I have missed feeling about writing a review for this place. I had a taste for the Mango Cake, and drove to the Anaheim location. Store is always clean, and nice presentation in the case. I asked the young man on the freshness of the cakes, and he told they were baked daily. I decided to go with the Mango roll-I was a bit hesitant since he took it out of the fridge. I couldn’t wait to take my cake home, and dig into it. I was totally disappointed in the quality of the Mango roll, it was dry and lacked flavor. I’ve been to this store plenty of times, and they usually are very good-but they totally missed the freshness test this time.

I love these buttery baked goods! I’ll stop by every other month or so and indulge a bit. Butter mamon: Buttery, fluffy, and fattening — everything I love in my mamon. Cheesy ensaimada: This is probably my favorite item! Bread covered in butter and topped with sprinkles of cheese. Mango bars: Sweet chewy bars with mango bits. Yum! I think it’s a taaad overpriced for individually wrapped breads that aren’t exactly fresh from the oven, but the quality is worth it!

1 star cause you can’t get any lower… They lost their quality of the baked goods. I’ve been coming to RR since I lived in Cerritos now that I live in Anaheim I go to this location. But not anymore! Bought a chocolate coffee cake for my wife’s Bday today(her favorite cake) but when she tasted it she had a grotesque look on her face that as if she took a bite of something foul. I also took a bite and noticed that this cake is far from what I remember it to be. Again they lost the quality and with that a family of customers. «You can never buy loyal customers, but you can loose them.» JJ

Display area was full. When it came to ordering, however, they offer not even half of what was in the display…-____–

This review is based solely on the Halo Halo. I was in this deep craving for Halo Halo and boy, usually I trek myself all the way to Cerritos to the what used to be Goldilocks and now Leelin Bakery & Café for their Halo Halo, but I felt the last time I went, they left out some ingredients so I decided to change my usual place and find a different place that served this stuff. So I came over here, a lot closer to my house and work. I went with another friend and we both have tried Leelin and we both agreed, theirs was better than Red Ribbon Bakeshop’s. I felt they lacked the Ube ice cream that just makes everything better and they were missing out on the fresh Jackfruit that the halo halo usually has at the other bakery. Overall, I would still go to Leelin, even though last time they forgot my jackfruit and lacked all the components such as the coconut jelly and the palm fruit and all that. I still prefer Leelin’s over Red Ribbon Bakeshop over here in Anaheim. Word.

Lots of individually wrapped cakes kinda like Hostess. Light airy sponge cakes, chiffon cakes, and ube flavor cakes. I like their mango bar(kinda a slice of cake with mango bits in it). I would like to try the other desserts next time we are in town. I kinda filled up on food and just took a few to go. It was nice to pop in after we got a bit of brunch at Jollibee next door.

I got a round mango cake for a birthday party. The bits of manila mango added just the right amount of sweetness in between layers of sponge cake and mango cream frosting. I called 10 min ahead to make sure it was available and it was, but they can’t write on the cake until its paid for. After paying, on paper I wrote the message that I wanted on the cake. They used the right color but without asking me, they decided to take a shortcut! I dislike the writing«B-day,» I think it’s cheesy and just lazy. I don’t think it’s that difficult to spell birthday… because I wrote it down with exact spelling. The cake was delicious, but if you don’t mind cake writing shortcuts, you’ll be happy.

Yum was all I could smell walking into this place! Imediately walking in I saw their glass counter that was filled with delicious baked goods ranging from Mango angel cake, to ube coconut rolls, to macaroons and other Filipino based breads and pastries. Although the selection didn’t hold a large plethora of options the choices that they do have are pleasing to the taste buds. Personally I have tried out the Mango angel cake and the black forest chocolate cake and they have both been delightful and not too heavy. Along with that the service here was expedient, fast, and the workers were very polite. Haven’t gotten service like this from a bakery in quite a while. I will definitely be back again for a birthday cake or two, especially since writing a message on the cake and candles are free of charge and all of my family/friends birthdays seem to land on or around the same time in the year, conveniently.

Very friendly staff. Fresh baked goods! My kids love the mocha mamon but all the flavors are wonderful. The ube cake is delicious and I have not found ube anywhere else! Mango cake here is super moist and is not seasonal which is wonderful. Great meal deals too which includes a drink and piece of cake! The arroz caldo is very tasty. The empanadas have a very flaky and buttery crust.

How could I not venture into this bakery before today? Most people know that ChowKing, Red Ribbon Bakeshop, and Jollibee are owned by Filipinos, and rightfully so, because you’ll never find one without the others at any location. When you walk in to any of the stores, you’ll notice that they’re all connected to each other, so you could walk into all three shops but just entering one door! It’s pretty cool in my opinion. There’s a little stand that’s setup with their baked goods of the day. They even offer deals on some of their pastries(buy 6, get 1 free!) I saw many of the older ladies grabbing the deal bags. They even have baskets for you to put your pastries in. It’s nothing like 85 degree bakery, but it’s cute nonetheless. If you buy a pastry or cake that’s dated THAT day or the DAYAFTER, they’ll give you 20% off of that pastry, even though they said that it’s good for another day or two. HOWCOOL?! Be sure to check the expiration date if this bothers you. Cheesy Sweet Bread $ 1.50: THEWAYTOGO! It looks like there’s a lot of cheese on it, but it’s such a subtle taste of cheese that you barely even notice it. The sweetness of the bread definitely takes over the cheesiness. They also have just the sweet bread or butter bread if you’re not into cheese. The service is excellent! Super friendly and helpful.

The cake was okay but really rude customer service. The moment im ready to order the cashier asks me: «What do you want?» I mean seriously? You were trained to say that to customer? Anyway i tried to ask her what flavor is the cake called Brazo de Mercedes. She looked at me like i didnt know what i was talking about and didnt answer. I ended up with that cake anyway since my friend wanted it. After she charged my card she technically threw the pen and the receipt at me and told me: «sign it!». No please? I dont know about others’ experience at this place but to me this is unacceptable. Never gonna come back here again.

Good pastries! Workers were fine. Nothing to comment on. The place connected with two other restaurants. They need to clean their tables more. The bathroom were decent. But I wouldn’t use it beside washing hands. Will try their birthday cake next time.

If I could give a 0 stars I would! This place sucks and not to mention the employees really don’t know what their doing! First we went there to buy a cake. A mango cake for 19.99. The cashier took my card and charged it and said it didn’t go through. So, she took my card again and charged it. This time I got a receipt. Went home and realized she charged my card twice. So, I called red ribbon spoke to a supervisor and was advised to go back to red ribbon to get the money back. She also stated the cashier should have not tried to charged the card again but should of asked helped from the supervisor. Apparently she didn’t! The supervisor told us to go back with the card and copy of the bank statement. The next day we went back and the supervisor wasn’t there so they told us to come again! What a waste of time! Today we went to get a refund and they asked for a copy of the new bank statement to make sure it was still taking out!!! Never again will I go back to this place. If only their staff new what there were doing we wouldn’t have to go back and forth! Maybe next time they should be trained better!!! It’s definitely a training issue!!! Good job red ribbon! You have a unsatisfied customer plus a really bad Unilocal review! I’ll be going to red ribbon again but not this location!!!

This Red Ribbon branch is located in a center with other awesome store such as 99 Ranch supermarket, Daiso Japan, Ten Ten Restaurant, Jollibee, Yogurtland and others. It’s a one stop shop for most Asians and that’s why the parking lot, though big, is almost always full. Red Ribbon is known for their cakes and pastries. On this occasion, we got the Rocky Road Cake And it was great!!!

We stopped in while waiting for our Jollibee order. I picked up a few of their Cheesy Mamon. The staff consisted of a group of girls that were giggling loudly in the back room. There wasn’t really anyone in the dining area, but I felt they should have kept their chatter level to a minimum to maintain a bit of professionalism.

Dropped in to get Mom something to munch on since I was in the area. Picked up a couple Cheese Ensaymada and Coconut Macroons for the road. Food(3) Was not to surprised with the Cheese Ensaymada. It was pretty basic, small size and visibly a lot of cheese with not much sugar. Personally, amongst the quick Filipino bakeries, Goldilocks’s CE is a lot more flavorful. The Macroons however were more appetizing. Small bites of great flavor. They had about the right moisture and texture. They were not over-cooked and still kept their flavor and feel. Great travel snacks for your cheat-days! Service(4) The cashier was very friendly, easy going and attentive. Quick service. Pretty standard pricing. Environment(3.5) The store was clean especially considering how busy it was. Environment was fairly loud but tolerable. Great for families and takeout.

All I can say is if you’re in for more empanada for $ 1.99 get em’ here. I’ve heard Red Ribbon is known for their empanadas. If you compare these to the Latin ones, Red Ribbon makes them bigger and beefier. But getting their chicken empanadas here taste plain. The crust on these are doughy and soft, they’re delicate indeed.(I’d opt. for the beef empanada it’s tastier). It sucks they do not provide dipping sauces with the empanadas. I had to add sriracha for some flavor and to spice it up on this already flavorless treat at home. To twist it a bit, I had some left over spice sauce and chimchurri dips, I got from Empanada Man(Argentine Restaurant) we had the other night for dipping. They didn’t really go perfectly well but it was ok. One I thing I do get from the bakery side is the Ensaimada. It’s light dough slightly sprinkled with sugar topped with melted butter and grated cheese. They come wrapped but sometimes they taste a little dry, it’s best to reheat these in the microwave to get them moist. I like these as breakfast. This bakery is connected to the right side of Jollibee.

Used to love them until now. My friend boughtbags of butter mamon and brought some over, I opened one after my husband left and found some really disappointing stuff in the bag. I found thick BLACK(not even green but BLACK) MOLDS in every bag! Most of which were hiding inside the bread and under the dark name. They had placed the breads mixed with the goods and bads… and by that I mean in one bag, the good ones were on top of the bad bread. I hope my non-filipino husband opened one good mamon because this is something the HEALTHDEPARTMENT would really like to bust! Check your food for anything unusual before you leave the bakery or even pay them for it because they dont care for your health they NEED to SELL their food! NEVERAGAINWITHREDRIBBON’s of EUCLID, ANAHEIM!
