The place makes you feel like you’ve just entered the tiniest coffee shop ever. Then you take a look around and find that the place appears to be some converted retail area. The chairs are just mesh office chairs, which are comfortable, but do not really match the coffee shop vibe. Now the bad part(yup, haven’t even gotten to the bad part yet), I waited for a solid, what felt like 5 minutes, waiting for someone to acknowledge me as I awkwardly stood at the counter. Yes, not get my order, but to just be acknowledged. I ended up grabbing a cup of coffee, which was, you know, coffee. Set my stuff up to study for a bit and during that time I noticed the staff sitting next to my table playing games on their iPhones! Customers had to come up to them to ask if they could order something! Like I said the coffee was okay hence the 2 stars, but the service, oh the service was just HORRENDOUS! Definitely don’t recommend this place for anything.

There’s absolutely nothing about the atmosphere here that speaks to comfort, just a bunch of office roller chairs(not where I want to sit considering I work in an office myself) or some outdated sofas in the center. I opted for the drip coffee and prepaid the refill dollar. It was good, hot and about the only redeeming factor about the coffee house. I didn’t try any special drinks so I can’t say if they do those justice. The chicken salad-salad I had was really dry, I’m not sure what they were going for with it. I asked for it to go on a basic salad and that was taken beyond literally and served on plain chopped iceberg, with a tablespoonful of diced tomatoes thrown on at the owner’s gracious offer. The place is decorated with art for sale, but I’m not sure if their supply is from a local elementary school or hospital. Overall, it’s a sad little place in a sad little strip mall that seems stuck within the purgatory that is 1997.

Visited today for the first time and found it to be warm and inviting. I visited mid morning so I was able to chat with John about his culinary school education. It was obvious that he has a passion for service and satisfaction of his customers. I will visit again very soon.

this place is nice. Read reviews about this place and I decided to give it a shot. So love their décor, really nice. Food and beverage are also awesome

That Place is a great place to: grab a sandwich, grab a coffee, grab a smoothie and even meet with a study group, client or friend. The atmosphere is cozy, they have the best chairs. Their chairs are office chairs, which roll and adjust up or down according to your height. The table that I sat at had the logo painted on it, which was cute. The staff is nice and hospitable. I had a tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread. It was great. Just what I needed. It was light enough for the weather and just enough for lunch. I will return to try the other beverage options. I had just picked up a cold pressed juice prior to coming, so I opted not to have something to drink. There’s plenty of parking and several other local businesses located in the plaza. This is close by my house, so I see myself dropping in quite a bit.

Went looking for a local coffee shop while in Augusta today. I found this cute new place! Friendly staff, good prices, and good coffee. Support local shops Augusta!
