As far as quick bites go, it’s a pretty decent option in the Atlanta airport. Earlier this week, I had a layover at Hartsfield-Jackson and since I had a few minutes to spare between flights, I grabbed a bacon egg & cheese breakfast sandwich at the Food Network Kitchen. Staff were courteous, service was quick, and the sandwich tasted decent. Coffee wasn’t bad either. A bit of price gouging, as expected for airport food($ 12.50 for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee). Still, wouldn’t hesitate stopping here again next time I’m on the go!

Stopped in here for a snack and your clearly paying for the name. Food was easy to grab and line was short

Best in-transit food till date, felt slightly overpriced initially but turned out to be worth every penny. Tasty n nutritional! Plus the southern iced tea #yummy #healthyfood #sweettea #breakfast

Picked up the turkey pin wheels with hummus. Literally the worst hummus I’ve ever eaten. It tastes more like bad peanut butter than hummus. I expect more from anything with the food network branding.

Good breakfast spot at the airport. I had the breakfast sandwich without meat and a coffee. Both of which were pretty good! The only downside was the price, but it’s reflective of typical airport prices.

First off, this review has nothing to do with the food. After walking by the restaurant and seeing staff interactions with other customers, I opted to not eat there. So, I can’t give any feedback in that regard. I got food from another restaurant in concourse«D» and sat down in, what appeared to be, a common seating area in front of the the Food Network restaurant.(There was no signage to indicate otherwise.) I first sat down at the bar facing the restaurant with my food and was forced to clean my area with a wet nap because of food residue on the bar. The whole time I was cleaning my area, I noticed a staff member from the Food Network restaurant watching me. I was only AFTER I cleaned my chosen area and opened up my food to eat that the same person came over and told me that this area was reserved for her restaurant. As I was leaving, she scolded 3 other people as well. She was rude and discourteous for no reason. So, here’s the thing. I’m sure I’ll fly through the Atlanta airport again. Based on her attitude, I’ll never eat at that restaurant. I’m not sure how much business this restaurant would’ve have gotten from me in the future, but I’m positive they will never see a dime from me now.

This is for the food network kitchen in terminal D. Extremely lazy people working here. Can I have a latte? Our machine isn’t working. Ok I’ll take a regular coffee. Ordered oatmeal — cashier didn’t have time to make it so had to wait for the girl stocking the food shelves to do so. I asked her twice if there was brown sugar and raisins as the menu stated she confirmed twice. Got on my flight to a plain oatmeal which i wound up just throwing away. Very disappointed — don’t understand the laziness and lack of management here.

Disgusting best sums up the Roast Beef Sandwich. It comes in a brown bag so you can’t see the actual sandwich. The reason for this is clear when you open the bag to eat it. Very little meat, limp lettuce that gets more limp when they run it through the broiler. I took two small bites(that included all the meat) and threw the rest away. All of this deliciousness for $ 11.00.

Decent airport food but with the Food Network banner I was expecting something better and fresher. Local bread makers source the sandwiches but dry and sale is still the same even if is local. The chicken soup was quite nice. The other sundry items still seemed packaged and completely prepackaged.

What a terrible stop. Don’t waste your money. I ordered an Americano that was so disgusting, I threw it out after the first sip. Then I specifically asked if the oatmeal muffin had raisins, and the cashier said no. So I ordered it, and it turns out there are raisins in it. Very disappointed. Staff was also slow and unfriendly, which was very surprising since everywhere else I visited in Atlanta, the people were nice.

Went here to grab a quick lunch while on a layover. I was so surprised that they were using local ingredients and that’s the only reason it isn’t given a 2 star review. I had the peach and ham sandwich with brie. It was quite good for fast-ish airport food and having yummy sides was a plus since I am done with Mickey D’s and the like. It was a tad pricey, but it’s sort of expected being in an airport. When you have a captive audience, you charge what you wanna…

I can’t speak for the quality of their food, only for the quality of the service I received. Within two minutes of sitting down while I waited for a friend coming from her gate, I was already approached twice(a staff member and a manager) telling me that I can’t sit at their dining area unless I ordered food. When I was first approached, I mentioned that I was waiting for my friend and as soon as she arrived, we were going to purchase a meal. Despite that, the manager came up to me literally not even a minute after, asking me to leave. Mind you, at this point my friend had arrived and we were just standing up to go order. The managers attitude was completely unjustified, and the table next to us even gave her strange looks. It goes without saying, we did not order from this establishment, even though we originally had every intention to do so when we first arrived in Atlanta. So much for Southern Hospitality.

Airport food quality. No more and no less. I had the oatmeal with berries. It was okay — more expensive than Starbucks but a bigger portion. Tasted fine. Likely won’t return since there are so many other places to try.

Is this place amazing? Nope. But it a a great place to grab a quick salad if you have a quick layover. The salads are fresh and crisp. I also like that it is arranged so you can easily remove anything you don’t want on the salad without making a mess. Quick service and friendly smiles make it my go to in Terminal D

###Warning!!! Do not eat here! Food network should be ashamed of the quality of food this place puts out. The Roastbeef was dry, over cooked and looked like something I would t give to an animal. Epic fail on the culinary tv channels part!!!

This place was pretty decent for a restaurant located at an airport. Certain sandwiches can be toasted if you request it. Some of the food items here were unique, like the big peach I got. The sweet peaches integrated well with the ham. The checkout line was fairly quick moving, but the wait for the sandwich to be warmed up was a tad longer. It was no more than 5 mins though. I do like this place since the ingredients were fresh and the service friendly. If you’re going to pay for overpriced food at the airport, you might as well do it here for a quickie but delish sandwich($ 10 was the cost of my sandwich).

Solid 3-stars. The storefront is really attractive and the set-up is colorful and organized. Plus the cashiers sure know how to upsell, offering add-ons and extras you may not have initially thought of… or wanted. Like others have said, it is a little pricey — but it is consistent with airport food. So, non-factor. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with the upsell of turkey sausage. The sandwich was tasty and heated … but like super heated. I had to wait a while to eat it. Y’know how when bread is warmed too much, there is this small window of time to eat it, before it comes hard. This was what happened. Also, like another mentioned, there was too much bread, so I removed the top bun. It was tasty, solid 3-stars… I think my expectations were just set too high since I’m a fan of the food network!

In the center of the D concourse, Food Network looks like a concession stand until you notice that there is a small three-stool bar off to one side. And when I spotted the taps, my «to go» became a «eat in» order. Wide selection of drinks and snacks, some things that you won’t find in other airport concessions. I grabbed an interesting bottle of local pickled beets as a «I was in Atlanta» gift. There were also pickled cucumbers and corn relish and some other interesting treats. I chose the«Big Peach» sandwich, which is a ham and brie on toasted brioche but they also include a few bits of peaches on there. Very tasty and I appreciated watching it go through the toasting machine where it heated up the brad but in the first bite, the ham was still cold. Very odd and probably not by design. Eight different beer taps including some ultra-local micro brews and a strangely placed Bud Light. I had the Terrapin Rye, but the HopLanta might be more your style. Three stars because the prices were high and that cold slice of ham in the middle really didn’t help.

I had an early flight on a Monday morning out of Hartsfield. I wasn’t in a chick-fil-a mood so I decided to give this place a shot. Just going through and looking at their pre-made stuff like sandwiches and wraps, I saw the prices were stupid high. $ 10 for a very small wrap? No way. Their fresh made menu options are fairly reasonable. They use ingredients from local bakeries here in Atlanta; the Breakfast Sandwich uses H&F bread and their Breakfast Biscuit uses Highland Bakery cheddar biscuit. I opted for the Breakfast Biscuit which comes with a over hard egg(like McDonald’s McMuffin). You can add ham and cheese for additional. I opted to get just the ham. I think total I paid about $ 8 – 9 for the biscuit. Took my seat on the plane 15 mins later and took it out. Still warm. I didn’t bother taking a picture, b/c I wasn’t expecting much(did’t even take a pic). I was so wrong. This thing was pretty good. The biscuit tasted fresh and it was warm and soft. They give you a decent amount of ham. The egg didn’t taste cheap or fake. Service was ok. It took about 3 minutes after placing my order for them to prepare my food. I’d come here again if I wanted some breakfast food in the airport.

I was in a rush to get to my 8:40 a.m. flight. From start to finish, the order took 10 minutes. Keep in mind that you can order a fresh meal or grab a quick to-go item. There’s a little confusion between the line to order your food and the line of people waiting for their meal after they’ve already purchased their food. Don’t get stuck in the wrong line like a couple I directed to the ordering line. The employees greet you kindly. My favorite part of the transaction was when the woman at the counter said, «Have a great day and a safe life.» LOL I ordered a breakfast sandwich and was pleased with the flavor. I’m cutting down on my carb intake so I had to take off the bottom part of the bread. The bread on the sandwich is kind of heavy. All in all, a good experience.
