I had high hopes for this place because the bee cave/lakeway area needs a better variety of restaurants(PLEASENOMOREFREAKINGBANKS). Regardless, I was highly disappointed with Nacholicious. First and foremost, this place is all about building your own plate of nachos– and what pre-tell is the staple food of nachos? CHIPS. Yes, CHIPS. And their chips were stale. Stale and tasteless. That should be the STAPLE you don’t skimp on as a Nacho-only based restaurant– but alas they did. They topping were all right– I had the BBQ pork which was ok… but really everything else was pretty sub-par, bland and tasteless. The salsa had no flavor what so ever. My husband HATED his entire nacho plate and had to throw it away. Second– You are a new business and you want to impress and create a customer base. NOT treat them as semi-intelligent. I had a coupon from value-pak in hand and the first thing the lady says to me when I walk in the door is, «What’s the expiration date on that?» and instead of doing the«smart business» thing and accept the coupon and gain my respect as a new customer. She basically told me to wait untill the next value pak. REALLY? That’s the first impression you’re going to give me on how you run your business? That’s just poor customer service. I didn’t want anything offered on the coupon anyways… but that was just bad business in my opinion. We wont be going back.

If you are going to open a gourmet Nacho shop with upscale items such as Buffalo Meat, then I would reason that cheese in a can should not be on the menu. Perhaps there are people who like stadium cheese, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a sign on it that said Processed Cheese Food, or Nacho Cheese, instead of Cheddar? If you call it Cheddar, make a real cheddar sauce. The owners should treat each other with respect in front of the customers. This place is all chips and no cheese!
