Popular sushi chain. I only come here for the avocado and cucumber roll which is hard to mess up. As long as you stick with the basics and nothing fancy things will work out. They do seem to have a slight atitude problem, however, the price is good which makes up for it to some extent.

I love this place. I live in downtown Vancouver so I have been to a lot of sushi places and I must say this place has my favorite spicy tuna rolls. They also have an amazing seaweed salad and the portion is so much larger than other places that I go to. I think the value at this place is one of the best that I’ve seen for downtown Vancouver and would definitely recommend it to people for a try. I live a good walk away from this place and my husband and I still make a point to walk over for a nice sushi dinner.

Just say no no to Momo. Worst sushi I have ever had. Twice. I should have known better after the first go-round, but sometimes it’s raining really hard and I just can’t bring myself to leave the confines the Royal Centre, and I was craving that oh-so-addictive combination of wasabi and soy sauce. The first time I went there, I just ordered avocado and vegetable rolls. The avocado was obviously past its best before date, being really mushy and unappetizing. The vegetable roll was basically just more avocado and lettuce. It was bad sushi, but everyone has an off day, right? Knowing I would be working in the Royal Centre for the forseeable future, i thought I should give Momo, in their very convenient location, another shot. Bad bad bad idea. Next time around, I ordered a BC roll, which appeared to be no more than canned salmon in a roll. Nothing else. It wasn’t even edible. I had to throw it out and buy a whole new lunch. The Royal Centre food court has many other options, so I suggest you try any of them, and avoid this place at all costs. There are at least 10 sushi restaurants within a 10 block radius, so there is no need to ever go here. Ever.

This little sushi place is downstairs in Royal Centre Mall, where I typically spend my lunchbreak. They don’t have a giant selection of sushi, and the sushi they do have is pretty expensive, but if you’re in a hurry it will do in a pinch. There aren’t a lot of veggie rolls on the menu, so I usually opt for the veggie combo, which comes with a veggie roll(cucumber avocado and lettuce) and a cucumber roll, two pieces of inari and I will typically get it with miso soup, so it comes to $ 9.07 after tax. For less I can walk two blocks up the street and get a veggie combo at Kimono with a veggie roll(spinach, oshinko, carrot, and cucumber) a yam roll, and a cucumber roll, with miso soup included! Too bad I fell off my rollerblades this weekend and am too crippled to walk the two blocks to satisfy my hunger.
