Alright Thai place, good for the area it’s in. Went for dinner on a Friday night around 7:30pm. Place was mostly empty, other than 2 – 3 other small parties. Décor was nice, place was very clean and organized. Waiter asked for drink orders, and drinks were delivered quickly. We ordered 3 dishes — spicy eggplant(mild, with tofu), pad see ew(with beef), green curry(mild, with chicken). We waited quite awhile for our food to arrive. The table next to us, a lady and 2 kids who ordered same amount of items as us it seemed, got their food first and much more ahead of time than we did. We had to wave down waiter and ask where our food was. Food finally came out, plates and portions look big but in reality it was deciding since plates were shallow. For the prices paid, would have gotten more quantity elsewhere. Not surprised though, since this place was in Anaheim Hills and thus more expensive than usual. Spicy eggplant was good — mild was not too spicy, eggplant was soft and tender. Tofu was good as well. came with bowl of white rice. Entrée dish portion was too small for being priced almost at $ 10. Pad see ew was pretty good — this plate was much less oily than all the other Thai places I’ve been too. I especially liked that aspect about this dish. Comes with decent amount of meat and broccoli. Sauce was a bit too sweet though. Portion was decent — once again, at other places with the same price, would have gotten double the amount of food. Green curry was good — mild had quite a bit of spice and kick to it. Decent amount of chicken pieces in it. Biggest portion size in terms of curry itself. Came with bowl of white rice. Waiters weren’t too attentive after food arrived. We had to wave them down and remind them to refill our drink glasses on multiple occasions. Overall, would only come back here if I was craving Thai food and didn’t want to travel too far out of Anaheim Hills area.

more like 3.5÷5 stars. i judge a thai place by its pad thai. if you fuck up on your pad thai, i will not come back. luckily for imperial thai, they passed my test. the pad thai was really flavorful and filling. we also got the pineapple fried rice and finished our dinner with the coconut sticky rice dessert. mind you, it was my first time eating sticky rice dessert, and god damn, trust me, i will be getting more in the future. the parking lot of this plaza is typically crowded. my only gripe was that the service was kinda slow and lacking…

8÷1÷15 Visit Good — 4.5 Service — 4 Great tasting food at great prices. Lunch is a fabulous deal with more variety than other Thai places. Kids like the honey orange dish! That says a lot. There spice level 2(out of 5) makes me grab the water and great flavor. 3 makes me sweat and lips burn. Want to see someone eat the 5. Their level 1 has spice the kids prefer to mix their noodle dish with the sweet sauce from the rolls. Great flavor. Ambience is nice. Instrumental music on background. Quaint place with 84-toppers. Service could be better with refilling water — typically have to flag someone down for water refill especially with the spicy dishes even they came t the table 3 times asking if e Then again I drink a lot of water. Love the places that leave the carafes of cold water at the table after they bring your water. But with the drought, I don’t see that happening too much. Kee Mao and see yew are go to dishes.

We went in for dinner and were greeted right away. We were sat and provided menus. We asked what was the best dishes they had. The rice dishes and some stir fry dishes. So we ordered both. The fried rice was great! we got the Crab fried rice. We also got the pork stir fry with vegies. Both dishes were great! the service was good and the place was clean! I will be coming back for more that is for sure!

Literally my favorite Thai place in a 15 mile radius. I am a sucker for Thai basil and this is the only Thai place with consistency on its dishes. I’ve literally tried 10 Thai places since moving to the area and the struggle I find is other places NEVER make their dishes spicy enough. Imperial Thai is always on point with this every single time. My husband and I go here at least once a week for take out. The drunken noodles is also an awesome dish!

This place is awesome. Whether you eat in or order takeout. I have eaten here and ordered from here multiple times. The green curry is delicious. Their fresh spring rolls are as authentic as you can find in Orange County. I also recommend the drunken noodles. My only gripe is that the place seems to be short staffed. When I went last, there was 1 person waiting on all the tables, taking the phone calls, and wrapping up takeout orders. I think the owners should do more to market their business. Still I am a repeat customer.

Best Thai food in the area. I’ve tried probably 10 other places in the area and this is by far the best. I order the Pad Thai everytime and it rarely disappoints. The serving sizes are big enough for two meals and the prices are pretty good! Only downside is the service can be a little slow, but the two waiters are very nice. Definitely recommend! They also have great lunch specials!

Our first time here. 4 stars on service. 3 stars on the food. Chicken curry gets a 4. 0 Stars on the orange chicken. The rest of the chow mei and chicken and vegetables lacking flavor. Might be s a matter of preference, but we won’t be back .

Amazing Thai food! It takes quite some time to get your food but at least you know your food is fresh. Husband gets the red curry and I got the pad see ew with chicken. Everything’s delicious and staff are very friendly. Negative: only 2 employees are covering the whole restaurant. They look overwhelmed trying to cover every table and I wish management sees that they’re overworking their staff.

My boyfriend and I came here for new years eve, he had made a reservation we didn’t know if they were busy or not so it was just in case. We didn’t need one but it was so nice of them to do it anyways! I absolutely loved this place! It’s our new go to! The service was great, its a smaller size restaurant. But there are a good amount of tables. They seemed to be busy for the Togo orders and guess what THEYDELIVER!!! Anyways I got the pad Thai with chicken at a level 3? I believe I forgot but it was perfect I added a little bit of their chili sauce they give you on the side but that’s cause I love spicy! My boyfriend got the spicy basil with beef. He got a level 2? He’s not as adventurous as I am with spice but to each their own! Dessert is what they are known for from the reviews we read and we got this delicious coconut ice cream with sweet sticky rice OMGTODIEFOR! it was so gooodddd!!! They have a good selection of alcoholic drinks my man tried a Thai beer and I had a sip and it was tasty! But I would go here for sure! JUSTDONTGOHEREWHENIMHERE haha I don’t want it busy!

I’ve never been big on Thai food, but this place has changed my mind. We ordered for delivery last Sunday night. They have free delivery within 4 miles and we are located 4.7 miles away. They were nice enough to never mention this issue and give us free delivery anyway. Also, very friendly on the phone and in person. Service is always important to my wife and I. Now on to the food. We had the beef salad, pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, and Imperial Thai sampler. Everything was outstanding! So much flavor and very good portions. I never ate so much Thai food in one sitting ever. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others. You guys are awesome.

Thai food is now becoming as common as Chinese food in SoCal, and but to find one that serves really amazing Thai food, is sometimes hard, depending on where you live. I came here for take out, but my first impression of the restaurant itself is that its a very intimate and narrow space, but very nicely decorated with Thai style pictures, artwork, and miscellaneous cultures artifacts. Great spot for a small group meal, or even for a date. We got the Snow crab fried rice, which was very good, and they really do use real crab meat on this, and thus, its a little expensive for fried rice. if its for a special occasion, then its worth it. The Honey flavored chicken was sweet, spicy, and crispy. The portion size for this was enough for three people. The Panang Curry with tofu was very good. I recommend at least a spicy level 3(medium), so that you can truly enjoy the coconut and spicy flavors of this dish without feeling that flavor of the dish is watered-down, or being too hot to eat! I wish they had the Green Tea Crème Brulee the night I did take out, so ask for it, but beware they won’t always have it :( If you are in the Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda area, this is the spot to go at the moment for amazing Thai food! I will be back!

BIGPORTIONS! Their lunch specials are cheaper than Supatra’s Thai Bistro and the portions are bigger too. I ordered food to go. I had their Lunch Special BEEFPADTHAI $ 7.95 and it was more than enough for 2 people. Beef was cooked right and it was a really good dish. I also had their Lunch Special CHICKENSATAY $ 7.95 and it came with 5 chicken skewers. Meat was tender and the side cucumber relish and peanut sauce went well with it. I’d order it again! Located in a small business plaza. It’s pretty small and narrow, but the interior is beautiful. I wanna try dining in next time!

Last night we were super lazy and tired and I didn’t want to cook, so we got delivery from Imperial Thai. This was the first time I have ordered from them, and I know I will be ordering again soon! — FREE delivery within 4 miles — FREE white rice — I know some places charge you for it — Delivery time was quoted at 45 minutes and they got to my house in 30 — $ 30 for three items, all large portions, a great deal! Pad Thai — I don’t care for Pad Thai, but my man wanted it. He said it was okay, but didn’t have much flavor. I won’t knock them for that, cause I never would have ordered it. Pad See Ew — Fantastic! So saucy and tasty. Reheated great for lunch today. Big portion. Honey Orange Sticky Chicken — This dish took them from 4 stars to 5. This is seriously some of the best chicken I have ever had. They are small, super crispy pieces of chicken, almost like fried chicken, covered in a sticky honey sauce. Not too orangey. We both LOVED this dish and when we reheated for lunch today, it was still super crispy! Glad I tried this place out, i’m looking forward to trying more from them!

Sometimes it’s hard to get a bead on Unilocaler’s ratings for Thai food. For some, it’s a world of new flavors and their first time experiencing«Chinese food» being dressed up and going to the prom. For others, these are family familiar dishes, and nobody is going to make it how Grandma did when they were little. It’s hard to agree on a price as there are quite a few places where you can get pretty good Thai food for well under $ 10. Once you get past that price point, most places will try to «upscale» their food by serving it on square plates and in triangular bowls. It’s usually a sign that you are about to pay $ 18 for a dish that other places costs $ 6.95. However at Imperial Thai Cuisine you get the best of both worlds, a nice looking presentation with quality ingredients at very fair price. It’s also nicely decorated and would make a good date spot. Here’s what I can report on so far… Tom Yum Goong Soup — this is a pretty chunky version with carrots and cabbage thrown in along with the usual mushrooms, tomato, and cilantro. I liked that they pulled the tails off the shrimp. I know soup is cooked with tails on usually to get more shrimp flavor into the broth, but is there anything more messy that trying to de-tail a shrimp in your soup? So well done — Imperial Thai. The lemongrass flavor was spot on and the soup was medium spicy. I added a little extra ground red pepper to bring up the spice level a bit. Cucumber Salad — if you’ve ever enjoyed the cucumber dipping sauce served with Chicken Satay, here’s a whole bowl of it for you with loads of slices of cucumber. Definitely refreshing to put out any fire from other spicy dishes. Chicken Satay — I always order this for my daughter when we go out for Thai food. This version is perfect for her, not spicy at all, but still flavorful. It’s not very charred and isn’t served over an open flame as some places do. The peanut dipping sauce is creamy and not too thick. I can see more seasoned eaters of Thai food finding this a little boring, but most likely they aren’t going to be ordering it anyway. Good to have simple options. Crab Rangoon appetizer — the only thing I didn’t like here. I’m embarrassed for ordering it, but my wife is a sucker for those cream cheese/crab things. These tasted like some frozen stuff, plus they were burnt. Plenty of other better sounding appetizers to get, so I’m not going to hold it against them. I so wish I tried the Thai pork sausage instead Green Curry Beef — I love me some green curry and their version hit the spot although I ordered it a 4 from 1 – 5 and it could have been hotter. Coconut milk based curry always puts out it’s own fire to a degree. But they serve some nice condiments for adding heat, so I dabbled with those and got it to my liking. The beef was tender and plenty of veggies such as eggplant, bamboo shoots, whole Thai basil leaves, and red bell pepper made for a colorful dish. Crying Tiger Beef — This is a nice salad with a well marinated flank steak. It’s charbroiled so it gets a crispy outside to the beef. This was cut in slices from two pieces of meat. One steak was cooked medium and had a pink center to it. It was delicious. The other unfortunately was well-done and cooked all the way through. It’s such a thin piece of meat that it’s easy to over cook it. Perhaps ask for medium rare, to ensure it doesn’t get over cooked. Don’t get me wrong, I happily ate the overcooked one and dipped it into the spicy lemon vinaigrette so it wasn’t too dry. The menu says Prime beef, but can it really be for such a large amount of it for $ 14? My wife loved this salad and will be getting it again for sure. Spaghetti Kee Mow with Chicken — Only order this if you like heat because even if you have them make it mild-spicy, you’re lips will still be tingling. I doubt this is an authentic dish, but it tastes good so who cares. Lo mein style noodles stir fried with assorted veggies and good quality white meat chicken. The sauce seems to be a blend of a few different things, so just like the name implies it’s a fusion thing. Fried Banana with Coconut Ice Cream — speaking of fusion things, this dessert is pretty darn good. Large chunks of banana inside a deep fried fritter rolled in toasted coconut, served with coconut ice cream and whipped cream. The side sauce was really what made this dessert. I asked what it was and was told honey, but that didn’t seem right to me. If I had to guess it was a passionfruit syrup of some kind. I’ve been here twice now. I’m sure I’ll be back often as I find myself in this area quite a bit and their 4.5 star rating is right on the money for this family owned establishment.

Thai ice tea was not bad. Tasted fresh not prebottled tasting. Chicken pad see ew, wasn’t bad, but not great either. Out of the 4 Thai places in the immediate area, Siam Savory tastes the best. Word of advice, do not sit at the table next to the door. It’s way too drafty. They need a partition between the table and the door. The table is just too close to the door. Feels like someone was going to walk into us.

There’s not that many Thai Restaurants around here so I’m glad that this place opened up near me. They have very good lunch specials! You get soup and salad with your entrée. I ordered Pad Se’ew and I loved it! It wasn’t too sweet or too salty. My boyfriend had Crying Tiger and that was really good as well. They use a different kind of sauce that we normally get at Thai Restaurants in LA and asked if they had that. Our server(who was very friendly and accommodating) said that’s the traditional way but with the area we are in, people prefer the sauce that they made for it. But he said next time we dine in, we can ask for the traditional sauce with the Crying Tiger and they’ll be able to make it. Service was fast and food was delicious. Now we don’t have to drive all the way up to LA for good Thai food. We can easily drive less than 5 miles away now! My boyfriend enjoyed this place too and wants to bring his family next time since their Laos and food is very similar. We’ll be back Imperail Thai!

Best Thai food in Orange County! For several years I have been on a quest for authentic, delicious Thai food that is made fresh to order. Finally I have found what my heart and stomach desire Imperial Thai has amazing flavors in each meal, spicy yet subtle flavor nuances that have me craving more of their dishes. Green Curry Shrimp has succulent shrimp, spicy green curry, juicy bamboo, tender yet firm eggplant, and a good kick when you are craving spicy. Crying Tiger has amazing peanut sauce and green lime cilantro sauce that add a beautiful clean flavor to the beef. BBQ Chicken has a yellow curry rub and a sweet plum sweet and sour sauce that make it one of my favorite dishes here. My friend tried the Chicken Satay and the skewers were deliciously flavored. Another friend had the coconut chicken soup and it came with baby bok choy and carrots and she said she needed to get the soup again it was so good. She also loved the egg rolls and the pad Thai. In addition to liking everything we have tried for food, there is also an amazing drink here: fresh young coconut! The fresh young coconut is a chilled coconut with a hole cut into the top just large enough for a straw and a spoon so that you and drink the coconut water and scoop out the soft coconut flesh to eat it. You can get the coconuts to go so my friend and I are planning to pick them up one day on the way to the beach! In addition to the tasty food, the prices are reasonable and the service is very friendly! I have been here a few times with different friends and the server remembers my food allergy — so considerate and caring! It feels like getting a home cooked meal by family. Absolutely love it here and need to come back just for dessert!
