I tried this place for the first time last night. It was a nice spot, great atmosphere and good size. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The DJ was amazing and the crowd was a site to see. I did not have the best of service with the first waitress I had. She brought on menu for 2 people. She brought out waters and never returned. I had to go get another waitress to help out. She was very faster and friendly with everything.

I’ve been here 3 times, ate there twice, had drinks all three times. I’ve enjoyed the food each time. The drinks have been s hit and miss. HOWEVER, the manager and his bartender were overly accommodating in making a good drink. I will definitely be back :-)

Very disappointing. We got there an hour after they opened. We order falafel appetizer when it came without bread I asked the server why she said the owner just went to get some. After we ate she delivered the pita bread. We also ordered the mixed grill and added the beef tenderloin skewer it was bland and unseasoned just like the ground beef it taste like a hamburger meat. The Chicken was good mildly seasoned. My ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich We all got our food except her. We were almost done with our meal when she got her sandwich which was awful the BREAD was the issue I guessed. The chicken shawarma meat was so overcooked it was crispy like jerky. Save yourself and avoid this place.

I’st time here. Food is GREAT but service is a 1 star. Asked for water twice and did not receive it. Food took 45 min to come out and the appetizer came out after our main course… now they were nice and paid for our appetizer. But i dont think we will come back to this location…

Went for Mother’s Day for a paint nite event. Drinks are nothing but sugar; staff is clueless and slow. Food looks like they got it out the freezer section of the grocery store. They charged me for all my drinks yet never brought us half. To save from making a scene in front of my mom I just went ahead and paid with zero tip. Of course she left a cash tip. THEYWENTAHEADANDADDED A TIPTHEMSELVESTOMYCARD! At this point I’m paying for 2 drinks I never received and tipping a nonexistent staff who seemed to not even had a day of training. Mind you the place is run down and the menu have items scratched off with a sharpie! Paint nite was great but they NEED to find another establishment to host at.

Great place for drinks and hookah. Went on a Friday night had a $ 10 cover(boo) but the music was good and the hookah was good. Decent environment not to many people. We were able to get a table at 1130pm without a problem, but the kitchen had closed. Would go back to hang out with friends and enjoy the hookah

Came here awhile back ago to watch the Conner McGregor UFC fight. Addison is busy, we all know that so it was pretty much impossible to find a place playing the fight without a wait. My S.O. And I were driving down midway about to give up and then we saw it… we were so happy to see that this place had it on their tv’s and the parking lot didn’t look too full. So skeptically, by excitedly we went inside. The manager/owner? was very nice but did inform us that if the place started to get full they were renting out the tables and that we’d have to move. There was only a birthday party going on and another family dining there. Even as the fight began it never got too packed. The food was good, but due to the lack of prices on the menu I should’ve known I was going to have a heart attack when I got my check. Maybe I’m just cheap but… Haha I probably won’t be back but if you’ve got money to splurge I don’t see why not.

Service was great as the servers were very attentive. My chicken and beef skewers was mediocre. My wife had the shrimp skewers and they were great and cooked perfectly. More of a bar then a place to go sit and eat. Maybe more a lunch spot than dinner.

I was here on Valentine’s Day for Paint Nite. I ordered the chicken kabob, and it was very delicious! The chicken was moist and seasoned well, and the basmati rice was cooked perfectly. If I wasn’t so determined to get fit in the next few months, I would have ordered another plate to take home. The waitress was so nice and consistently checked on us. I’ll definitely return and try more food.

Visited January 1st of 2016 with some friends for dinner/drinks. Place was a bit hidden off Midway adjacent to a Super 8 motel. Not very well lit on the oustide until I had to walk up to the door to make sure they were open, as there were only like 2 cars parked near the establishment. Place was dead inside, with only a few people smoking hooka in their oudoor/heated hooka lounge. Only one waitress was there and the owner/bartender/server helped her out as well. We sat in a booth in which the table was not bolted down correctly and tilted when you put your elbows on it. Drinks were mediocre and a bit watered down. The beer was also not very cold and had a bit of a carbonated taste to it. Food was actually decent, the Skewer burger and Gyro’s were on point and the beer battered fries were actually very good. Was told the sweet potato fries were ok as well. The other deal breaker was that when they were dimming the lights for mood lighting, the bulb above our table began flicking for several minutes. luckily it stopped flicking and buzzing and we all quickly at and eventually went to another establishment on Belt Line. Was surprised(and at the same time wasn’t) that the place was dead on a friday night around 7pm. I’m told their lunch buffets are actually really good and their lunch menu/prices are not bad. I’ll give this place another shot, but not anytime soon.

SOMUCHFOOD! Read the reviews & decided on the lamb & ground meat kabob. Wow! It was so good. Lamb was cooked perfectly, so was the ground meat. The rice was perfect & I substituted the cumber salad for French fries. The fries were like Cajun fries? So good! I ordered it to go, but the atmosphere there is really nice. Very fashionable. Nice bar. I could see someone meeting up with friends for a drink there! It’s a Sunday & they were setting up for a paint night. Like painting & drinking? Great place with great food!

Place was beautiful and food was pretty good! I got the Chicken Kabob plate and it was very very filling! The Pita was the BOMB and waitress was a little off like as if she had been drinking.(don’t know what was going on… maybe that’s her personality) lol but she was super sweet, curtious, and got all our orders out on time and correct. Very chill environment until after 10. We were there for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night which was salsa night and it got a little busy and loud but it was so much fun! We had a blast! But anyway the food was good and place was nice. I’d go again. Would have gave a five star rating lol but I don’t know, the waitress was just too off.

By far the best mediterranean food I’ve had in Dallas. FOOD: The hummus and falafel are perfect, the sauces are great, especially the spicy cilantro sauce(homemade and not too heavy) and the meat is cooked perfectly to order. I had the lamb kabob dinner which comes with a few grilled vegetables, rice and a small side of mediterranean salad(check the Unilocal pictures, they are very helpful). All components of my entrée were very good and the flavors were terrific. Was especially surprised when it actually came out medium rare. Other people I was with both said they really enjoyed their meals — they got the lamb chop dinner and the gyro sandwich. SERVICE: Extremely good. The waiters were attentive and polite and were accomodating when we asked to change tables(ours was a bit wobbly). ATMOSPHERE: The place is clean and modern, doesn’t quite feel like a mediterranean restaurant, but it’s not bad. There are booths, tables, good sized bar and outdoor patio. There was a dj setting up as we finished our meal so I’m guessing they get a late night crowd.

The restaurant was surprisingly empty even though it was dinner time. In addition to one table occupied, there were a couple folks sitting at the bar. I observed more of the staff started their shift after I ordered, so the restaurant may not get busy until later in the evening. I ordered a glass of the Shiraz. Instead of a wine glass, it was delivered in a beer glass. That should’ve been a hint. The wine wasn’t very pleasing; there was an aftertaste which I didn’t expect. Although the mixed grill kabob of chicken & beef was suggested, I decided on the lamb kabob. Fortunately, the entrée made forget the wine. The lamb had enough seasoning that I didn’t waste the yogurt dip in it. Instead I saved the yogurt to add some more flavor to the basmati rice. As for the service, my waitress was very attentive. If I had to provide any criticism, she may have been a bit too attentive. She came to check on me a few times while I was eating my entrée. I contemplated ordering dessert, but jar cheesecakes were out of stock. I couldn’t imagine ordering anything other than the Nutella cheesecake, so I left without dessert. When I got the credit slip, I noticed my card was missing. My card was given to me until I returned the credit slip signed and the gratuity added. I imagined I arrived too early to properly experience the restaurant. If I am ever in the area again, I will come here much later in the evening.

The food was really good here. We had a birthday dinner party here for 15 people and had good service too. I ordered the Chicken Kabob with comes with a small cucumber salad, rice, and tzatziki sauce. Also ordered falafel and hummus as appetizers which were also very good. They have Rumba nights on Saturdays so that was fun also but not that large of a crowd. Nice patio with hookah too. I will be back! :)

Love it! Okay so I’m a new Unilocaler(although I’ve been reading reviews for years) and while here on business… met up with a friend who loves this place and knows I love Mediterranean. Ordered the mixed grill(chicken/ground beef) and it was Delish! My Friend had the shrimp(her usual) …and it had a kick to it! I could drink the yogurt sauce(it’s not tzatziki)…the cucumber salad is like a Mediterranean pico… Very nice clean décor and we stayed late on the patio with our drinks and hookah… Service was friendly, food great, will return next time I’m in town

Skewers seems to be a very hip restaurant, it has a really big bar area that takes up 1⁄3 of the restaurant. The food here is hit or miss it seems. I had the wings, garlic butter flavor, they didnt have flavor. The wings were over cooked as well The mixed plate was ok, the meat had flavor but it wasnt anything special, same as any other place that has kabobs. decent restuarant but nothing id recommend to anyone.

This is a great new addition to Addison, I have come to skewers for both lunch and dinner and I can say that the food NEVER disappoints. We usually start off with the hummus which is always fresh and the pita chips are addicting. For food I always get the chicken kabobs which are marinated to perfection and it comes with rice, salata and amazing yogurt chutney. The drinks here are always on point, most of the time you can just let the bartender know what type of liquor you like and they can make you a really good drink. Now a few things that disappointed me are the service and hookahs. I have had the hookah here a few times and it’s never quite smooth, it always has a harsh chalky taste. The service here could use A LOT of improvement. Once you order no one really comes back to check on you and when order food it takes a really long time for you to get it. This place has a lot of potential, but if they had more staff to make service better I would come back more often. They have a great patio, bar and plenty of seating inside. I would just ask to please do better on your service so our time at skewers would be more enjoyable.
