Since this is my first experience with a medical spa I did not feel I had the knowledge to rate it 5(as good as it gets) but I was extremely pleased with my visit. I was able to get an appointment within days of my call. Both on the phone and in the office, the staff was friendly and professional. It was clean and comfortable. The woman who performed my photofacial was very gentle and knowledgable. She thoroughly explained everything about the procedure before doing anything and«checked in» with me frequently during the procedure. I have had excellent results from the first treatment and look forward to my next session. This procedure was recommended by my dermatologist but because I took advantage of a Groupon I am getting three treatments for less than the price of one at his office. I would not hesitate to recommend Aspasia to friends.

Kathy Griffin and I have a lot in common… An unfortunate trash mouth and the love for«the dentist».(Code for plastic surgeon) As a veteran of botox and a couple other so named fillers, I have tried a few«dentists» around town with varied results and pricetags. I was gearing up for my sister’s wedding and knowing I would be standing at the end of the isle with a few young, tan gorgeous gals, some sprucing up was in order. After compiling my long list of «needs», it was obvious some budgeting was called for. I remembered seeing a sign at Aspasia Spa for all noted procedures, and since it was in the same shopping center of my own work, and at only $ 10.00 a unit per«cavity», I swiftly made an appointment. I was greeted on the phone with a very pleasant, accomodating, patient person and when I arrived, greeted with the same enthusiasm an politeness. I immediately liked Dr. Erella. I told him my previous experience and noted my complaints of former doctors. He explained in detail how he would try to give me a better outcome. Needless to say, I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The injections were pretty painless and the outcome was exactly as discussed. Overall a great experience. I would recommend Aspasia to anyone looking for that«perfect smile»!!!

I bought a groupon for the TriActive Laser which consisted of 5 total treatments. Maybe I am picky because I too am a health professional, but my first session was terrible. There was no explanation of what was to be done, how it worked, and what I will feel. The technician talked the entire session about herself and all her personal drama. I was mentally exhausted by the end of the session. Fortunately that was the only time I had to subject myself to such torture, as the next sessions were with a different tech with a much quieter demeanor. Overall I felt the place was unprofessional and lacked enthusiasm. Needless to say I will not return.

What a lovely experience at Aspasia! I called on Monday and was seen Thursday, could have gone Wednesday but my schedule wouldn’t allow it! I was greeted professionally and warmly, I immediately felt good about my choice. I was told about every step of my procedure and it was perfect! I plan on going back this month and I would highly recommend Aspasia to anyone! Love the location too!

I bought a groupon for Aspasia so I coudl get a photofacial before my wedding. However, there have been many difficulties getting scheduled. I even scheduled my first one elsewhere since they couldn’t fit me into the schedule. I’ve had to schedule several months in advance. I had an appointment last Thursday, and I got a call on Wednesday to let me know that the machine they use for photofacials ‘Isn’t working.” They said they would call me back when the machine gets repaired. I’ve already tried getting scheduled 6 times! At this point, I’m asking for a refund on my groupon so I can go elsewhere because I’m getting married in two months. I don’t know if they’ll be able to schedule me before then! :P However, after reading the first review… maybe I am lucky that I had to reschedule 6 or 7 times and never made it in!

WOW. I bought a groupon for a photofacial here and it was such a horrible experience that I had to get up and leave in the middle of the session. I’m confused about why I am the first review for this place, but I unfortunately must say that I have never been in such an uncomfortable situation as a consumer. I’m going to give it my best effort to summarize all the atrocious things that happened with this visit. When I first arrived, there was a health department truck parked directly in front of the office. As I checked in, instead of my nurse/technician introducing herself(no name tag either), she prefaces the session by explaining that an ex-employee was trying to give them a hard time by calling the health dept. and get the company in trouble. As we sit down in the room, I am expecting a consultation that was described in my purchase details… Or in the least, a brief discussion of how the photofacial works, what I can expect, etc. Nope. She starts smearing gel on my face and asks what I want fixed. I explain that I don’t like how big my pores are and she responds, «Yeah, I can zap the sh** out of those. You want me to turn the laser up really high?» I’m utterly confused by this. I’m embarrassed to say that I let her begin the procedure against my better judgement. Her ‘bedside manner’ continued to be vulgar, unprofessional, and at times just bizarre. Other commentary included discussing her separation from her spouse, putting her dog down, and asking me if I would mind using the laser on her ‘pubes’. Man, I really wish I was making this up. I decided that I had enough and sat up trying to be polite and asked that she stopped. As she cleaned the gel off of my face, she managed to rub it all in my hair and across the front of my shirt. She kept apologizing and calling me baby repeatedly, then ended the session by offering me a job and stating that she could certify me herself. As I walked out, traumatized and speechless, I ran into one of the health inspectors present and asked for his card. Without having much of a chance to talk to him, the same woman who ‘treated me’ approached him heatedly asking if he was harassing her client. I am still so confused and in disbelief that things like this happened in a professional, medical environment. My complaints outlined in this review will be submitted to Groupon, BBB, Health Dept, etc., although it may not be necessary as it seems the business is working hard to shut itself down already. In summary, DON’T GOHERE.
