The good thing about this store is that it is hit and miss on condition and style, however, the prices are decent enough that you can take it home and personalize it or finish it as you see fit which is perfect for projects. They have sales often. I’ve never had to use their customer service as I was always just browsing for inspiration.

This place carries some really unique teak furniture. It would probably be too much to do your entire home in it, but a piece or two would certainly add some flavour to your furnishings. The prices are reasonable and the lady working was really friendly. The furniture ranges from large bookshelves and bed frames to accent tables and frames. There were also plenty of home accessories like pillows, jewellery boxes and other very affordable decorations for your pad. Definitely a more genuine feel here than a lot of the large«import» shops in the South Granville neighbourhood, and it’s only a stone’s throw from Granville and Broadway. Go peek your head in!

The pieces at Ming’s Art Furniture Gallery range from new to antique. Beautiful lanterns, intricately painted cabinets, ultra polished horseshoe chairs, picture frames, and lots of ceramics create an eclectic and pleasing mix. On my recent visit, many items were tagged with extremely reasonable sale prices in the same price bracket as those stores that hawk boring cookie-cutter pieces. For a similar price to uninspired furniture, pick up something unique at Ming’s Art Furniture and add a little colorful Asian influence to your place.
