This location is right beside my office and I find that the employees here are the friendliest. They always greet me with a friendly smile and make me feel welcomed. Grabbed a spinach and egg feta wrap this morning for breakfast and I loved it. Tasted very healthy but also flavourful and filled me up. One of my favourite breakfast meals that is low in calorie and a nice change from your typical breakfast sandwiches. Americanos are always great as well.

Dropped in today and found the usual friendly staff here. Sometimes Starbucks locations seem to have new staff all the time, but there are familiar faces here and I’ve been going maybe once a month for over a year. Watch out for the 8AM coffee line-up that often goes out the door. Come maybe 10 minutes earlier to escape that madness that can continue past 8:30AM. If you are looking for a place to sit, don’t let that line-up scare you off because most people are getting their coffees to go. Today I had a coupon to try their sandwiches($ 4 for sandwich plus Grande coffee), which I wouldn’t have normally done. On a whim, I asked for their«least ordered» sandwich, and they were honestly at a loss about what to suggests since apparently everything gets ordered. In the end, I was suggested the Sausage and Cheddar. (Rating is NOT based on the sandwich) Sausage and Cheddar savory breakfast sandwich. Southern-style sausage patty and egg topped with melted aged Cheddar cheese on a perfectly toasted English muffin. — There is nothing wrong with the individual components of this item except the muffin itself: It was limp. — It wasn’t in the paper bag for long enough that steam should have softened it IF it had been toasted. — At the same time it didn’t cool quickly enough to make me suspect it had been microwaved. — I should have watched them prep it instead of fooling around with my coffee. However, bottom line is it doesn’t feel as fresh as it could be. You can probably get a more decent breakfast item elsewhere. Without the coupon, the price(including a Grande coffee) would have been over $ 6 after tax. Either pass on the breakfast sandwiches or try something other than sausage and cheddar.

The layout is very odd and narrow even though there is some seating, therefore, no matter how busy it is than you will bump elbows or in this case due to location, people’s suitcases. The lady at the til was super sweet and even offered an extra sleeve for me ’cause the tea was really hot. she had a nice smile and petted my cat hat.

Long line up so long in fact it was out the door. But this is starbucks, what can you expect. Once I got my coffee I tried to sit down for few minutes. Not a chance. There really should be time limit for those seats. This is one location I won’t return to

Hands down, the best Starbucks I’ve ever been too. I’m usually in before work in the morning when it’s bat shit crazy. This crew has got it together. They’re fast, super friendly, and usually remember everyone’s names and drinks. No kidding. Line up out the door? Don’t let that phase you. You’ll have ordered and paid within a couple minutes. Never encountered a nicer Starbucks staff.

Blonde ambition. I’m surprised that there is no review on this location. Fraaaack, every other friggin’ Charbucks has been reviewed. Doesn’t matter, this will be my one and only Charbucks review. Anyway, this is in the upper level of the Royal Centre Mall, right above the Victoria Chinese Restaurant. Interesting location since there is another one in the Hyatt Hotel in the same complex. Closest CB to where I work. Indoor seating only. I have never been a fan of their coffee. I have nothing against the chain, the locations, or the staff. I simply do not like the coffee, hence the name Charbucks. It’s over roasted, burnt, or as Dan J. likes to say, «Charcoal briquettes.» Couldn’t agree more. I swear, the beans are not beans. It’s asbestos. How else can something, supposedly a coffee bean, singed by a supernova and still be served up as coffee? It might taste decent if it has been covered up with cream, milk, sugar and/or other syrups, but I like it black. So, blonde ambition. That can mean a couple of things. The Madonna tour which was hugely successful, or the movie with Jessica Simpson, which was pretty much nothing short of an unmitigated disaster. This is their new lighter roast, blonde roast. Highly ambitious, since they are out to capture more market share not captured by their other mass produced pyromaniac torched roasts. I tried it. I had to. I want to be fair. It still has the burnt undertones as an aftertaste that lingers. It’s definitely not as bad as their regular roasts that have survived a house fire, only to mutate looking and tasting like freshly laid roadway asphalt. Gawd, you’d think these poor beans need teeth so that you could ID their source through dental records! The downside of the Blonde Roast is that it is flat tasting. Similar to this: The coffee at Blue edge at least doesn’t have the burnt after taste. Charbucks ambitious Blonde Roast still does. So why the lighter roast? In the past, Charbucks, prided themselves on their acetylene torched beans as being superior to other coffees. Are the consumers finally waking up to the fact that their coffee IS scorched with napalm? Before the Blonde Roast there was the Pike Place Roast which was similar in vein — a less burnt roast. However, this roast is even lighter than the Pike Place roast. Hmmmm… So, this new coffee get’s the Jessica Simpson movie approval. Rotten tomatoes. It’s not very good. It’s not terrible, but it lacks any body like what you would expect in a blonde.(Sorry, couldn’ t resist that one. =P) How soon will it hit the DVD release, if at all, is the question. If it were me, not soon enough.

This Starbucks had always been consistent with my order so I’m relatively happy coming here. Service is good and efficient. This had a decent amount of seating inside, but they do seem to be filled up majority of the time.

I received a Starbucks gift card over the holidays and I’m not really a coffee drinker. As a result, I decided to get a sandwich which cost $ 5.95. It was a turkey and cheddar on sunflower bread sandwich. It was okay and nothing special. There was a decent amount of turkey in it. However, for the cost, I would rather have a Subway sandwich which would be more filling unless you really wanted sunflower bread.

This Starbucks was ok. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the best. Not as much seating as I would like. While I was there the wi-fi wasn’t working when I needed it to. The service was decent, but they were out of a lot of the food when I got there at 9am. The coffee however was tasty, as always.

Another day, another Starbucks… I like the staff at this location. Plenty of seating. Like all Starbucks they offer free WiFi. Open mall hours only.
