Staff friendly, that’s about all I can say… We wanted something quick, thought we’d try new spot on our way back to freeway. …nope not again. Chicken wasn’t fully cooked, and pie was as it was sitting for a couple days under heat lamp, filling was all dried up. Not sure maybe newbie cook’s and we got wrong time but was worst stop besides Vegas..

My daughter’s pineapple float looks NOTHING like the picture. When I asked, «isn’t this supposed to have ice cream in it?» the girl responded, «there’s ice cream in there.» Highly disappointed that they can call this thing a «float» when there was about 2 teaspoons of ice cream in it at most.

Came here after hearing it was«Da bomb!» How can you pass up the opportunity when it presents itself? The place is clean and paid homage to the 70s due to the colors: red, yellow, orange. It was clean and nicer than your average fast food. I had the 2 piece of chicken/2 sides and a dessert, mango peach pie, which is like a McDonald’s apple pie. The chicken was fresh and hot. Nice and crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The potatoes were good and the gravy was plentiful. But honestly, I was expecting way more. It was good. I don’t know if «Da Bomb…»

… So yah it’s been a while. This place really sucks. Last time here the chicken was so under cooked and raw it make me sick to my stomach. I blame the management cause the kids working there are like 15 years old. There’s a lot of smart 15 year olds, not here though. Every time we pass by here we remember how crappy the food and service is here. Yes I know it’s the Filipino McDonald’s, was worse in my opinion. Never again.

I can’t do it again. It was late and we just wanted to grab a bite. I love fried chicken and they do make it nice and crispy. They make a nice fried chicken that was tasty… for about 5 minutes. After that, you start to notice how salty it actually is, fatty and the weird gelatinous globs inside that is probably their injected seasoning. Since I was no longer starving after the first piece, I didn’t find it that desirable anymore-we should have waited at Roscoe’s. Then there is the gravy for the chicken or whatever else you didn’t find everything overly salted enough-I don’t get it, but it did help the bland fries. We also had their cheeseburger with the pitiful beef puck and strange mayo based sauce. Two stars, so that I’ll remember not to go to any Jollibee again. The strangely elevated price for subpar food is for the uninformed. You’ve been warned.

At this rate, anything is better than KFC. Jollibee’s fried chicken is amazing! They’re super crunchy and packed with awesome flavor. The mashed potatoes and corn were great as well. Definitely looking forward to trying out their other items, like the Amazing Aloha and Burger Steak.

(May 23, 2016) waited for an Aloha Burger combo for 30 minutes. It would have been okay if the place was busy, but it wasn’t. Someone else ordered an Aloha Burger combo 5 minutes after me and was able to get his order less than 10minutes. One of the staff members was rude while getting the fries, but another was kind enough and packed my order as quick as she could.

I’m surprised this place has a low rating. Customer service is great and the food is awesome. I got off late, around 8pm, so it wasn’t really packed. Lots of seating available and just in case you want something sweet to eat red ribbon is right next door. Literally. Hope you all enjoy.

So sad to see this place get such low ratings. I love Jollibee! My favorite is their burger steak, it is a beef patty served with gravy, mushrooms, and steamed rice. I know it’s basic but I love how it’s so simple yet taste so good. On days when I’m having a sweet tooth, I’ll finish my meal off with their peach mango pie. It’s so delicious, especially when it’s warm. They used to have a deal where it’s cheaper if you get two but they got rid of it. As for their service, it’s always been great to me. There’s always a line with 1 or 2 customers but it always goes by quick. I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my food. It’s a decent place considering it is fast food.

Positives: Really tasty fried chicken. Better than KFC or Popeyes. I think they cook it in coconut oil and that’s what makes it taste different. Their spaghetti is another good menu item. The sauce is slightly sweet and the portion is good for the price. Pearl Coolers(boba drink) are also tasty. I like the purple one better than the green one. Negatives: Even when there’s hardly anyone there, the service can be dreadfully slow, and there are times when you’ll be first in line and the employees won’t even acknowledge you because they’re running around doing other things. Their burgers and hotdogs aren’t really good either. If you’re in the mood for a hamburger, hit up the Wendy’s across the street.

I was ecstatic to see that there was Filipino food places in the middle of a random shopping center I drove past in Anaheim, so I stopped to get my fill of Jollibee which is unfortunately unavailable in Santa Monica. From the get-go, something was off. A woman greeted me at the speaker and then a man took over in the middle, taking my order and then just going silent. Not knowing what was going on, I drove forward to the window. At the window, the man was there and he didn’t acknowledge me nor ask for my card right away, I just sat there holding my card until he asked for it. Then, without an words, he handed me what I had to believe was my full meal and closed the window. I was actually taken aback by how rude this was — not that fast food drive thrus are known for their service, but this was exceptionally bad. The food was of the quality to be expected, although I didn’t end up finishing it and instead opted for bakery items from Red Ribbon. All in all, the service left a bad impression and I don’t think I’ll be doing drive thru at this location again, Chow King or Red Ribbon look like better options. It’s too bad, because I have some fond memories of Jollibee from my childhood.

POORDRIVE-THRUETIQUETTE JAN14, 2016 at 1:00PM I’m very surprised by the lack of customer service etiquette of 2 of the attendants at the drive thru today, one female and one male. The female opened up the window and just stood there WITHOUT acknowledging me. I didn’t realize she was standing there as I was getting my debit card out of my wallet and was cleaning it a bit since some of my wife’s powder fell on it. I looked up and there she was standing there just waiting for me to hand over my card. There was no «How are you! Your total is $ 21.46.» Rather she was dead silent. As she handed back my card, there was no «Thank you. It will be just a moment for your order.»(Since the order took a few minutes before it came.) Again, she was just silent as she handed back my card. After a few minutes, a gentleman came to hand me 2 plastic bags of food. Again, no «Thank you. We’ll see you next time.» Or the typical Filipino greeting of «Thank you, Come again» or «Salamat po. Sa uulitin.» So I HADTOASKHIM, «Am I all set?» And he didn’t respond. I don’t think he head me. So I said in a louder voice, «Is that it? Is everything here?» to which he finally responded, «Yes.» As a business owner, I am very particular about customer service. I don’t care if the food your serve reminds me of my childhood in Manila. I’m not going to keep coming back at least to this branch if you don’t change your customer service policy, or ENFORCEITPROPERLY. The three stars are for my not so recent, and relatively better, experience and for the nostalgic, yet overpriced, food you serve. That should be a 2.5 but I’m feeling generous today.

Sometimes I can’t help myself and need the gravy fries from Jollibee, a poor mans poutine really. Nothing healthy about it, but cheap and filling and their chicken joy is pretty good as well. Pass on everything else. Quality is not the best, but prices are fair and food is filling even though portions are small. Service was great and food came out quickly, clean and well maintained location.

Jollibee is like the McDonald’s of the Philippines. They have some good chicken, burgers, spaghetti, and palabok with a fast food twist. I cannot say that the palabok is the best, but for the speed it comes out, it’s pretty good. The spaghetti is also pretty authentic considering Filipinos like to add sugar/banana sauce to it to make it sweeter. The chicken is a lot better also than many American styled places. A lot of the items on the menu are really good, but for a higher price than what you’d expect. I can’t really say that I would be down to always get Jollibee but it’s a plus that this one is a lot nicer than the other one nearby and has a Drive Thru. Customer service is also not bad.

The Jolly Bee beckons you inside to try the crispylicious spicy fried chicken. Pretty good I must say. Good thing my buddhist Thai ex-gf couldn’t convert me to vegan and give up fried chicken forever, though she tried very hard. But the Filipinos have no scruples with this golden delight, and are converting the overseas masses, one person at a time. Pinay Pride.

Yummy place for fried chicken & rice! The chicken is always fresh, perfectly fried, and really big compared to kfc & Popeyes. They also serve it with gravy… delicious! I also get the palabok, ube boba, and Halo halo here. The palabok is pretty good but pricey at $ 5 for a small side. The halo halo is inconsistently good… sometimes perfectly made, sometimes unsweet depending on who made it. They also have spaghetti which I’m not a fan of because its too sweet for my liking. Basically, aside from the chicken and rice, everything else is pretty pricey for the amount they give. Their customer service is also lacking, but i guess that’s pretty typical for a fast food place. They pretty much just talk to each other and ignore the customers for the most part. But if you do come, be sure to try the chicken & rice!

If you visited the Philippines and ate there, then this is great to have one in the US. I love the chicken and they are very friendly here. The chicken is so crispy, the rice is always yummy, and the mash potatos are so good. I’m not a fan of Filipino spaghetti(Its sweet) but my other friends love it. I’m glad a Red Ribbon is connected to it.

Totally a Unique fast food dining experience. The menu looks like it was written by a 5 year old. Hot dog slices in spaghetti, gravy with chicken drumstick, bits of pork in the fried rice for their breakfast options… WEWEREINHEAVEN. They have spam sliders! Chicken sliders! Everything was so tasty. This would be my cheat day place if there was one closer to us. We tried the breakfast sausage rice plate(sweet Asian style sausage 5 stars). Tried the spaghetti, fried chicken, sliders, and even went to Red RIbbon to get some cakes to go(individually wrapped like Hostess)

JOLLYSPAGHETTI is my fav!!! It’s nostalgic for me because I grew up eating this stuff. Italians would be offended, but it’s a FIlipino fav. Thick and sweet spaghetti sauce with chopped hotdogs and melted cheddar cheese on top. Soooo delicious! Unfortunately, it’s the only thing that makes me come back to Jollibee. The rest of the food on their menu are pretty blah. Quality is not very good. They have chicken and burgers that are sometimes a hit or miss. Sometimes you can taste it’s been fried in old oil, which gives your mouth a nasty after taste, while the burger buns are sometimes old because the bottom is hard O_o. Very disappointing. I just stick with Jolly Spaghetti and their Peach Mango Pie. This location is pretty small and located inside a business plaza. Staff are always friendly to me. They also have a drive-thru, which I find very convenient.
