telling us «Y’all know Y’all game over. Y’all gotta bounce.» I was applaud to be spoken to like that by someone being professional. I told the guy I was not going any where until i finished my drinks.(Only because I didnt pop the question yet and I needed more time.) He got his manager. He spoke with his manager before I did and all he insisted is I knew my game was over and i was trying to «break the machine». Im still unaware of how he came to this point because it was my first time here. I did not know it would break the machine and I only threw one ball. That’s a pretty bad system if one duck pin ball thrown down a lane not in gameplay mode could really break the lane, but ok. So the manager says«He told you guys you have to leave.» I tried to pull the manager to side to talk to him about my proposal, apologize for the ball being thrown and ask for more time but he was unwavering. At this time, my soon to be wife, who is only 105 llbs knocked over a beer accidentally and their response was«Your throwing beer? You got to leave now!» Still do not know how he got we threw a beer but at this point I was just so done with the foolishness I decided to gather my party and leave. Worse time ever. Just wanted to have some beers, have some fun and propose to the love of my life. Food was good though. Hats off to the chef.

Love Love Loved this place… Never thought about a Bowling Alley as a great date place — however my opinion has changed– my husband and I invited my brother and his wife for a double date out vs the typical sit down at home meal — I was pleasantly surprised by the decorum– very trendy — nice bar area — comfortable seating — very friendly staff — the food was pretty good and we shared a descent game — we loss but well worth the adventure — I’ll definitely go again — Note it is reservation only so keep that in mind and all parties need to be ON Time — it’s not Free you know

Food was actually all good here(been before; tonight with newbies). Bartenders were cool. The young lady(blonde) serving last night was pretty rude almost intolerable. Being here before I knew the customer service was lacking. Bowling was fun, lanes get stuck. Food and drinks a five but between the guy with the ponytail scolding certain groups whose balls got stuck and the server preferring not to serve certain groups brings this place down. Blah

Not too shabby. It’s great to be able to go bowling without feeling that the shoes are dirty and the area is smoky and whatnot. Growing up in Wisconsin, I always loved bowling, but always hated that. And whereas mozzarella sticks were my thang back in the day, now, as a grown-ass woman, I need to watch all those fried foods and cheeses, so I appreciate the healthy options. That being said, it’s pretty expensive for bowling and the food, albeit healthier, is just ok. Nothing special. Since there are only a few lanes, you have to pay in advance and reserve your lanes sometimes weeks in advance. As a result, your bowling experience is typical fun, but atypical in a great way — less noise and drunken foolishness. I think Mustang Alley’s would be great for a work team outing(we saw one there with a huge spread) or a birthday party or even a casual date night, but if you are just in to keeping it real, save the dough and go to a regular olé bowling alley and call it a night.

I organized a work outing here, and I absolutely had to update my review. The service was SPECTACULAR! Friendly and prompt, which I believe would have been the same if we had not been the only folks in the building. Their food is delicious and fresh, as well. I had the hummus plate, which was to DIE for: fresh and crunchy veggies, warm and chewy pita, delicious hummus, and an unexpected bowl of olives, roasted garlic, and pickled peppers. The burgers, sandwhiches, and pizzas around the table also got rave reviews. As I’ve said before, the vibe here is excellent and the décor is cool. The lanes are clean and well kept, with great comfy seating. We played duckpin, which is always a hilarious and fun time. The scorekeeping equipment was modern, but you still need to remember to self reset, which can be confusing. I have a few more parties to plan in the future, and this will always be at the top of my list.

I almost never write reviews, but I absolutely have to give Mustang Alley’s five stars. My fiancé and I had our first date there over three years ago. It is an awesome place to bowl, have a drink, and get some food. It is also in a pretty cool location, right on top of Heavy Seas Alehouse, which is a fun place to continue drinking after you finish bowling. And I love that it isn’t super crowded. Earlier this month we went back to take engagement pictures there and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. They even wrote us a thank you note! I highly recommend Mustang Alley’s for anyone that likes bowling or just having a good time in a clean, fun atmosphere that has good food, drinks, and service.

Great place for bowling, duckpin bowling, drinks and hanging out. It’s like impossible to get a reservation on the weekends so call ahead. You do need to pay ahead of time when you make the reservation. You reserve for a certain number of hours and pay per hour. Six maximum people to bowl per lane. We got 1.5 hours and the gave us 15 extra minutes since we only had 1.5 rounds to complete our second games. The service was great and friendly. The guy giving out bowling shoes was a big jokester and lots of fun. Drinks and food came out promptly. Wings were good, but difficult to eat while bowling — wish i would’ve thought of that sooner. Hummus platter was quite pleasant as well for those healthier folks. The cucumber crush was a big hit quite tasty and a true Baltimore beverage. Nice beer selection as well. will definitely be back and recommend to others who are looking for a fun afternoon/evening of bowling and drinks.

This is not your typical bowling alley. The décor is «hip» and up-to-date, there is no disgusting bowling shoe smell permeating the room, the service is superior, and the food is good. I mean, it’s bar food, but good bar food. We had pizza, the hummus platter, chicken tenders, and friend pickles/onions, all of which were great. The only thing we didn’t like was the buffalo wings. We LOVE wings, but their sauce was a little off… it seemed to be missing salt or something. Maybe it was a fluke, but they definitely were not good the day we ordered them. I am primarily giving this place 5 stars because of how wonderful the staff was with our group. We had a birthday party for a 3 year old on a Saturday afternoon. There were about eight 2 – 3 year olds and about 12 adults. The staff was very friendly and totally understanding when the kids got a little crazy and ran around the entire place, which was fantastic. There is a lot to be said for not having to worry about rude wait staff when dealing with young children. The staff were also hands on enough to help when we had problems with the lanes(e.g., balls stuck in the gutter, etc.), but they were not so overbearing as to get upset when the kids broke the rules and rolled multiple balls down the lane at once. Food was served at the lanes, so parents could enjoy drinks and snacks while keeping an eye on the kids, which was another plus. One thing to know is that if you want a birthday cake, you have to order it through Mustang Alleys; they do not allow any type of outside food. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a children’s birthday party early in the afternoon on a weekend. Call in advance and reserve the duckpin lanes for small children as the balls are much easier for them to roll(as you probably know). I would also recommend this place for an adult night of dinner and bowling. For a planned adult night, I would recommend calling and reserving a lane in advance just to be safe. We will definitely be back!

If you want to bowl in the Baltimore area, this is where you should go. Cool lanes, awesome bar and good food. Get the crab tots! Parking in the area can be sketchy, unless you park in the garage across the street on Central Ave.

This is a hidden gem in Baltimore. We went there for an afternoon of bowling on a Sunday and were delighted to find this place. Four of us traded in our shoes, grabbed some balls, and bowled! This isn’t your average bowling alley and the prices will confirm that. Bowling is $ 45/hr, so be prepared to dish out some moola. The place is on the second floor and is the swankiest bowling alley I have ever been in. There is great beer and drinks, and some awesome food. This is a great place to go even if you just want a burger. The servers were great, making sure to check on us regularly. The drawbacks are: parking and price The positives are: friendly people, great food and unique bowling experience. They also have duckpin bowling if that is something you want to do. Go and enjoy!

I’ve had several terrific experiences here, varying from individual evenings to group afternoon outings, dates, and bachelor parties. Every time I have been impressed with Mustang Alley’s. I think the service really sets the mood — the bartenders and servers are very accommodating. [Anecdote: I have a great friend who orders like Sally. Yes the one from the movie. So the server told my buddy they had mixed buckets of beer. I cringed. My amigo then proceeds to place a five minute order for two buckets of beer, all different. I was facepalming. The server took the order and was back in a few with the order spot on.] The menu is creative with pub grub style(nachos, onion rings, big sandwiches) and it’s presented well. Plenty of tvs, clean, and spacious, it’s a really fun spot.

This is one of the forgotten gems of Baltimore. With so much going on, it’s easy to forget how much a game of bowling rules, but when you remember… Go here. It’s definitely one of the nicest bowling alleys in the area. Clean! And right above Heavy Seas Brewery, so it’s just a great spot to have a little fun, eat and drink.

I have been here for 2 different bachelorette parties. It’s a great place for a group event. I am not a big fan of bowling, but there are comfy seats, decent bar food and good company. Make sure you call in advance to reserve a lane or you might be disappointed if you’re turned away at the door.

Could be a really fun place but the staff here ruined our party. So unfriendly and rude. We would give more stars if they got all new staff!

This place is nice. Everyone who works here gets 5 stars. To the guys who flirted with me while handing over my bowling shoes to the bartender who smiled and made the best of my ridiculous drink order which went something like«can I get 3 shots but not aggressive shots since im with my boss and can you make them pretty looking and we definitely dont want whiskey or tequila thanks!» I was here for a work happy hour so I got to nibble on most of the menu. The wings are great. The spinach pizza is nice but the regular pepperoni tastes bland like it came from a movie theater. Mozzarella sticks and western egg rolls I they are called were high points Im taking points for some off for some of their policies. I wanted to have the boo’s birthday here. They are very restrictive about the food you can bring in which means none. I was dealing with some very specific allergies its just easier if I bake the cake but they refused to let me bring one I had to pay for a cake they would provide. And I also couldn’t buy the bar for any amount of time just so my party could have open bar for the couple hours we were there. I know some places will let you purchase a package and tour party can bu house wines and tap beer etc but to no avail. That was inconvenient so id say come with about 3 friends and enjoy a game or two before hitting bars but dont think your organizing a party here without jumping through some hoops

Cheap bowling no longer does it for ya? Then come here! Lol To bowl here you must be at least 21. They have a full bar. Lanes must be reserved at least a week in advance. I believe they have 12 lanes. $ 45 for a hour. Up to six can bowl including shoes. When getting blowing shoes you must give them your shoes until you are finished bowling. Music is not the greatest. Good assortment of balls with various weights. Bartender is friendly. Food and drinks are not cheap. All wings there are $ 11. If you do get wings I suggest you try the Thai wings very tasty! Quesadilla was on point too! I did notice that they do parties and cater for their guest. I had a great time with family and friends!

Recently, my friend celebrated her birthday and wanted to spend the evening at Mustang Alleys. In case you’re unaware, Mustang Alleys is a bowling alley with a bar and a restaurant inside. We arrived at 7:30 on a Friday evening and noticed the restaurant area was empty which made me a little uncomfortable. Normally I avoid eating in restaurants that are empty at prime dining times, and I also avoid eating at bowling alleys. But this is where my friend wanted to spend her birthday so I was stuck eating bowling alley food in an empty restaurant. Fortunately, I ended up enjoying the meal much more than I had anticipated. When we sat down, our waiter was very attentive and took our drink orders right away and answered any questions we had about the menu. After ordering a round of drinks, we also decided to share an appetizer as a table. The menu was comprised with American food and other typical bar fare so we split an order of Fried Pickles. I was expecting pickle chips but instead we were given pickle spears that had been battered and fried. When you bit into them, the fried exterior came off for the most part, but the Creole Tarter Sauce they came with was amazing. I actually asked for a side of it to dip my french fries in later. For our main courses, we each ordered our own dish. One friend decided to try the Chicken Quesadillas. She really liked this dish and how it was cut up into small bite-sized pieces so it didn’t make a mess. Inside the quesadilla was shredded chicken, tomatoes, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese. While there was nothing particular special about this dish, it was definitely a hit. Another friend we were with decided to build her own burger. For the meat she picked a piece of grilled chicken and then was able to top it with whatever she wanted. The burger also came with a side salad. This was clearly one of the healthier options on the menu but my friend liked it a lot. For my main course, I decided to order the Buffalo Chicken Wrap because it’s easily my favorite type of sandwich. The wrap was great with a nice balance between the heat from the buffalo sauce and the ranch. The sandwich was good, but there was nothing particularly special about it. Overall, the food at Mustang Alleys was much better than I anticipated and pretty good bar food. But I don’t think I’d go out of my way to eat there again unless I was planning on bowling too.

So much fun! A great place to come and bowl(regular or duckpin) and enjoy drinks and appetizers. The service is excellent. Several people were on hand to help us if we had trouble with the lane and they were quick about it. We also enjoyed having a waiter bring drinks and food to us at our lane, but the option to go to the bar and grab something if we wanted. It’s pricey, but a great night out with friends.

Although I’m not great at it, I do enjoy bowling. I met a group here for an adult birthday celebration which consisted of a 2 hour all you can bowl session and dinner. It was my first visit here — I was pleased with the ambience and cleanliness of the place. The staff was friendly and provided good service. The meal was neither bad nor fantastic –cheese steak and sweet potato fries. The place was small and could use a few more lanes. Over all, it was a good experience and would definitely go back.

Make reservations! Other than that I love this place! Bowling, great music and great food. Clean and well kept, great mix of people. Complaints would be wait staff are hard to keep up with and parking. Parking is a pain. kinda on the outskirts of Fells Point. My favorites are Nachos Jerk Chicken Spring Rolls Spinach Alfredo Pizza I believe they rotate the desserts. but the homemade chocolate cookies with ice cream, is worth the drive and hunt for parking alone. I made the $$$ on the cost of lane rental
