Excellent food! This is the best«fast» Mediterranean food I’ve ever had, and probably the best«fast» food of any type. I put fast in quotes because they actually make the food fresh when you order. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting. And finally, the customer service was outstanding as well. Definitely a place to go multiple times. Tip: get the falafel. BEST falafel I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried falafel many, many times. You won’t be disappointed.

I was actually really disappointed after trying Saj for the first time. I was excited at the thought of having fresh, fast Greek food nearby, but the reality was totally underwhelming. I had a Greek salad and asked for it with no tomatoes(as I have an allergy). The no tomato request seemed simple enough but ended up requiring a lot of explanation on my part. The biggest letdown of my experience was that I added chicken, and instead of bringing out a new batch, I got the scraps that were left which were far less than an acceptable serving. Instead of having normal strips of chicken pictured on their menu, I received burnt little crumbs on top of my salad. Sad to say, I don’t think I’ll be back.

This place is super good. I got the falafels with the garlic past and something else which I cant remember what it was called maybe tabuli whatever it was it was really good. My boyfrinds gyro that I had a few bites of was also delish. The staff was really friendly too.

The food was good but the service wasn’t the best. One crew member was on her phone the whole time while others worked. She also forgot my wife’s bread and when we asked she wasn’t to polite to give us some. Overall a great place still.

Food is tasty, but the service is severely lacking. Maybe we just got unlucky, but our food was dished up by an unhappy, quiet and unhelpful girl. She didn’t offer us anything, including the sag or pita bread. If we didn’t know the plate came with it, we wouldn’t have gotten it. Who knows what else she failed to give us. She was frustrating to talk to and failed to give me a white bread sag. Unfortunate for $ 18 that I will spend at a different Mediterranean restaurant next time.

So I really suggest you come to this place and give it a try it will definitely be one of my regular places to come and get a quick sandwich or wrap or a delicious plate. This was our first time and everything was fabulous. So much food and they give you a variety of things to choice from. The chicken kabobs were absolutely the best thing I’ve had in a while, very tender and favor full! The employees and owner were kind and funny. The place was clean. Can’t wait to go back!

I adored the kebabs plate. Hummus was fresh and garlicky, and the baba ganoush was smoky and smooth. The fatoush salad wasn’t really worth it(too much lettuce) so I requested the tabbouli instead. I was quite happy with it! The Saj bread is tasty and chewy. I recommend getting the white over the wheat though, as the wheat can be a little dry. And make sure you get a few little plastic cups of the white garlic sauce. It’s tasty to dip meats in. Desserts are delicious. The rice pudding and crème brûlée were exceptional. Hubby was pleased to see that they have one of those combo all-in-one soda fountains so he mixed a yummy soda. The restaurant was fairly busy but clean and bright.

I’m a big fan of Saj Grill. I’ve been to all location and this one doesn’t disappoint. Awesome, fresh and quality ingredients no matter what you get. Some places disappoint after some time but I can’t say the same about Saj. Don’t forget to ask for a warm Saj bread!

This place is the bomb for fast Mediterranean food. Higher quality than the competitor. The food is far fresher than the competitor. The only sounds in felafel and rice!

This is my first time eating at one of these places. I’m only half way through and already writing a review. My chicken shawarma sandwich with hummus, tabouli, and tomatoes is delicious. I also got the potatoes. I got some sauces on the side and recommend the tahini and spice red one. The food tastes really good and has a lot of flavor. I enjoy the pickles and the authentic middle eastern flavors that I’ve experienced before. Something else that they have going for them is the impressive customer service. The entire staff smile and are extremely friendly. They also have a very clean simple atmosphere that I enjoy for lunch. I’ll be back.

Everything I have had at this place was tasty and fresh. I don’t have any complaints. The service was polite and generous when making my wrap or preparing my take away meals. I like the falafel is tastier and lighter in texture than Garbanzo’s. Love their sides and really love that they have fresh sliced jalapenos to add to anything.

Excellent. The falafel is so good here as well as the fresh made wraps. Hummus was also so good. Beef Shwarma is better than the gyro«meat».(Gyro is kind of like flavored tofu)

It really pains me to give this place 1 star. However, my last trip there was very unsatisfactory. I went on Friday April 10th at 11:30am. I was greeted as soon as I entered by the only man working. I asked him what a chicken shramma(spelling?) was and he opened up the pan of chicken and pointed to it. Lol All I could do was laugh and say«yes honey, I know what chicken is!» I couldn’t even be mad. After I got my food I sat back and watched the workers. The man had on a pair of gloves when he made me wrap and checked me out. I then saw him eat in the back with the same pair of gloves on. Then he started cleaning something, refilled some food on the line, went back to eating. and if that isn’t disgusting enough, guest started coming in and he started making their food. he never changed his gloves. I was so disgusted by what I saw, I had to leave. I have been here a few times before and I very much enjoyed it. I will not be returning after that.

Saj is the best place to get quick and delicious Mediterranean food. Everything seemed super fresh and clean, and I was more than impressed :) My friend and I got the beef and chicken combo plate with 3 sides. First you pick either saj or pita. And you should definitely go with the saj! It’s a little thicker than tortilla but thinner than pita bread, but it’s chewy deliciousness. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Then, you pick your hummus, I recommend the spicy hummus. It’s not too spicy and tastes better than the regular one in my opinion. The beef and chicken are both pretty yummy, but I liked the beef better. Definitely lots of flavor. The sides I tried were: spicy potatoes and these giant dumpling looking things that was fried… They told me the name twice. and I still can’t remember it. But it was soooo good. It’s like the size of your fist? Last but not least, they ask you what sauces you want. I tried the garlic and tzatziki. Loved them both :) Everything on the plate just meshed well together and tasted great :) I can’t wait to come back and try the Panini… and everything else on the menu. The staff was also GREAT. Very friendly and accommodating :)

Listen, I’m the first to admit when I make a mistake, and I’ve made a mistake. The parking lot where Saj Mediterranean Grill is located also has another Mediterranean restaurant called Afia(formerly known as Arboosh). The mistake I made was last time I wanted Mediterranean I went to Afia, and you can read that review to see why that was a huge mistake. Today I decided to try Saj, and it’s a breath of FRESH air. First off you walk into Saj and it’s clean, modern and vibrant. From the décor with their chic copper top tables and Giant LCD menu screens, to their beautiful dessert case that actually has desserts instead of sodas(see Afia review); this place is obviously a much higher caliber. I ordered the beef Shawarma plate with 4 sides, and I ordered Hummus, Jasmine rice, Falafel and spicy fried potatoes. You get to chose between white or wheat pita or white or wheat Saj, which is a flat bread soft like a pita but thinner than a tortilla. I went with the Saj. I also ordered 6 extra Falafel, cause I love Falafel. Crazy thing was they actually carried everything that was on their menu. Everything is just absolutely fresh. He shaved off some fresh Shawarma and if it wouldn’t have been a health code violation I would have walked around the counter and kissed him on the lips. The beef was out of this world. It was super moist, flavorful and just melted in your mouth. I’ve had $ 50 steaks that weren’t that tender. The potatoes were good with a little kick but not in any way«hot.» The rice was flavorful and had a nice hint of nutmeg, which was unexpected but quite enjoyable. The Hummus was good. I like mine with a hint more garlic but it wasn’t bad in any way and in the future I will get a side of garlic paste from their choices of several sauces and mix it in. I did have the Tahini sauce which I had drizzled over the Shawarma and it was quite good. The Falafel was spot on, and I did not regret ordering the 6 extra thought the button on my pants will. For dessert I ordered something I love and haven’t had in quite a few years. They have some amazing pastries including eclairs and fruit tarts and chocolate croissants, and of course Baklava. But I was giddy with excitement when I saw they had Kanafa. And let me tell you folks, I was sooooo not disappointed. Kanafa is a sweet pastry made of a cheese base and shredded filo dough with a garnish of ground pistachio. It’s mildly sweet but light. They serve it warmed with a sweet rosewater on the side. Rosewater can be overpowering, but if done properly it elevates Kanafa to whole other stratosphere. You want to dip your fork in the rosewater and then sprinkle it on top a few times. That is really all you need for an experience you’ll surely come back for. I couldn’t keep my toes from dancing in my shoes as I ate. I will unquestionably return, if not simply for the Kanafa. In fact, I took another one home. If you are in this area and go to to Afia instead of Saj, you deserve the sleepless night of heartburn you’ll probably end up with. Don’t make that mistake. Go to Saj. But save a Kanafa for me.

Inside it is modern. Similar to «Chipotle» style of ordering. Yes you order at the counter. For the Kabob plates, it can take abit, say about 10 to 15 minutes wait. So please be patient with that. They will give you a number token, and they will send your food to where you are seating. * Lamb Kabobs($ 12.99) * Combo Kabobs($ 12.49) * Beef Panini($ 7.49) * Kafta Panini($ 7.99) * 6 Falafel($ 4.99) * 3 Fountain Drink @$ 1.99 each hence became $ 5.97 The Dinner is Doable, if you have 4 people in your party to share etc. For the pricing and portion, it is fair. but if you add each item to your plate, it can add up. so be warned. Overall, its 3.5 star at best, since Hubs wants to return when needed and try from the extensive menu. My parents shared the Lamb Kabobs and Falafel. The Lamb Kabobs order was with the options of SPICY Hummus, Saj Bread, Tabouli since my Mum likes Lamb Kabobs, and my Dad like Falafel. Hubs opt to have the Beef and Kafta Panini, while I opt to have the Combo Kabobs. For the Combo Kabobs I opt to have the Chicken, Beef and Lamb Kabobs, with SPICY Hummus, Rice, Fatoush and Pita Bread. This recent visit was on Friday May 23rd2014. The time we were here its was about 19:00hrs ish, where the Dinner crowd kept coming in. Some patrons, opt to have their orders to go, and many other patrons after us, also opt to dine in. All in all decent establishment for us to return since this establishment is the CLOSEST to where we live as compared to the one at Southglenn and Park Meadows location. The opening hours of this location is as following : Mondays — Saturdays: 11am — 10pm Sundays: 11am — 8pm Saj Mediterranean Grill — Parker & Iliff(Intersection/Location) 2300 S. Parker Road, Aurora, CO80231 Tel:(303) 755‑7655 @110/2014

I have had garbanzos… meh…I’ve had a number of similar places and everyone fails to compare to SAJ! This place is consistently nice, fun staff, clean, accommodating, and F’ing DELICIOUS! The house is ABSOLUTELY packed and for good reason!!! I usually order the Beef Shawarma sandwich and today was no different!!! It was perfectly prepared!!! The pickles are marinated in a magic juice that will leave you craving them for days!!! The jalapeño paste is something like a unicorn and if I keep going you’re going to think this place is the Mecca of Mediterranean food… That’s because ITIS!!! Welcome to heaven Unilocalers! You may enter and enjoy an eternity of happiness and satisfaction!!!
