This may be one of the best places in Arlington to get burgers. Both my husband and I loved the burgers we got. We also got mozzarella sticks that were great and an awesome piece of pie for the road. The customer service here was lovely, too. Very friendly people. Will come back.

The sign outside says«Best Burger in the World(by Owner)». I’d agree that it’s definitely the best burger in Arlington. The burgers are thick and juicy; not too dry or greasy. The staff is really friendly; especially Vicky, who remembers people’s names and regular orders. My wife loves the«Jan» burger with spicy cream cheese, jalapeños and roasted red peppers toppings. I’m an «Old Fashion» burger kind of guy. You also have the choice of regular or «crinkle» fries. The pies are also a treat. Just a great neighborhood, family owned place.

First time here. Good service, just a little slow to get the food. The place wasn’t cry busy. Burgers were thick, but bland. My husband’s burger came out pretty pink, so we had to send it back to be cooked more. Fries tasted like the oil could be fresher. Bonus points for the Sriracha ketchup

Well it says«best burger in the world» on the window, but I beg to disagree. It was mediocre at best. We ate there on a Wednesday at 6pm, maybe the regular cook wasn’t there because the burgers were overcooked and dry and void of flavor. We had to dress it up with salt and pepper to get it down. Service was ok. But let me assure you that my ½ lb burger was not a $ 10 burger. Will not be returning.

Old place in an old strip mall and it looks well worn inside, but the floors and tables are totally clean and the waitstaff are friendly. The burgers are pretty darn good: I ordered the 1⁄3 pound Chili Cheese burger with onion rings: piping hot crunchy onion rings and a tasty burger with a think meaty chili on top on a very fresh bun. Then we got dessert: appears to be homemade too, the banana pudding was tasty and not too sweet and the strawberry pis was old school«with jello» style.

Fries good People good Burgers best ever. Been down the entire menu. You can’t go wrong. Moved to Grand Prairie and was on Unilocal tonight looking for a great burger place and forgot about …how could I. Felt like my family where regulars here a couple years back when we first moved here from K. C…The Holmes will be back this weekend… OU burger or the Haley… I can’t decide.

Nothing better after a long hard bike ride(bicycle) than a big ol’ burger! We found this place on Unilocal and headed in for our burger experience. It was very good! Good clean atmosphere, friendly service, juicy burgers! Cool little joint, really. chow!

Put the looks aside for a moment, ok. The burger at Mr. B’s is a rarity in that it is a technical wonder. The patty is very thick and cooked through yet it maintains juiciness and more importantly, the texture of the ground was adequately loose and finely granulated. How do they do this? I mean, this ain’t Minetta Tavern’s Black Ribbon champion but it has some qualities of that illustrious burger. The fine grind, the thickness, the softness, part of the juiciness… it’s kinda there. On top of that, Mr. B’s has managed to make a sizable patty that does not ooze of grease. My oh my. How??? I’ve done the standards in DFW like Simply Burger, Twisted, Angry Dog, Fred’s, Kincaid’s, Jakes, the multi pound monstrosity in Oak Cliff(Wingfield sp?) we’re talking man-ly satisfaction here… but in terms of patty quality and finesse, Mr. B’s is something refreshingly unique.

This little joint shares a shopping center with a neighborhood walmart. Burgers are reasonably priced and noticeably different from your typical chain burger. Definitely one of the better burgers in town with friendly service and upbeat yet relaxed atmosphere.

Best burger around. The Haley Burger and the Jan Burger comes HIGHLYRECOMMENDED! Super good fries to go with it. We drive 15 miles to get there and it’s waaaay worth it. Great service and comfortable friendly environment. Did I mention it’s the best burger Texas has to offer?

Spotted this place in the corner of a shopping center and thought I’d try it… oh my goodness! Hands down the best burger I have eaten in years! The cheese sticks, fried pickles and onion rings were to die for as well! Can’t wait to try their banana pudding!

Really nice ambiance and wait staff and owner, but i wasn’t impressed by my burger at all. It has all the look of and awesome burger, but lacked the punch. I have nothing but nice things to say about the people and location, the burger wasn’t for me. Maybe it was a bad day, I can’t see how it couldn’t impress me when the people that work there are awesome.

Food took too long to come out. Chili was lukewarm and seemed from a can, microwaved. My cheeseburger was ok but my husband’s Jan burger was like eating an overcooked hamburger hockey puck. Coke tasted odd. French fries tasted mildly like fish sticks.(Same oil?) Very good service though. Bun was also nicely toasted, so they got that going for them, which is nice.

Love the fried mushrooms and their cheeseburgers are amazing! Good food fast is the best way to describe this place!

Not a bad burger at all. Pretty good actually. However, I prefer a Medium Rare burger and Mr. B’s serves them Medium Well. I believe the reason for this is due to the use of frozen patties. I don’t know if they actually use frozen patties or not, but that is typically the restaurant procedure with frozen meat.

This place has amazing burgers… the first time my husband and I came here we thought we just had a good cook the first time, so the second time solidified the fact that their burgers are amazing… we tried several different things and they were all good. You feel at home here. Closes kinda early, but that’s the only barely negative.

The base burger is tasty and we’ll seasoned. The Chipotle is actually SPICY and not just watered now sauce. The cook actually cooked as REQUESTED and kept the burger medium and made the fries crispy. The tea is actually brewed and tastes sooo good. We will definitly be back and will bring the kids. It’s not a big place, but the Texas Tech/OU house divided theme and décor is cute. There is a sprinkling of other Texas schools and teams included.

It took me almost four years of living in A-town to try this place, mainly because every time I would think of coming, it was a Sunday. But I finally bucked the trend and got in here a couple weeks back and I’m glad I did. When we first walked in, it seemed the whole restaurant turned and stared at us. You know the look — it’s the one you see in the old Western movies where the protagonist rides into a new town that«doesn’t see a lot of strangers.» It wasn’t unfriendly, just a bit freaky. However, our service was actually very good. They have quite a few burgers on the menu, several of which sounded really good but I went with an old standby — the patty melt. In Texas restaurants often have their own interpretation of a patty melt but a ‘real’ patty melt is simply a grilled sandwich with rye bread, american cheese, grilled onion and the patty. Mr. B’s offers theirs with swiss cheese, so I requested a substitution(which unfortunately they forgot to do, but their swiss didn’t have the bitter taste of most of what Americans call Swiss cheese, so it worked out ok). Really my only complaint about the burger otherwise is they didn’t butter the bread before they grilled it(which I will have to request next time). Otherwise it was quite what I was expecting. I liked their fries. We were too full for dessert. Prices were about standard for«gourmet» burgers. Overall, a solid member of the Arlington burger scene. If I want a non-fast-food burger and don’t want to drive to Fort Worth, and it’s not Sunday, I’ll come here again.
