Very cool café and coffee shop! Friendliness of the owners make the place one reason to visit, but the real treasure is the coffee! Always have quality coffee unlike others! The food surpassed my expectations! The breakfast was amazing, but I definitely have to come back for the lunch! Always a pleasure when visiting this locally owned shop!

What a great little spot! Inner Bean was so delicious the first time I ventured there that I had to return the very next day and bring my husband for breakfast! As soon as one enters Inner Bean, you feel very cozy and invited. There is also seating in the back that is more like a lounge area which seems to be very conducive to small events and study sessions. If your a student or professional, Inner Bean is a great meeting spot. They have breakfast and lunch options along with stellar coffee, tea, and espresso drinks. Their soup options are AMAZING and they even have discounted rates if you desire a refill. My favorite breakfast item is their burrito. Some people may be annoyed because it takes a little while to get your scrumptious meal; but don’t despair. This is NOT McDonald’s or Starbucks and the burrito is not frozen. These incredible fluffy eggs and fresh veggies are made to order. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by Inner Bean!

I finally decided to check out this hidden gem after finding them on Unilocal!Look carefully or you will pass the plaza. The inside is clean and it was quiet. It took about 10 minutes to get my food. I prefer to have fresh food, so the wait did not bother me. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla(without meat), and added tomatoes, red peppers and black beans. The staff was very accommodating to my changes. My quesadilla was tasty. They have a variety of desserts, but I didn’t purchase any… maybe next time!

First, a story. We went in on a Saturday morning. Got there about 10:45am and saw the chalkboard sign for the breakfast menu: «Served Until 10:30am». Darn. We particularly left the house this morning to come here for breakfast, and glancing at the lunch menu just didn’t hit the spot. Sometimes you’re just craving breakfast, ya know? Anyways, when we got up to the cashier, we asked if the 10:30 also was for weekends, she said yes it was, and we were sad. Apparently we were noticeably let down, as the other staff member asked if we wanted breakfast. Both of us said YES! She was nice enough to check with the kitchen to see if they still had the breakfast stuff out. They said they can make breakfast, but it would just take a little longer. That was no problem with us. The hubby enjoyed his coffee, and I my smoothie, in the meantime. I really enjoyed the smoothie! I got a berry-mango blend. We both actually ended up getting the breakfast quesadilla with turkey sausage. Food was good, and very filling! And I really enjoyed the smoothie. I would come back here for those times I’m just craving s smoothie. Hubby enjoyed the dark roast coffee served in a large white mug. We both agree that we would come back, especially since it’s so close to where we live! The staff is very friendly! I really appreciate them accommodating us for breakfast. The person who took our order didn’t have the best demeanor, but otherwise I really enjoyed this place. Cute interior, good coffee, and the bagel I got was delicious.

I’m not one for coffee but this place offers a lot more. My wife and I have been going here regularly for 2 years. BEST sandwiches in town, and staff is great! Oh and my wife loves their coffee.

This place was pretty good, really limited breakfast menu though, dont let the pictures fool you. I had a good meal but my husband thought the coffee was bad and the eggs, sausage and toast he ordered was really under seasoned. There was quite a wait for our meal, there were only five or six other tables dinning when we were, and the barista told the customers next to us that there was a wait because they were«swamped» so I guess this isn’t the place for large parties or people in a hurry.

Amazing little place. Artisan beads, quality meats, hot soups and any coffee or tea you could want. Clean, cozy, stylish. I’m going to be here a lot! Even after I made the mistake that pea soup has pork in it, they were happy to replace it with vegetarian soup.

I was hesitant about going here at first because there wasn’t that many Unilocal reviews and not much information about this spot. Also, because I am not from around here. But I am glad I decided to spend my money here. It’s an awesome location to eat and have caffeine! I had the twisted grilled cheese with a side of broccoli salad. The grilled cheese had bacon and apricot jelly inside of it… And of course cheese. I love risks, and that risk was definitely a great combination! The broccoli salad was good as well. For some people, like my sister, who doesn’t like raisins, I would say do not get the broccoli salad, but as for me, I enjoy dried fruit, so it had good flavor to me. It was absolutely delicious and filling. As for my drink, the lady at the counter recommended a mocha coconut. And I decided to get it hot with soy. I do not like overly sweet drinks and this was the perfect medium for me. The inside of the store was clean and felt very warm and welcoming. The front part had a seating area with tables and chairs. There was also outside seating. The back had couches to lounge around and make you feel more at home. So I really liked the layout of the store. The workers were nice and sweet. And they didn’t seem the fake kind of sweet. They genuinely wanted you to enjoy your time there. Can I say how much this place made me smile? A California girl who found a great spot to eat and hang out here in Augusta. Maybe I enjoyed it because it reminded me of home. But, it really felt like the spots in CA that I go to. And it was a good experience. I was surprised.

Thank goodness for additional parking behind the building. I’ve passed this place so many times and thought about going. Finally tried it out today and I’m glad I did. There is plenty of seating on the inside and a huge menu. After only getting a few hours of sleep, I wanted something that didn’t have caffeine so I could go right back to sleep. The cashier was super helpful and made an iced tea drink that was just enough flavor and was exactly what I needed. I will be back to try the coffee because there were so many options! For food, I tried the twisted grilled cheese and that was something else. Let me just point out that I don’t even like apricots or apricot jam for that matter, but this sandwich seriously worked. The sandwich had provolone, white cheddar & American cheese with bacon and apricot jam. I love when people are willing to take risks with sandwiches and do funky combinations. I got a side of broccoli salad, which was also delicious. The combination of what they put in it was perfect. Can’t wait to try more on the menu and would recommend trying this to anyone in the area!

Cannot go wrong with anything here and the staff is fabulous. Come here for breakfast and you will not be disappointed. When I was still in the Augusta area I was here almost every weekend for breakfast. The breakfast bowls are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I also recommend trying the special French toast or pancakes that they sometimes have with different fruits. Great environment and a must try place when in the Augusta area.

Reading up on business intelligence theory and venturing through Wal-Mart inspired an unexpected case of the munchies. So, with trusty smartphone in hand, I pulled up Unilocal to save me from having to resort to skulking into a chain restaurant for sustenance. Fortunately, Unilocal pointed me to this little gem tucked away in a relatively new building just a few yards away from where I was. In a very tastefully appointed bistro setting, the Inner Bean serves up a host of coffee beverages, breakfast distress, and lunch specials. I elected to get the Twisted Grilled Cheese with a side of their freshly made broccoli salad. I could not have gotten a better first impression of this new discovery. :-) Lovingly covered in apricot preserves and nestled between two slices of buttery grilled sourdough bread, the sliced turkey and bacon were made into a salty sweet flavor explosion in my mouth. It was impossible to put down once I started biting into this handheld portion of happiness. After finishing one half of the sandwich, I turned my attention to the broccoli salad. I was met with a very nice ranch and bacon andbroccoli slaw with whole, crisp florets, diced onion and shredded cheddar. It was a *great* departure from the sweet broccoli salads I’ve had to date. I was very impressed overall, and I really liked the relaxed, artsy vibe of the location. I will definitely come here again!

Inner Bean is that cozy little local café that you want to give your money to just to show Starbucks who the boss REALLY is. The warm feel when you walk into the building is just amplified when you discover the comfortable lounge area in the back, perfect for small business meetings. I discovered Inner Bean through a friend, which is usually a good sign the place is worth talking about. In my opinion the coffee can be pricey but the food is worth the cost. I must add however, that the creativity in flavor and style for their coffee can be amazing at times. You’ll miss that aspect if you order a frapp instead of hot coffee. I ordered Banana Foster 12oz frapp($ 3.75) and S’more 16oz frapp($ 4.99) which were both really good. They were both packed with flavor and I wish I would have ordered a larger size. For food I tried the strawberry French toast($ 4.79) which could have used a few extra slices of bread and the breakfast burrito($X.XX) that was full of flavor and came with sour cream and salsa sides. When you sit down to enjoy your food at Inner Bean you feel like you’re hanging out at a cousins house for a snack, and it’s a cousin you actually enjoy being around. Stop by Inner bean for some great food options, creative drinks and a relaxing location. If you’re feeling feisty you can even get a coffee punch card for some rewards.

Inner Bean Café is a lovely coffee shop and breakfast/lunch spot! I was very impressed with their menu, location and style of the café! I ordered the breakfast bowl, and it was so deliciously healthy;) it wasn’t large but it was just enough for a good breakfast. I highly recommend this place for coffee and breakfast lovers.

I don’t like coffee but I love this little coffee shop! I’ve visited twice now for lunch and loved both of my sandwiches. On my first visit I tried the Turkey Avocado as a wrap instead of as a panini.(The women taking my order actually recommended the sandwich to me because that is one of her favorites!) The sauce that comes on the sandwich is extremely scrumptious! On my second visit I really enjoyed eating the Twisted Grilled Cheese. The jam on the sandwich is sooo good! Every grilled cheese I make at home going forward will have jam on the bread. They seem to have some awesome desserts as well. I’ve only tried the bread pudding and that was delicious so I would guess every other dessert wouldn’t disappoint your taste buds. This is the perfect spot to come sit outside on a sunny day or head to the back of the café on rainy days to curl up on the big chairs or couches and enjoy a coffee, tea, sandwich and desserts.

A very cozy little spot you may pass by if you dont look too closely. More of a café but has the feel of a restaurant as well if youre just looking for a bite to eat. They have a lot of parking spaces in the back so if the front is packed, make your way around back. They serve breakfast and lunch. They also had a wise variety of drinks including. Coffee, tea, ice mocha, smoothies, etc. In the rear part of the café there are sofas for more comfortable seating. I saw a lot of what looked like students studying or people just lounging around reading. COST: 5⁄5 AMBIENCE/DECOR: 5⁄5 Cozy, lounge, café type of environment. Light music playing with plenty of light coming through the windows. FOOD: 4⁄5 Small but adequate portions in serving size. Nothing really that screams amazing here. I ordered a breakfast bowl. I didnt like the bland salsa they served which tasted like something you get at your local super market. SERVICE: 5⁄5 Nice and friendly staff. Food came out fairly quick. No big issues here.

The Inner Bean is a wonderful little coffee shop with an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. The white mocha and chai lattes are big hits with the wife and I, and my kids go nuts over their hot chocolate(they serve it cooled down for the kids). A little too sweet for me to have on a daily basis, but they’re nice treats on the weekend. I haven’t had enough experience with the food to speak on it, and I wouldn’t consider it when rating a coffee shop, anyway. I’m coming here for the ambience, service, and a variety of delicious ways to get my caffeine kick. That being said… while I LOVE my coffee and chai, I’m certainly not a coffee aficionado — bean quality/origin and barista qualifications ultimately mean very little to my palate. I’m probably missing out on something that particular crowd would better appreciate, but I can say this is definitely the kind of place I wish was closer to my house. I would love to be able to stroll down here and sip coffee for an hour or two while reading a good back off in the back room.

WOW! Had the best lunch here today. This is a hometown Panera/ABCompany. Coffees, desserts, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups. No selection of loaves– but in most other ways, that’s who I’d compare them with. I’d give them 5 stars, but the service is a bit off. Not bad, just off. Food: Twisted grilled cheese– SOGOOD. Cheese, bacon, and just a smidge of apricot jam. Perfect blend of sweet and salty. Club Sandwich– that was a big sammie! Loaded down with all things«club». Turkey Croissant– first, they toast this sandwich, the whole thing! So the cheese is melted and croissant is nice and crunchy. Very good, and a bit different from chicken salad or ham that you normally see on a croissant. Split pea soup(Thursday soup of the day.) delish, and perfect for the cold weather. Shared a slice of the lemon cheesecake and it was great! Returned 2 days later! Had a twisted grilled cheese, cheddar and broccoli soup, and the daily special, which was ham, cheese, apples and a raspberry mayo. Sandwiches disappeared quickly! I also grabbed 2 slices of cake to go. The ding dong cake and the champagne cake! OMG. Both were yummy!!! I can see myself popping in here just for dessert. They have seating and parking in the front and back of the building, with a more lounging type space with couches in the back. They do ask that you clear your own table. Price. A bit pricey for a sandwich, but it’s a nice size portion of quality Boars Head deli meat, you get a large half pickle and chips. I can see why some people complain, but I’m willing to pay extra for what I felt like was quality, and to keep it local.
