Great service and delicious food. Very nice local place to go and eat. We would probably go back, but there have been better drink specials at other places.

I received a gift card to this restaurant as a door prize at an event I attended. I had never even heard of the place prior to that evening. I live approx 40 minutes away and tonight I decided to finally use my gift card. I’m are with my 2 teenage boys. When we walked in, I was a little skeptical of the ‘family friendliness’ as all the patrons were men and they were all sitting near/around the bar. When we walked in, i felt every eye in the room on us. A server directed us to sit anywhere. Our server, Heather, was very nice, friendly and attentive. Our food came out relatively quick. The menu mainly consists of bar food(hot dogs, hamburgers, wraps) with some blue plate sides thrown in for good measure. The burgers and chicken fingers tasted like typical bar food(not great/not horrible). Would I drive 40 minutes to eat there again? Probably not. If I were in the area, would I eat there again? Maybe.

I went to Laseter’s Tavern on Saturday, March 26. Overall, I thought the bar had a nice atmosphere at the time but my issue did not arise until the next day. I used a brand new credit card that was never used before at other merchants on this particular day. The next day I noticed fraudulent charges on my credit card. Someone at this restaurant stole my credit card number and charged a total of $ 575(three separate charges). I am currently going through fraud procedures with my bank to get this cleared. Please don’t go to this place because your card number may be stolen if you are not a regular patron or please just use cash!

This place is a great hideaway. Decided to make it my new«spot». Great food and laid back atmosphere. The prices are very and affordable and the waitstaff are commendable. I’ll definitely be back! Try the buffalo chicken app!

Laseters has great hamburgers! I’m always on the hunt for a really tasty hamburger. I live in the neighborhood but we travel elsewhere to get a hamburger because of the smoke. Now that they are smoke-free, I frequent the place to get their hamburger. Their potato skins are yummy, too. Good food, good price. I’m not a sports fan, but it looks fun for those who are. Thanks Laseters for making this a smoke-free place!

I really like this place, especially the food. First off, it’s really hard to find good mac and cheese. This place his definitely hit the mark on basic, cheesy, flavorful mac and cheese. It doesn’t have all the extra seasoning or anything like that but it’s really tasty. The first night we went, it was pretty busy and the food was taking a LONG time to come out. I think there was some type of issue with the kitchen. We had the buffalo chicken bites and the pretzel bites as appetizers. The chicken bites were REALLY tasty and you get a good amount. It could’ve been an entrée with the large portion you receive. The pretzel bites were pretty good. They were soft and come with cheese and mustard. Tip: I took a chicken bite, a pretzel and cheese sauce and put it together and it was delicious! As entrée’s I had the hot dogs and he had the buffalo chicken wrap. Both were really good. I was full by the time everything was done. I couldn’t even finish it. I had to talk half of it to go. A few days later I ordered some dessert to go and of course, more mac and cheese. The tollhouse cookie pie was pretty good but not as flavorful as I hoped. Next time I would try the cookies and milk. This will probably be one of my new spots when I’m in the area. The prices are pretty good too.

Going 4 stars since it’s now smoke free. Thank you so much, Laseters, for no longer allowing smoking inside!!! It’s a cool bar with great bar food. Great sandwiches and a friendly staff. We’ll be coming back regularly now that we won’t be going home smelling like an ashtray.

Used to be my favorite bar in the world. Then someone decided to make it non smoking and non vaping. Haven’t been back since. I will probably be back soon, but it’s no longer my «go to» place that I loved. Staff is awesome and food is great though.

The service was great. My new favorite part is the no smoking rule. I can bring my family here and have good food without smoking all in my face. I will definitely be back soon.

The wait staff was great. The bar is atrocious. Will never come back. I just moved to smyrna/vinings and have been looking for a nice bar to play pool at and become a regular at again since leaving the north side. This will definitely not be on the list! Two pool tables which is in high commodity with rude customers(a lot of very rude brats) all waiting for the table. I couldn’t wait to leave once I got in. Dirty and very scary bathrooms, food gets a 0 and the beer wasn’t kept in a place to keep it proper temperature. Needless to say if you’re looking to smell like you’ve just smoked a pack, wait all night on a pool table and deal with bitchy kids you should put this on your list of musts.

Can’t smoke during West Virginia games? Wtf. Lost my busness… other than that decent food and great staff.

Will not go here because of the smoke. They should have a smoking and nonsmoking section.

Great locals bar. Servers are friendly and attentive. Plenty of TVs. Food is above average for a «dive bar», always cooked well. Glad to call this place home.

The epitome of a dive bar. Nothing special and the waitress had the personality of a chalk board. The food was frozen-stuck-in-a –deep-fryer bar schlock, the queso was, well, had the same personality as the waitress… No thanks.

We tried Laseters on a Friday night to watch some tournament basketball and it was surprisingly not crowded. Maybe that’s because the bar appears to be more of a local hangout and Friday night is poker night. There were several groups playing games at the game tables. We got some seasonal beers recommended by our waitress that were very good. I tried the nachos and my husband got lemon pepper wings. Everything was tasty, although, the lemon pepper was very salty — makes you want more beer! The jukebox was playing a good mix of music and the service was very attentive. If you don’t mind the smoke smell, it’s a decent local dive.

Great beer selection & an asthma attack waiting to happen. It has been better lately from a smokey standpoint, but you’ll still leave smelling like a Marlboro. Food is standard bar food.

Ended up here for a couple of Sunday beers with the baby before starting the work week yet again. This place doesn’t exactly :-) greatest, as I think people are allowed to smoke inside, but other than that it’s just your typical dive. We ordered two Fireball shots, some pumpkin beer(major kudos to them for having the very best: PUMPKING) and some chicken tenders. I really appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the fact our bartender actually chilled the shots. For some strange reason, I’ve been to a few bars lately where shots are served room temperature. Pumpkin beer was awesome, as usual, and the chicken tenders were delicious along with the fries(enough to seriously feed two and take some home for the dog). Seeing we live in the area I’m sure we will visit again and mingle with the regulars from time to time. Cheers, amigos.

A smoky little bar in Vinings, where the food is good and the people who really like it hang out there. It’s not a place I’ll go out of my way to hang out at, but I’ll return if I’m meeting people to watch a game or something. Like I said, the food is actually pretty good for bar food. I split an order of chicken nachos and BBQ wings with boyfriend. The nachos are a generous portion, with tons of yummy queso. They come with fresh jalapenos(pickled not available), so it’s super spicy. The wings are bigger than most, and were cooked perfectly. It’s easier to justify the $ 1/wing price tag that accompanies them. Lastly, the drinks are reasonably priced.

In my humble opinion of what should define a great«dive» — Laseter’s hits every mark and improves on several! Easy to find off Cobb Pkwy in Vinings/Smyrna at the intersection of Paces Mill — this bar offers that feel good, «hometown spot» atmosphere that you honestly won’t find much of in this town, with a noticeable bit of Vinings style thrown in the mix. Great beer options, tasty pub menu, plenty of TVs, jukebox, two Diamond 7ft pool tables which is an extremely nice addition to a bar of this nature(Pricey though at $ 1.50/game — win. so you don’t have to keep paying! ;), weekly Trivia that the regulars seem to love. cozy layout, very friendly/accommodating service… You really can’t go wrong here if looking for a straight up, great classic bar. I only leave off a star because there’s nothing particularly original about Laseter’s… But who said that’s a problem! Yes — it is a little smoky… But if you’re unprepared/put off by that, you really probably are less familiar with these types of establishments, cause they get easily twice as bad as this place. Good ventilation makes it hardly distracting after the initial smell walking in. I live right down the road, and regret that I haven’t frequented this tavern more. Plan to be a regular ASAP!
