Wow. What an experience! A true breath of fresh air in the Barbershop world. Dario is an absolute expert at his craft, and at making you feel totally at home in his barbershop. From the minute you walk in, you are so well taken care of, this alone will keep you coming back. The vibe and the ambiance are just perfect. A great mix of new and old, small but comfortable, I would recommend this place to anyone. I will also say this — I own and operate a small retail business in the same area. I know how important customer service is, and Dario has nailed it. He is genuine, cares about his business as well as his customers, and it shows from the minute you walk in, until you’re walking out that door. Will NEVER go anywhere else.

Dario is no frills get-the-job done barber for men. He is super friendly and sensitive to requests. He is my go-to guy in the neighbourhood who I trust to do a great cut every time. Yes he has limited hours in the afternoon(he lives out of town with a young family) but if you can handle it, then check out the best barber in the Junction!

Dario is a decent guy and gives a good haircut but he is UNRELIABLE — seems to open and close on a whim. I got there today at 2:40, he was supposed to be open til 3 but he was closed. Saw him inside talking to his buddy. This has happen a few times before as well. Good luck if you go. Update: 07÷07÷14 Nowhere is it stated that the last appointment is 2:30. Update: 07÷09÷14 Mr Barber messaged me regarding this review, insisting it was his prerogative to open and close whenever he likes with no notice. I replied that he owes his customers the courtesy of being open during his posted hours, especially when he is still in the shop(which he was). The following is Mr Barbers response, unedited and verbatim: Hi Jack, Dario P. sent you a message on Unilocal: Subject: Whiny little bitch… «Lmao. I feel so sorry for you buddy. Its all good for every douchinator like you who needs to use his poison phone to get attention and tries to damage others, I get 3 or 4 decent clients who stay for good and don’t whine like little piggies when they can’t get in 10 mins before closing time. Good luck!» Seriously? I’m posting an honest review about my experiences and I get this, like I’m not allowed an opinion on a site like Unilocal? When I’m hustling to get to his shop to give him my business and my money? It’s not like I was being malicious or nasty — guess the guy just can’t handle honest criticism. Now, I really don’t care about him and his shop, but I thought this reply was pretty immature. He obviously doesn’t need the customers. Stay classy, Mr Barber. Grow up.

Fantastic guy who makes for great conversation! It pains me to say this but I stopped going to him because he would often rush through my haircuts. I’m not one to nitpick but I would often leave with different sides of my hair cut unevenly upon further inspection. I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt since he is a good guy and I wanted to give him more of a chance. After several repeat visits my leniency & patience ran out. Since then I have opted to go somewhere else who is not only cheaper but does a better job.

I’m one of the pickiest people on this planet when it comes to my barber/hair dresser, but this is the best one I ever had. Tell him what you want, and he’ll nail it. And you don’t just gain a bartender, you gain a friend.

Best barber in the city. Located in the junction. Going there for a hair cut is comfortable like visiting an old friend I have been going to Mr Barber for years. I sit in the chair, we talk about news, technology, family. Before I notice my hair is exactly the way I want it
