I’m not sure what news program was on during their breakfast hours but it was very offensive and sexest. I did not like having my children exposed to it.

This is quite possibly one of the best Residence Inns I’ve ever stayed in. The room is clean and the facilities seem updated, if not, it’s well maintained. The staff is friendly and also willing to hold on to your stuff if you ever have to make another trip in the next few weeks. Obviously, you have to ask nicely or at least try to build a rapport with them. I was a little disappointed with the gym. It’s only 2 treadmills, one elliptical and a set of free weights. Granted, I’d only bump into one other person working out at 6:30am, but the room is small, however Residence Inn Appleton does provide all the amenities that the Residence Inn franchises provide: television in the gym room, clean towels and a water cooler. The meals are pretty much standard fair: scrambled eggs, meats, waffles, and yogurt parfaits. I also like how they provide Nutri-Grain cereal bars or Nature Valley granola bars too in case that’s more up your alley, or I’ll take a few for a snack later in the office. The sink faucets are decent — not too much water gets inadvertently sprayed at you. I wish the shower had slightly stronger power(this was even after adjusting the Speakman shower head), but adjustment of the temperature was good. I’ll probably come back to stay at this hotel since it’s so close to the Outagamie County Airport.

The perfect home away from home. Large comfortable two room suites with full kitchen including dishwasher, full fridge and microwave. Some of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve come across. Solid complimentary breakfast as well as early evening meals catered by local restaurants, and free beer and sodas on tap. Superb staff always ready with a smile. Small but modern gym and indoor pool. Free Internet that is fast and easily accessible. Slightly noisy at times with wooden flooring but it has not been bothersome at all. Lots of free parking available and well within walking distance to the Fox River Mall, numerous eateries and stores. The ultimate in long stay venues!

Upgrading the rooms and lobby. The new rooms are great.

Spacious rooms… located next to the mall. A lot nicer than the Fairfield

Big pimpin’ in a two room suite at the Residence Inn in Appleton! My sugar daddy sure knows how to treat me. The rooms were nice, and if we had planned to stay for more than one night the kitchenette would have been useful to cook our own meals. I enjoyed being able to make a pot of coffee in the morning instead of that crappy little two-cup coffee maker that most hotel rooms have. The Residence Inn is dog friendly and it was nice to have the space for the pooch to roam around after being cooped up in a car all day.

Very nice place to stay. Every room comes with a kitchen that is stocked with pots and pans, dishes, and utensils. I would buy food at the local Copp’s and make myself a meal. I never did dishes and every day after work, I would find clean dishes in the mini-dishwasther. Talk about great service! Some dishes had food stuck on them that I wouldn’t even touch. Breakfast is complimentary and very good. I kept it simple though, yogurt, fruit, and a toast, since these hotels always have the worst food for your figure. There’s an indoor pool and gym that I didn’t use, but it’s just as nice. I stayed here and the Fairfield, both right next to each other. If you want to spend the extrra moola for a kitchen, then this place is good. It’s safe, the staff are friendly, and it’s right next to the mall.
