Jack & Jill Clothing

It sounds like they get their merchandise from Europe. That means that they have nice items which are more expensive than my regular purchase level. I found a coat worthy of investing in, though!
The storekeepers are not snooty and let me browse on my own. yay!

Jack and Jill is a very nice store. It is a local business.
I bought a nice leather vest there at a great price on sale and I love it. It is very soft and high quality.
In terms of service, it was excellent. They did everything they could to accomodate me.

I WILL NOT SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN! I was browsing and picking out clothes to try on and asked for a medium. The saleslady said she didn’t have one and would I like to try a large? I am not a skinny mini, nor am I fat. I said a large would be too big. Later on, while trying on some of the clothes, I asked if she had a small in a particular top I was trying. She responded with shock and incredulity, and a somewhat loud voice, «A small?» Yes, a small. This medium is too big. I was incredibly offended. It was as if she was saying, «There’s no way YOU fit a small.»
I bought the small in spite of this slight and wanted to say something, but I think she was one of the owners. It would not have done any good.
DON’T SHOP HERE if you’re not a size 2, unless you want to be insulted by the staff. The WORST SERVICE. Not the kind you would expect on South Granville.
