Loved every part of my early afternoon experience at this place. Try the house hot sauce! Very hot.

I have never eaten at One-Eyed Mike’s, but my boyfriend raves about the appetizers. I love One-Eyed for the bar. It is a great low-key spot to go to with friends on a weekend night. It’s busy but you can usually find a seat and you can actually hear each other talk. Even though I am not a fan of Grand Marnier, it’s fun to have the bartenders make you a yummy drink with the liquor. There was one night I could not decide what mixed drink I wanted so they made me a variety of concoctions. The bartenders could not be friendlier and a lot of them are very good looking(for all my single ladies). They will even serve you a 40 of natty boh in an ice bucket.

This place was recommended by the manager of another restaurant that where we had supper. They are known for their Grand Marnier drinks. Bartenders were on point! Everyone was laughing and having a great time! The place is small and very intimate. I will definitely be back to this one!

Went here during the Baltimore Fells Point food tour and loved the concept so much we came back for Sunday brunch a few weeks later. The food was AMAZING and the drinks were even better. The staff was professional and extremely friendly, and it’s clear they make an effort to get to know the locals and frequent customers. It makes for a very cool, personal atmosphere which is hard to do in a city. My husband and I plan on making this a part of our weekend routine whenever time allows!

This place rocks! Get the lobster Mac and cheese app. One of the East Coasts best bars. Wes is an awesome barman.

A cool little spot in Fells Point. It had a full bar with a small dinning room out back. We went on a Sunday night around 6. The bar area was full because of a football game, but we had no problem getting a table in the back. Staff was efficient, knowledgeable and served the food quickly. They had the entire menu of specials memorized and answered several questions off the top of their heads(ex. market price for crabs, etc). Also, our waiter’s knowledge of the beers on tap was really helpful. Someone in my party described some general ideas about what kind of beer she liked, he proposed a few, described them and then brought over some samples. As for the food, I got the crab cake sandwich which was $ 16… pretty reasonable for that neighborhood. It was about the size of my fist, had the lettuce, tomato and onion and a choice of sides. This was probably the best crab cake I have had. A lot of places you go the crab cakes are either filled with bread crumbs and mayonnaise and/or smothered in Old Bay and then burnt to death in the fryer. When I get a crab cake, I want to taste the crab and for the cake to be mostly crab. This one fit the bill. Chunks of crab, lightly held together with a small amount of breading and enough spice to accentuate the crab, but not overpower it. My friend got the appatizer beef nachos as her meal. They looked really good, and she said so as well. It was also a huge portion. One minor critique here was that there was so much stuff heaped on top that it was hard to get to the chips, and towards the end, the chips were soggy. But, as nacho problems go, I’d rather have too much stuff on top than not enough.

Excellent food, super friendly staff, great bar, and comfortable atmosphere. The crab cakes are SOGOOD. So much crab, they’re so filling I really didn’t need the second cake. Unless you’re starving I’d recommend getting the crab cake sandwich and eating it without the bun if you’re just interested in the cake itself. The brussel sprouts and wild rice on the side are wonderful and tender. Prices are a bit high, though for the amount of crab in the crab cakes it’s not so bad. Definitely a special occasion sort of dish.

The perfect neighborhood bar. Awesome staff, delicious food with plenty off menu items, great music, and a cool concept. For those who are looking for something more local, perhaps off the beaten path(can’t say if that’s true as I’m not from Baltimore), One-Eyed Mike’s is the place. Ask Kevin and the wait staff for recommendations.

My food was well prepared and it is a close and intimate setting. I ordered the turkey sandwich and the flavor was spot on. The drink menu was great and the Manhattan with the Gran Marnier was a great mix… don’t have too many because they will bite you! The price was fair but the menu is a bit small

For a great bar scene, food and drink selection, One-Eyed Mike’s is one of the best in the area. They have a nice selection of wines which I prefer. They also have a cocktail list including a bunch of cocktails that are made with GM. I’ve tasted some of these too and they are tasty and sweet. They also have a consistently great staff here. They are all professional in how they treat their customers but also are friendly. Their crab cake is awesome. It has lots of crab meat with very little filler and it’s always cooked perfectly. The Adobe chicken tacos are another favorite of ours. We love the taste of it and the corn tortillas are definitely authentic. We also come for their chili. My husband and I come here all the time and it’s a great spot in the fall as it gets cooler and darker earlier.

While on a business trip in Baltimore, I felt tempted searching for an amazing crab cake. I landed on this place after trying Thanes Street Oyster house — which was packed an with no waiting list!!! Don’t let yourself be scared by this dark bar. The crab cake was amazing! Full of crab meat, seasoned to perfection. The sides were alright, I replaced the rice with brussel sprouts and veggie medley, not much flavor there. Great experience, I am glad I didn’t waste my time waiting in Thames SOH.

This used to be one of my favorite hidden little spots. Now the patio closes early and that makes me sad. The bar is small, but stay until closing and do a shot in the dark.

I went to this place on recommendation from a local tour guide. He recommended that it had«the best crab cakes in the city.» The crab cakes are good, but I’ve definitely had better. Like some other local businesses, it is a big fan of Grand Marnier. I, personally, have never been such a fan.

I liked one-eyed Mikes i remember having bookmarked this place for quite sometime. My cousin was in town and a friend of hers recommended we go. The food was great, they have tons of specials and i mean tons. The drinks were decent and delicious with a Grand Marnier theme, at least the ones i ordered. I ordered a beef tip sandwich, told them to hold of on the cheese, my cousins and a bunch ordered lobsters, sliders, steaks, crab cakes etc. they all enjoyed it. We got a seat in the Patio at the back which i intend to do again.

Sadly, I can only give one star rating for service. My review is based on dinner menu, food quality(freshness of seafood), taste and value. Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. * Crab meat, lobster meat, and tuna were all chewy and old. It was obvious that it was previously frozen. * Soup was overly salty — and I am not being subjective on the salty scale. * Drinks were overly too sweet for someone who love ice cream and sweets! Any fast food joint across the globe is better than this place and has better quality food. Please preserve your health and go elsewhere — since there are tons of bars/restaurants nearby.

Came here on Saturday with my girlfriend and I called 45 minutes ahead to make a reservation. We entered into the place and the bar was packed. We had to walk through a large crowd to their dining room and we were relieved to see that the dining room was not at raucous as the bar(completely empty). We were seated at a 2-top next to a servers station and the bathroom. Given my previous experiences at restaurants I knew this was a terrible spot to be sitting so I requested to be moved. Our server checked with another server to see if he was cool with swapping and he reluctantly said yes. Thankfully we moved because not one minute after we moved there was a line of 3 guys standing next to our previous table waiting to use the single bathroom. Our server greeted us, took our drink order and told us he’d be back to let us know the night’s specials. Another server dropped our drinks and told us our server would be right over. Our server came back and spent a full 5 minutes detailing the list of the night’s specials recited FROMMEMORY! I was extremely impressed with this and told him so. We ordered a crab cake for our appetizer as I had to try and authentic version of this Maryland treat. This was dropped about 5 minutes after we placed our order and it was OUTSTANDING! Almost zero filler and all lump crab meat, easily the best part of the meal. Our entrees arrived another 5 minutes after we finished our crab cake. I ordered the lobster BLT which was probably the best spin on a BLT I have ever had. The lobster was obviously fresh as was the tomato and romaine lettuce. I was slightly underwhelmed with the amount of bacon on the sandwich, but it ended up being the perfect amount of food. The asparagus stalks on the side were small, but I guess I couldn’t expect much from a side dish for a sandwich. My girlfriend ordered a pineapple pork loin(special that night) which was excellent as well. Our server came back after our entrees were finished and inquired on desert. We declined, but I asked if we could have a couple more drinks at our table. He replied«Absolutely, take as much time as you’d like!». Overall I give this place 5 stars because I was blown away by the service here. Not only did we have our server taking care of us, but we had a team of servers/bus boys making sure our drinks/waters were always full. Our bill was a little pricey, but was well worth a great dinner at this fantastic joint!

Came here with friends and did not know anything about One-Eyed Mike’s. When I entered the place, all I saw was a bar and about 20 – 25 people seating and mostly standing around the bar tables opposite to the bar. It was small and tight. VERY small and tight. We were there to dine so we kept walking to the very back. To my surprise, there was a dining area in the back despite the bar scene that welcomes you as you enter the place. We, however, did not stop there, we kept walking more to the back. We exited through this back door and then we were outside in the«patio». It was this quint little area in the back with wood panels surrounding the patio to serve as walls to keep the cold out and warm in. The patio was cabin-like-patio surrounded by wooden panels. There were also cute/hipster plants on the walls and lights and heater hanging from the ceiling. Although it was a little chilly outside, it was nice and cozy in there. The food selection was not that bad. The appetizers were more interesting than the main entrée. They also had a good selection of sandwiches. When I ordered, I did not order anything from the entrée list of the sandwich list. I went ahead and ordered three of their appetizers. I had the Blackened Tuna Sashimi, Duck Breast Sliders, and Adobo Chicken Tacos. My favorite among the three was the Tuna. The slices of tuna were very fatty and it being blackened added so much flavor to it. The sliders were my second best. The price of the sliders was reasonable considering it was duck. The sliders had this awesome kick to it. Every bite was flavorful. The only downside was the presentation — it was a little too plain(no sauce, no veggies, no garnish). The third dish was the taco. Two words, pulled chicken. Another two words, no flavor. I would pass on this next time. If you want some flavor, put 2 – 3 slices of jalapeño peppers in the taco and milk that lemon that they gave you. Now to service. The people at One-Eyed Mike’s are friendly and will surely make you feel at home. They were on point. Just had a little issue with the bill and receipts. We had a pretty big group so they weren’t sure how to charge our group with us paying with cash and 5 credit cards. One of the cards was not charged and one did not get a receipt, they were able to fix it before we left.

My expectations were a bit low when we stopped in here for dinner one night in Fell’s Point. I felt like the whole Grand Marnier theme was just going to give this place some sort of kitchy themed restaurant feel, but overall the food and the service were pretty good. I went with the crab cake dinner, which at $ 27 seems expensive, but I assure you it was all crab and no filling. In fact the dinner with the side vegetable was a lot of food. Drink wise, aside from the Grand Marnier cocktails, they had a nice selection of local craft beers and the bartenders were really attentive. Don’t let the front of the restaurant fool you, there is a nicer dining area in the back. The only drawback is that you need to walk through the dining room and you are basically standing next to someones table while waiting to use the bathroom. I feel like that’s more annoying for whoever gets that table. All in all, not a bad choice.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to hit up some appetizers. It was cold and windy and this was the first place along Aliceanna that we could pop into. It was like 4 pm so I figured it wouldn’t be that busy… wrong. The bar area was packed and loud. We ended up snagging a table in the back. My main issue is that it was so loud in this room we could barely hear ourselves think. The waiter was very good and accommodating. The drink menu isn’t huge and options are limited. They obviously had bottles of Grand Marnier here… see other reviews. We ended up just ordering some apps. Here’s the run down: Nachos with chicken. Lobster Mac and Cheese, crab cake, duck sliders, and Hummus. The Nachos were ok, nothing special. I’m pretty sure I could have made them at home. The Lobster Mac and cheese was really good. There was a lot of lobster in there and the cheese sauce was quite good. The crab cake was really good as well. Lots of lump crab meat and a really good mustardy side sauce to go with it. The Duck sliders were good, ground duck formed into patties, and spicy. The sauce was good but I wish the patties were just a little bigger. Last but not least, the hummus. This also came with a side of olive tapenade. These were both solid items and I enjoyed them both. Overall this place was cool. The service and food were good, but the noise killed it for us. We were literally rushing to get out of there because some people got loaded up on that Grand Marnier! I would go back but I would need to be ready to lose my voice.
