To put it simply, this location sucks. They’re rude, they’re unreliable, and they don’t read directions. I used to pickup from there because they didn’t deliver to me and always had to check my order for accuracy because something was wrong nine times out of ten. The one time I called and complained to their main corporate number about an order they messed up, they told me they’d pass it along to the store to deal with, as it could only be dealt with at a store level. Needless to say, I never heard from the store. Now I live within delivery distance, so I ordered from them again for the first time in months. It was not good. The food was late and lukewarm, the cookie was really overcooked, and the delivery guy didn’t follow my instructions — I gave specific directions to my suite, he bothered my landlords in their house. It seems really obvious the franchisee at this store just doesn’t care.

So the S-O and I decided to try some tasty PIZZA from this restaurant. GOODTHING we didn’t check Unilocal(as our usual mode of operation) before coming here! It was the weekend, it was POURING and we just wanted a pizza fix. Since we like to try lots of restaurants, we decided to go out of our way to order take out from here. You can go online to make your custom made pizza. It’s quite a user friendly site(if you have promo codes, enter them before you customize your pizza) otherwise I was quite amused at the animation of the pizza toppings falling onto the e-pizza. We tried a chicken, 3 cheese, olives, green peppers, onion? pizza! It was actually GOOD. WAY better than just 1 star. The lady in the restaurant was kind. Only downside is that downtown is a bit too far for this location to deliver, so you may have to drive to get your PJP fix. :D

Such a rude staff! I ordered delivery from this location before. disappointing taste and it was too soggy. but it wasn’t too bad so I tried to order online today again but there weren’t any payment options other than cash. so I called to ask if they don’t get card payment. A female staff who answered the phone said«You can pay by visa, master and debit card.» but I heard her saying«you can’t» because of her accent. so I asked again«Do you only accept cash then?» and she goes«you can! C.A.N!» She yelled at me over the phone. what the eff? Is it how you’re supposed to talk to a customer? She should have told me that the driver carries a card machine so that I could have understood how it worked. I’m so sick of people being unprofessional and rude at restaurants. I completely lost interest in ordering from papa john’s and I’m not going to order from this location ever again.

DONOTGETDELIVERY!!! It’s true what the others are saying about this place. It’s run by spoiled little rich kids that are probably forced by their parents to go out and get a job bc their work ethic SUCKS& it is apparent in the food and service. After waiting over an hour for a pizza that is only 5 minutes away, it arrived and the delivery guy obviously dropped it and didn’t tell us. After tipping him I closed the door and was starving to death excited to dig into my pizza, opened the box and found a pizza with ALLITSTOPPINGS – YES, including ALLTHECHEESEMANGLED, with SPECKSOFGRAVELANDSANDINIT!!! The delivery guy really thought he was going to get away with this!!!

I am not sure what it is about Papa John’s in general, especially this location but every time we’ve ordered(friends in the area who actually like the pizza), the dough always tastes as though it is under cooked.

Compared to the Papa John’s in Kingsway, Burnaby, this one’s really disappointing. You would figure that being in Kerrisdale, there would be some standards, but no, even over the phone to do pickup, no «Papa John’s Pizza, how can we help you today?» Any variation would be fine lol. For the price and quality, it’s to be expected but thought the toppings were a bit light. small store, probably just caters to the high school students behind them. I say spend the extra bucks over at George’s down south on West Boulevard.

Tasty pizza, but Home delivery service is useless. I had ordered pizzas from here before, and had had them delivered to my old address with no problem. When I moved yesterday to a new place within 6 blocks of the old one, I ordered several pizzas to feed the friends who helped out. Half an hour later the pizzas hadn’t arrived so we called and were told they were on their way. 20 minutes later they called to say our address was out of their distribution area. I said, ok, what about delivering to the old address? You’ve delivered there before. To no avail, that supposedly is also out of their distribution area. I still don’t understand how I got pizzas delivered previously. My conclusion is that they are lazy or even worse, incompetent. Almost an hour to notice an address is outside your«jurisdiction»? Hello, google maps? Not ordering here again.

If you have had Papa John’s pizza, it’s nothing different in all their stores. I placed an order online and when I arrived 15 minutes later, it was ready for pick up. My salami studded one-topping pizza came with a side of garlic butter dipping sauce and a pepperoncini. The crust was quite consistent and the taste was okay but $ 10.99 for a large pizza with about 10 paper-thin slices of salami is not what I call a good deal. It kinda feel like I am eating mostly the dough, quite frankly. Service was quick but very impersonal — just don’t expect any smiles or the feel that you’re welcomed at the store. Grab your pizza and go …
