Dryer Vent Wizard

I’m going to just going to pile on here and highly recommend Bob the DVW if you are having issues like it takes 2 – 3 cycles to dry your clothes and your dryer vent has not been cleaned in years. Bob arrived right on time, explained the process, and got to work. Our vent was clogged up really bad from the dryer right to the egress point on the side of the house. It was nerdvana this AM to be able to dry my clothes in about 30 minutes as opposed to an hour plus. Oh and as a bonus he found about 50 cents and an old Costco membership card in the vent! ;^) Yah Bob!!!

We called the Dyer Vent Wizard after paying another vent service technician who apparently didn’t know what he was doing. While lint was a big problem, the real problem was that the exhaust pipe running from the dryer, between floors, had broken. He was able to cut through the drywall in the garage, repair the pipe and make some improvement to increase airflow. This guy is very knowledgable and passionate about dryer ventilation. He may cost a little more than others, but he does the job right. I wish we had called him first rather than wasting money and time on the other guy.

Bob did a fantastic job with our dryer vent. Came out promptly, did a very thorough job, and charged a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

My dryer is 18 years old and I get the dryer vents/​ducts cleaned maybe every three years. Highly recommend Bob — for Austin and Lakeway. Nice guy, small franchise, you call them, you get him. He came same day I called!

Just a quick note to tell everyone about a great experience that I had with a company called Dryer Vent Wizard.
Bob Bryfogle owns Dryer Vent Wizard, which is exactly what it sounds like, a drier vent cleaning company.
I have a vent that goes up through the roof. Tried to clean it myself. Bought the «brush on a stick» and chocked it up in my drill. Did no good.
Hooked up the air compressor… tried to close it off and blow it out. Did no good.
Made a drier vent voodoo doll and had a séance around a fire of smoldering clothes lint. Did no good.
Talked to Bob.
He came out and did a safety inspection. Bob was able to clean the vent but he also removed the flammable (Yes…FLAMMABLE!!!) vent hose tubing (who freakin’ knew that plastic and foil vent hoses are flammable? Those hoses are a significant part of the seventeen thousand drier fires that we have in the US each year?)
Bob did all kinds of other stuff, cleaning and testing. Had a pile of equipment… looked like a HazMat team had arrived. Bob worked on it for at least a couple of hours. Also checked the washer hoses. (did you know rubber washer hoses are supposed to be changed every two years? I require that my tenants use them.)
He is a great guy, does a very thorough job and when he leaves, you have a safe, working drier vent.
I am VERY glad that I called him. Nice guy. Works hard. Worth every penny.
