Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant

I’ve been here a couple of times before but havent written a review, so I figure now would be as good a time as ever. Today I wanted something different and decided to order the «Beef with Hot Garlic Sauce.» Good choice, as it was pretty tasty and left me super full. I liked that it had cabbage and scallions, which added to the taste. While I would order it again, it’s not a «go-​to» selection, as I would definitely try something else in order to solidify that top spot. But it was good either way. My main gripe is that they don’t have your typical fried chicken wings and similar novelties (As far as I saw) However, the service was good and something tells me this wont be my last visit.

I called to place an order like I’ve done at least 20 times before but this time a different person answered the phone. From the moment she heard my voice she was sooo unnecessarily rude. She treated me as if I slept with her boyfriend or something. I asked one simple question about a substitution and I swear she took it personally. Then she said «We can’t substitute it and if you don’t like it then you don’t order it.» HUH? She said do you want it or not? I wanted to say something very rude to her and hang up the phone but the food is so good and fast that I just couldn’t do it. The young lady who answered the phone reluctantly told me her name was «Maria». She obviously has no friends with that attitude.

Food here is consistently good. Tends to be on the healthier side for Chinese. I am vegetarian but friends who eat meat like also.

Tried once bc a neighbor recommended. Was nor impressed with garlic shrimp or mangolion beef that was not good at all. Will not be back.

Amazing, simply amazing! We ordered delivery and the service was fast and courteous. The delivery guy called me señor, which I thought was so polite. When I was fumbling in my pocket for a cash tip he said «your wife already included the tip when she ordered». Amazing honesty. The food was DELICIOUS with huge portion sizes. You simply HAVE to try the crab puffs; they’re huge, crisp and lots of them. We can’t wait to go there and visit in person!

Delivery was fast (30 Minutes) and the food was crispy and warm.

Delivery tonight was chicken lo mein. Received four season lo mein which has shrimp. Fiancé deathly allergic and took 2 bites and went in anaphylaxis shock!
Epi pen and Benadryl administered. A$$hole owner overcharged and sent correct order over «right away» and thinks situation is ok.
Argued repeatedly that because CORRECT order sent over it was fine. And that «only couple cent difference» in price FAILING to understand medical concern!
JACK– the owner… You are horrible. Basic health code and medical understanding could have resulted in death!
Travis County Health code will be contacted asap. You need to be shut down!
DO NOT EVER ORDER HERE!!!

The food arrive in plenty of time, i ordered online so i cant speak to the service though the order was 100% accurate.
The food itself was not good, We ordered 4 seasons pork for her and general tsos for me. The flavor on the pork was fine and the rice was rice. The main issue was the chicken. I’m fine with things being heavily breaded if there is actually meat beneath said breading, in this case it was sauce, breading, more breading, and then something that was less like chicken than something you would expect to find in a tv dinner chicken nugget. I was looking forward to this after reading some glowing reviews on here, maybe the fare for dine-​in is higher quality, but as is i won’t be returning here and actually threw most of the «food» away

So we wanted to get Chinese and we decided to go with this place based on other Unilocal reviews, we went with this one and I’m kinda disappointed,
The service to start with, they were kinda slow but I mean Austin traffic is Austin traffic. However when I called to let the lady know I forgot to add my gate code to my apartment the lady rushed me off the phone didn’t even show any care about it, didn’t offer to call the driver to let him know, just said he’ll call if he needs it, but luckily I guess someone let him in the gate.
Now the food, I got sweet and sour chicken Which the chicken wasn’t hot, it was chewy and tastes like it’s been sitting and not fresh. My boyfriend got the duck which appeared to be hot and looked appetizing .
The price was okay however I expected ALOT more chicken than I though, but you get what you get. My boyfriend definitely got more duck than I did chicken

The lemon chicken is the basic Americanized flour battered chicken with canned pineapple and a very thick corn starched lemon sauce. The taste of the sauce was alright but has the consistency of jello. Yuk! The sweet and sour pork was cooked the same way with canned pineapple and green peppers and the sauce has way too much ginger in it, though not as thick. Overall, very Americanized and nothing special. Have tried several Chinese restaurants now in Austin but still have yet to find one that has good Chinese food. Are there any authentic Chinese restaurants around Austin at all? So disappointing that so many Chinese restaurants all taste the same with the same menus, either batter fried meats with way too starchy sauces or the same old tasting brown sauces for most of their menu dishes. Sad!
I would rather eat at Panda Express, which even though it is fast food and limited dishes, the food there still taste much better. Although, the dishes are sometimes too salty and fried rice dry and lumpy, majority of the times, they are still better and cheaper than any of the Chinese restaurants we have tried so far.

Always amazing, hot, fast food here! I order delivery from them all the time. The people I speak with by phone are always very friendly. Delivery time is always short and I love that. The food is hot and delicious every single time. I love their crab puffs, their wonton soup is amazing and their General tso chicken is the best I’ve had in this part of Austin. I haven’t been to dine in but I definitely plan on it. Would recommend anyone to go here for fast delivery and great food. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Sometimes they mess up your order, but they always make it up to you with a credit or replacement. The food is pretty good and delivery is fast. The driver is always friendly. We always order on line and pay on line too. Even the tip is added on! I will continue to order from them when we have Chinese food for lunch! :)

I’ve been going to and ordering from Four Seasons for years now. Food is always wonderful, service is awesome and quick. Love the Sweet n Sour chicken.

Ordered the sesame chicken lunch. The breading was soggy and not crisp at all. The chicken itself was terrible quality and had the consistency of a processed chicken nugget. Will not be going back here.

Ordered General Tso’s chicken w/​no broccoli, along with chicken fried rice. The Gen Tso’s came full of broccoli and the chicken was disgusting. Like old leather. Very little sauce. I threw it all away.
The chicken fried rice was me de facto dinner and was passable, but nothing special.

Solid lunch specials for Chinese here. Their prices are in the $ 7 price range which is great for a cup of soup, egg roll, rice and entrée. They stay busy with the lunch rush but don’t let that deter you, they get the food out ASAP!
I was really happy with the services the past few times I went. First time, place was packed, sat me down with a glass of water and asked me what soup I wanted while I looked over what I wanted to order. Put in my order and then soup came out for me to eat while my cook was getting cooked.
Water glass kept getting topped off, once you’re done, the check is placed on the table. You get up, pay at the counter and head out. Straightforward and friendly people working here. I saw several folks that looked like they have been here many many times as they conversed with the owners and chef about their Thanksgiving holiday plans which was friendly to see. Also saw their son helping out clearing tables, so polite!
Stop by if you’re ever in Wells Branch proximity, craving Chinese or not ready to spend money at a Garbo’s price point if starving. I’m going to lay down from my good food coma now.

The General Tso’s can sometimes be bready or fatty, but otherwise they are usually fast and very good. I love the pot stickers!
The restaurant appears to be run by a very kind and humble family and we should support local businesses like these as much as possible.

My friend and I walked in for carry out. The gentleman at the register was very kind and offered us some menus. He was very patient with us and our loads of questions. It was our first time coming to Four Seasons. When we ordered our food came out no more than 10 – 15 minutes later. In that time, they handled themselves very calmly and professionally as they answered endless calls for delivery and takeout.
When we got back home, the food looked beautiful. I ordered the general tao’s chicken luncheon special. It was amazing, cooked to perfection and hot all the way through.
Overall, I am very satisfied with Four Seasons service and delicious food. I will definitely recommend and return to try another option on the large menu of items that they offer!

I have eaten take out from Four Seasons in the past and was satisfied so I decided to actually eat there yesterday since my daughter invited me to lunch. The seating was a bit cramped as the lady seated next to us bumped me chair a couple of times.
The service was really fast! We had our drink order taken and delivered within 2 or 3 minutes of being seated. We also had soup served before we had made our entrée selection which was a plus since I was hungry from forgetting to eat breakfast.
I had the Four Seasons Fried Rice and my daughter had Rainbow Shrimp. My fried rice tasted fresh and was not overly greasy as I’ve experienced with some other restaurants. It also had an ample supply of veggies. I do wish it had a bit more beef and shrimp, but then again I love beef and shrimp and don’t know if there is ever enough in anything I eat. But anyway… My daughter was impressed with the size and portion of shrimp as well as the freshness of the veggies in the dish.
I will definitely try them for dinner real soon just to see if I get more beef and shrimp in my combination fried rice. And for the fast service and hot and sour soup.

My family and I ordered from here again. You got to love Chinese food delivery! They are pretty quick and the food is fresh and hot.
We ordered Broccoli Beef, Chicken Lo mein, Shrimp Lomein, Fried Dumplings and 6 cans of coke.
The food was delivered & the delivery guy was apologizing to me because he was 4 minutes late. Which was understandable because I ordered int he down poor of rain. Anyways my family and I go to sit down to eat and they didn’t deliver us Broccoli beef they delivered Beef and peppers. I called the restaurant and told them what happened. The woman on the phone offered me to have credit instead for my next order. I explained to her it was the one thing my son had ordered to eat. we all would be eating except him. So she said Ok we will deliver to you. I said OK. Put all the food in microwave except the beef and peppers. I figured it would be another hour and then we could eat as a family.
To my surprise there was a KNOCK on my door with in 15 minutes super hot Broccoli beef and they told me to keep the Beef and peppers. With an apology.
I love this place. We will order again!
