I never imagined even a simple omelette could go so wrong. I went for breakfast, ordered nothing fancy after seeing the ratings on Unilocal, thought they can’t screw up an omelette but I turned out to be wrong.

This place has gone so far downhill I can’t even see where it originally stood. New management has changed the hrs(not the décor tho puke) so its no longer 24hrs. The service is slow as a snail and lets talk about the«food». Yes, it’s cheap(as most ghetto like things are) but if I wanted crap frozen ghetto food, hi mcdicks down the road. Fry nazi gives you like ten fries while the burger is very very pepper friendly. Only eat here if you like cheap, nasty food!

I want to like this place so bad because I LOVE little diners but really this place was awful. Their fries were soggy, the whip cream on the crêpe was melted, and my chicken strips were rock hard too and the batter was off. It was white/yellow and oily. I think its a good place to go to sit down and have diner coffee at, read a paper, chat to friends and hang out at. It seems like a great place for that. Just stay away from a majority of the menu!

One of the great places to get ghetto-coffee. Yes, ghetto indeed. Parking is available in a lot in behind the building. The pavement is quite uneven though, so try not to ground our your car. You can also park on the street at night. The place probably hasn’t been renovated since the 1980s. Cheap vinyl seats, and beaten up pink walls. The coffee here is really diner-style. Free refills. Yay! I’m sure the ghetto-food here should be pretty decent too, but did not get a chance to try.

Average is really the best word to describe this place. I came here after a very, very rough night of drinking and ordered the eggs benedict. It tasted okay. It was really cheap and I couldn’t finish it. I’m not sure if that was due to portions or simply because I was such a mess. One of us ordered steak(lol why would you ever), and he said he could no doubt have done it far better for probably the same price. The other ordered eggs benny as well but also a waffle with apples and it looked more like pineapple than apple, so… take that as you will. Service was good until we wanted our bill. We waited 20 – 25 minutes for our bill before we had to ask someone, who then asked our server, who then just asked us to pay on our way out… so… … None of us died or got any more sick, but I won’t return here because there’s not much motivation to.

Bino’s looks cozy, and they’re cheap, but their food is not good. They don’t cook anything properly. Their fries are lazy frozen fries you’d put in the oven at home, their breakfast short order chef doesn’t really know how to cook eggs or bacon or hashbrowns well, and I’ve never dared stray from these diner standards the few times I went. The waitress is impersonal, hardly even there, there’s never anyone inside so you can choose wherever you’d like to sit. They get 2 stars because it is actually a nice place to sit around. When it was 24 hours I had prime reason to go, but it hasn’t been so for a few years. I might update this review pending investigation of a rumor about their pancakes. Currently, they deserve a barely 2 stars.

We came here on a sunday morning, after a heavy saturday night. We went because the location worked for us. The food was cheap and ok, but nothing special. The place has an old diner feel, although it looks a bit run and could do with a renovation/deep clean! I think it would be a good place to take kids for breakfast/brunch as it’s very family friendly and they can order all the pancakes and waffles they want without it costing the earth!

There’s honestly nothing decent to eat around this neighbourhood and Bino’s is just another one of those mediocre restaurants to add to the list. The building itself has been around for decades and the interior’s diner-esque décor takes you back to the 70’s and resembles an old retirement home. I wouldn’t consider this place to be the cleanliest, however, I have seen worse. In terms of food, they offer an all-day breakfast for cheap which comes with pancakes or hash browns with toast, eggs made your way, and bacon or sausages. Everything else on the menu including burgers and sandwiches are priced comparably to other similar restaurants, and I should advise checking you food prior to consuming. I’ve heard stories of stomach aches after dining there(I was one of them). If I may suggest, keep away from the salads.

I used to visit Bino’s in the middle of the night, order their cheapest item($ 4.99 all-day breakfast), and sit there all night because I was bored. Sigh, good times indeed. One time, I had the honor to witness a dine-and-dash incident; their server(this rugged looking fellow) grabbed a bat and tried chasing after a group of kids in their early 20s; he didn’t succeed because the group quickly hopped into a car and sped off; he then went on to mutter to himself but all I was able to catch was the term«trailer trash» coming out of his mouth. Yea… Funny anecdotes aside, Bino’s actually serves eh-okay food for a reasonable price. It’s a mom and pop’s restaurant so a lot is forgivable. The place has a cozy ambiance; dim lighting, padded seats, soft-listening radio playing. I believe it’s a popular spot for old people in the area(they have free newspapers and bottomless coffee). They’re no longer opened 24hrs as advertised on their store front but they do serve till 1−2am so if you’re too far away from a Denny’s and craving diner-food in the middle of the night, Bino’s your next best bet!

How does this place get 3 stars average. I know that it is a 24 hours place, however, since Knight and Day on Kingsway near Metrotown closed, this has been my desperation eat after late night shows, however, the food horrible. I’ve eaten better at an American all you can eat buffet in a strip mall. This area needs a Knight and Day.

A-OK. Service was ok. Food was ok. Prices can’t be argued with. They have signage advertising their all day breakfast special at under $ 5. Apparently free Wifi too, if you are so inclined. If you are looking for a reasonably quiet place to sit and study and enjoy coffee and food when required and not have to worry about being kicked out after an hour, this might be your place. Weekend lunchtimes get quite busy apparently but anytime other than that you’ll easily find a seat. We were disproportionately hungry and often don’t make the best choices when we’re too hungry to think. Bino’s has been around for a long time and is probably a safe bet in a pinch. I was waffling between the choice of a reuben, BLT, beef dip, and the Monte Cristo. Opted for the reuben, while my honey selected the BLT. We shared half sandwiches, because that’s what lovers do. Honey agreed that my reuben was the better of the two. Came with fries that screamed for ketchup and while I was at it I became obsessed with dipping my reuben in ketchup, even though I’m not typically a ketchup person. Strange.

The service at this restaurant is very friendly and genuine as they cater to regulars in the area. The all day breakfast is definitely a good value and tastes better than what you would get at chain restaurants. Although the restaurant might look like a cheap restaurant on the outside, not everything on the menu is good value considering the décor and ambience. I would stick with the all day breakfast with pancakes and add a side of hashbrowns for only about 70 cents and you’re full for the day!

When you walk into this place, it’s like going back to the 1980’s to early 1990’s. All the seating is a maroon vinyl and all the patrons are oldies. It feels like walking right into nostalgia. This diner gives off an air of times gone by. Today I was seriously craving some pancakes and me and a friend and her daughter didn’t want to go to far to get some, so we thought of going to this place. We initially thought that it may have closed down already becuase it has been a long time since I or my friend noticed if it was still there. Luckily, a nice lady at Safeway said that it was, after asking her where we can get some pancakes near by. Apparently Bino’s has been around for over 30 years, but this particular location is under new management now from the original owners, I guess. When we got our seats, it was about lunch time already, so we had breakfast for lunch, which I think is the best kind. I ordered a $ 5 lunch special that included two eggs, three sausages, and three pancakes. Not too shabby for 5 bucks. It was good! It was breakfast food for lunch, how can you go wrong?! I like this Diner because it doesn’t have that chain feel like IHOP or Denny’s. I will surely come back again when in need of pancakes and breakfast for lunch! St3Fin

Well I don’t feel like I’m about to crap my pants which is usually the case when it comes to ultra cheap breakfast deals so that’s good. The food is pretty good quality for the price. Had the two eggs, 3 sausage links and two pancakes. Not much to look at inside, but there’s free wifi!

I know I know, the food isn’t the best. I think I’ve been coming here for three years now. I almost always get their breakfast special, but their Bino’s enchilada is pretty good too. Their eggs are rather bland. and the syrup has changed. but I still come here for my breakfast food. They have a special at $ 3.95 for 2 eggs, 3 sausage links or bacon, and pancakes or hash browns with toast. How do you beat that?! It’s quiet at night, sometimes busy in the morning, especially on weekends. I come here quite often with my friends. I’ve figured out all three waitresses. The lady with the darker skin that usually works at night isn’t always nice. She likes to talk on the phone or certain customers. There’s an Asian waitress, slim, medium length black hair. She is usually tired, but she recognizes the regulars and talks to them. Friendly. And my favourite waitress is another Asian waitress, more curvy, and she never ties her hair up. She usually has on lipstick. She’s very friendly and she remembers my order. even if I don’t come for a month at a time. She even remembers I’m a vegetarian! She definitely keeps me coming back to Bino’s. Plus they’re open very early and until 1am. It’s pretty clean and this is like my version of Central Perk from Friends. Hahaha.
