Amazing food! Tried this place for lunch today and was really impressed! The service was quick and friendly, there were lots of options to choose from, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Delicious food, excellent customer service, very friendly and cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend Afia grill especially to those people who like Mediterranean cuisine. Also if you are in a mood to try something new this place would be the one you would want to try and go.

I don’t agree with any of the bad reviews of this place. I had the chicken kabob plate and my wife had the combo lamb/chicken kabob plate. Both were fantastic! The soup course was a lentil soup and it was great as well. And how nice was the owner?!? He was genuinely interested in how we liked the food, if we would come back, etc. great food, great experience and good prices. We will be back!

Today was absolutely delicious! I ordered the lentil soup it was nice and spicy and warmed my tummy if you have a cold it will definitely get rid of it, I also had some Hummus that tasted rich and flavorful. For the main course I ordered the Mensef that was WoW!!! So good!!! I also ordered a whole chicken that was succulent and very well seasoned both dishes were so absolutely scrumdiddlyumptious! This will definitely be our regular place to eat for Middle Eastern food for now on, Five stars! all thumbs up!!!. I I have been to many Middle Eastern restaurants in my endeavors, and I have to say this place has proven to be on the top of my list of one of the best. I really enjoyed coming here I like the atmosphere and the prices are very good you can come out if you’re paying less than $ 6 for a sandwich for lunch and that is great and they have great prices for dinner too. I really suggest that you come in here and try this place it is absolutely scrumdidlyumptious ! Thanks to you Hussein.

I passed this place once before when going to Dora’s Mexican(It’s in the same parking lot), and I am partial to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. I was in the mood for Falafel so I stopped in today. It used to be called Arboosh but the sign said under new management. It’s a small place and it seems clean, but it wasn’t too busy. I went up to the counter to order and the girl came around the counter to stand next to me to take my order. At first I thought she wanted to get past me so I stepped back but she stayed with me. Creeped me out a bit at first. I ordered Falafel, «We don’t have Falafel today» she says. I looked at her and said, «WHHHAAAATTTTT?» It’s 7pm on a Friday night, how does a Mediterranean restaurant run out of Falafel? That’s like a bank running out of money. No, it’s like a tire shop running out of air. It’s the dumbest thing I ever heard. But I was hungry, so I asked her what was in the Sambosa. «We don’t have Sambosa.» What do you mean, it’s on the menu? Fine, I ordered the Shawarma beef plate. You have that, right? «Yes.» Oh goody. And let me get a fountain drink. «Our fountain doesn’t work.» Oh for petes sake! «You can get a soda from the dessert display.» Thanks, I’ll just have water. She was a very sweet girl so I didn’t want to give her a hard time. She brought out some lentil soup in a small bowl. A touch of spice, pretty good flavor, but cold. Not even room temperature, cold. She also brought out a pita(it was a good pita, hard to screw those up when you buy them commercially and don’t make them in house), and a small bowl of hummus. It was 26° outside, I should have set the Hummus outside to warm it up(it was ice box cold.) A little bland too. The plate was just the rice and beef with a couple pieces of raw white onion and one slice of tomato burnt to charcoal on one side. The rice was fine, uneventful. Yellow jasmine rice. The Shawarma had ok flavor, but it was tough. Super tough. I don’t know how authentic spit roasted Shawarma can be tough, but I doubt it actually is done on one of the authentic rotisserie things like they show in the picture. The worst part was there was a guy sitting eating at the table next to me. It seemed everyone there knew him, people from the back came out and talked to him several times. This guy ate like an animal. He took a spoon of something from one of several bowls of stuff. He’d drop a dollop into his giant plate of rice. Then he took his hand and mashed it into a ball and shoved it into his face like he hadn’t eaten in days. Then he repeated the process. He had rice and shmutz on his hands, face, shirt and all over the table. An employee came by and he held up his plastic bottle of water and demanded that the employee unscrew the top for him(guess his hands were too greasy). Totally lost my appetite. $ 14.03 was the damage to the wallet. The damage to the psyche is substantially greater. Driving through the parking lot afterwards I saw another place in the same exact lot called Saj Mediterranean Restaurant. Next time I’ll give that place a try. You may want to skip the nightmares and just go straight there.

This establishment used to be another Middle Eastern establishment by the name of Tarboosh. I really do not know what happened to Tarboosh. I think someone took over it with a different owner and NOW named is as Afia Grill. We went here after work on Saturday August 16th2014. Time was about 20:10hrs ish. When we enter this establishment the Décor of this establishment looks the same as the previous Middle Eastern establishment that is used to be here. From the Menu we opt to have the following items : * Lamb Mendi($ 11.99) * Shawerma Plates($ 11.99) * Samosas($ 4.99) * 3 Bottled Drinks each of($ 1.49) From my conversations with one of the staffs, they are a Middle Eastern family running this establishment. To which Country, I cannot recall. Maybe next time, I should write down or NOTETOSELF: Remember The Tiny Details… At first, Hubs wanted to have Biryani. But our server said, they RANOUTOF Biryani that evening. Ohh Well, hence Hubs opt to have the Lamb Mendi instead. Decent Dinner, with reasonable pricing and portions. However, I am NOTWOW with my order of Shawarma Plates coz the meat was too dry for my liking and they do not include the Pickles. Yes, our order comes with Salad of some kind, Hummus and Tahini. The Lamb Mendi comes with Saffron Rice, Lamb with Bones, Onions, Peppers, Chopped Potatoes and Fried Silvered Almonds and some sauce sprinkled with some herbs on it. As for my order of Shawarma, it comes with Meat, and Rice sprinkled with the Potatoes and some herbs of some kind. So Disappointing for this dish. NOTETOSELF: Next time DONOTORDER this Dish. *SADFACEINDEED* Only after we eating our Dinner in the midst of it, we ask if our order comes with Pita Bread. Then the server provide us the Pita Bread. Hmmm… *BIGSIGH* Even after that, comes our order of Appetizer aka Samosas, which perhaps might have«Save» The Day coz its comes out Piping hot from the Fryer. It comes with 4 Samosas. We left this establishment at about 21:00hrs ish. Take note this establishment ISIN The Village On The Park the same vicinity of, Tuesday Morning which is a couple steps away, TJ Maxx and ROSS. Its in the Dayton Triangle Neighborhood in Aurora. The Cross Streets is between S. Parker Road and E. Iliff Avenue. Yes, they have potential in which I am hoping for to visit in the future coz there are other dishes in their extensive Menu that they provide. Such items are Kabsa, Qoozi, Mensef, BoKhari and Koba to name a few. We hope to return, and wish them well in their Business Endeavors and Future Undertakings. Afia Grill 2353 S.
