Food is not bad, but the service is TERRIBLE. We ordered 4 kinds of sushi rolls and each took about an hour to arrive. We were starving by the time food arrived. We ran out of water at our table, told a waitress about it, she NEVER came back until we ran out of patience and asked again (20 mins after the initial request.) She was nice enough to offer complimentary ice cream so that was appreciated.
OVERALL, if you are already hungry, don’t go to this place.

Good sushi/​nice décor can’t make up for a rude server and a 45 minute wait! There was literally one other table there when we arrived. Other customers seemed to receive better service as we sat and were ignored. Waitress didn’t have the slightest idea about decorum. No thanks.

Was at first skeptical because of the previous reviews, but given that they’re from 2009 and 2010 respectively thought I’d give it a shot and was very pleasantly surprised. Have been back multiple times since.
You can order food a la carte, but I love their all-​you-​can-​eat made-​to-​order dinner special for $ 25 (cheaper for lunch) — you can get sushi rolls, maki, sashimi, soups and noodles, and any of their appetizers. The sushi was fresh and tasty and there were a variety of traditional and less traditional rolls to try. The appetizers were great as well, as was the ramen. Definitely a great deal as it’s easy to eat more than your money’s worth. Service is also fine (although not spectacular).

I have to agree with the other two reviews of this place. It was really not what I had expected. It looks as if 20 years ago it might have been a nice place.
Food was horrible service was ok. This place should just close up shop.

Ran around and tried lots of these sushi places, and this is one that I will not be returning to. The service was OK, but the sushi was not there, everyone in our party was underwhelmed by the offering.

After eating at many sushi establishments in Winnipeg, I would rate this sushi place as one of the worst in terms of quality and service. The sushi was also very expensive. Totally not worth it. Try at your own risk.
