As Hampton Inns go, this one is above average. It seems to be a newer property. Everything is in top notch shape and, despite the local talent pool outside of Asheville, staff is very nice and capable. This is definitely a tourist-servicing location but even that tourist /family traffic was quiet and respectful. The property is quite easy to find and convenient to gas stations, some food, and an indoor outlet mall. The commute up I26 to downtown is easy enough. WiFi is very, very slow. If you can connect via cell, you’d be better off. I’d definitely come back here – surprisingly polished for the mid price.

I have been staying at this Hampton on business for a few weeks on and off. They do a nice job here, clean and responsive. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’ll be back.

Typical Hampton Inn, friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms. This is a tourist hotel, lots of kids, and traffic. Internet at this location is horid, tethering is faster. Television quality sucks. If your coming to Asheville for business i would go elsewhere.

Friendly staff. Very clean and located a nice distance from everything. We rented a room through the website and it was fast, simple, and user friendly.

Hotel is clean. Has a great breakfast. Internet sucks beyond belief. Even the 5 $ per day is terrible. Tethering to my iphone was 3−4x as fast. Couldn’t work from the hotel on projects at my office. Let’s move into this century…

Great staff. Great, clean, spacious rooms. It’s everything a Hampton Inn is supposed to be. It’s also close to the Hwy but not at all loud because of it. I’ve stayed here several times for business and I’ll surely stay again.

Another Hampton Inn, as I have said before, they all seem pretty consistent and this one is no different. Desk staff helpful and friendly, and greeted me every time I came through. Rooms comfortable and clean.

Being a Hampton Inn, I’m not gonna dwell too much on the review here. The beauty of Hampton Inn is that when you’ve been to one, you’ve been to all of them: they all have the same furniture, room layout and more or less the same quality. Is that an advantage that they’re all the same? Sure is: you know what to expect, and if it didn’t work for you the first time, forget about it. Simple as that. Once you’ve struggled with the quality of the so franchised Holiday Inn Express line of hotels, you’ll be happy to know you can rely on the same quality at Hampton Inns. Now for this specific location: it’s right off the Highway(exit 37): easy to spot and easy to access. It’s one exit from Biltmore area — 10 min. tops to get there, convenient as well. It has a swimming pool area: never tried it. Fitness center: never cared for those. I go there on business trips only, so I’m more concerned about the desk area, reliability of the internet access, and breakfasts to go: all of which — check! The various rooms I’ve had in this hotel have always been clean and I’ve never missed an item(towels, floor mat, shampoo, coffee …). As for the parking area: plenty of it. Welcome at the front desk: never had to complain in the last few months I’ve been there. They always welcome Hilton Honors with as much courtesy as the non members. Perfectly fine with me. Around the area, you’ll find a few of their competitors; a Ingles grocery store and a decent steakhouse with reasonable prices. Beyond that, I’d say the area is very calm and I’ve never had to complain about noise level around or inside the hotel. That’s it for you folks: decent, clean, functional, prices what you would expect for the area. Works for me. PS: one day though, I’ll have to find one those hotel room interior design and inquire about this habit they have putting a mirror above the desk area … Up to this day, I still fail to understand why I have to watch myself when I work at the desk … Oh well!

Had a quick trip to this area, and found this Hotel exactly what we needed. Reasonably priced, comfortable bed, clean rooms. We requested a quiet room, and did find our location to be very peaceful. the staff was friendly, helped us with dinner suggestions and directions into the downtown area. When you are in an unfamiliar town it is sooo helpful to have directions to make your trip easier. The cookies at check-in were delicious, had to stop at 1 to fit into my outfit. We will return on our next trip. Easy off and on the Fwy, close to airport, close to Biltmore Estates, great location in general. Thanks for your hospitality.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns but this one could do better on a lot of things. Number one and foremost — BREAKFAST! One of the reasons many of us stay at Hampton Inns is because of the breakfast. This one had nothing but waffles, cereal and fruit. Seriously? No eggs, meat or biscuits? I’m not trying to be high maintenance it just seems cheap when you’re paying a good rate. Other than that — the hotel itself wasn’t bad. It was clean and the staff was helpful with directions to and from tourist attractions.

Very clean room, very nice staff, and loved having coffee and tea hot and ready in the lobby 24 – 7! I stayed here because it was convenient to the Biltmore Estate.

Very nice, but small, pool. Kid friendly. Staff was very helpful, even let us into the kitchen area late at night to get some plates and napkins for the pizza we had had delivered. Slightly above the typical Hampton Inn. Nice flat screen tv in the room, but no PPV options.

Hampton Inns are not always consistent — this location near Biltmore Square was spot on one of the nicest I’ve used while traveling. The staff at the reception desk were eager to help us at check in, when we had direction questions as well as when we were just hanging in the lobby for breakfast or the yummy warm cookies in the evening! The room was well appointed and very clean! The temperature was easily changed and the shampoo and conditioners were nice. The pool area had a spa and a gym and was well maintained. There were cushioned chairs and ottomans, lounge chairs and even a couple of high top tables with bar style chairs. The only issue was that the closing time was 10 pm for the pool, which after a 6 ½ hr drive with kids only allowed them 15 min of play time to unwind — which was disappointing for the adults and the kids! The reason we figured out was that there are rooms that have windows to this area… thus the early curfew! The location itself was reasonably close to downtown as well as the area’s most impressive attraction The Biltmore. I would happily reserve a room again if we visit this area again in the future.
